Ah, Avatar: The Last Airbender. It was really amazing, and I really liked it a whole lot. My favorite non-Japanese show ever. Still, though, the one thing that I did dislike was the way Aang defeated the Fire Lord. It's not that I wanted him dead or anything, it's just that I absolutely hate it when stories try to resolve these issues by introducing some totally new concept that we never knew anything about right near the ending. It's good to be unpredictable, but it shouldn't be taken to its extreme literal sense..

yeah, you have a point there. but because of the way it's a major part of the story line in legend of Korra, I'm okay with it.

Aside from the cars and shit, I do sort of like Korra actually. Tenzin and his kids are by far the lolziest.

Honestly I would watch Korra even if the whole summary of the show were "Korra kicks people in the face". But there's a plot too! Even better!

The newest episode was interesting, but more characterization through talking than I would care for.

I always want another episode by the time one is over. Would be cool if these things could be an hour long.

Sokka is the best.

Man, you know whats weird? I was digging on Avatar and i was like "man, for a kids show, this is awesome." and i like, didnt have a lot of interwebz access at the time the show was in its prime. So i had no idea there was this GINORMOUS fanbase for it. So when i was able to use the interwebz again, i saw all these people going all:

about it, i was like "whoa!"

Also Korra is pretty awesome.

The newest episode of Korra was pretty cool, but way too damn early. Like damn, that kind of drama is supposed to build up way later than the fifth episode. >.>

I did like how Korra came through in that match they had. Such epic finish. I felt like the chapter was way too short though...

The show itself or the pace? I don't really have any complaints about the animation quality and stuff, but the pace definitely does seem quicker than Avatar's. I've seen one person describe it as the show being more action-centric, relative to The Last Airbender being more story-centric. I think L.o.Korra could stand to slow down and have the characters interact and grow more, but I don't find it really bothersome, and it's still pretty early.

Spoiler -

Legend of Korra is the story of the next avatar. Aang died around the age of 70 and the cycle of the avatar renewed.
in this new season (book 1; air) Korra has to master her final element, air.

I'd suggest you'd watch book 3; fire first though.
