Well, it's just that non-sibling female Mark was also bugging Loran about playing "stacking books" with her, even though he said he didn't want to. Maybe it's because it's just her first two supports, but I'm not really a big fan of people (or characters) who are just pestering and annoying like that. Remind me of annoying little kids, and I'm pretty sure Mark isn't a "little kid" either ... Anyway, to each their own. I just find female Mark a little annoying right now ... Courtship's tended to be brief things before marriage, due to marriages being arranged for either political purposes (in the case of the aristocracy) or in peasants cases, simply because they didn't have the time or money to engage in the processes that we would associate with courtship. That wasn't to say it never happened, but it wasn't very common and was still very different to what we would call 'dating'. Using the term 'girlfriend' or 'boyfriend' in this setting would come off as sounding weird. Besides, the rings are engagement rings. The Support Viewer only lists possibilities of alternate conversations in the case of parent/child and sibling relationships. It's especially funny for female Mark, who has three possible supports listed with some second-gen females: one support if they're unrelated, one if they're siblings, and one if they're parent and child. Worth noting that it displays all these possibilities whether or not you've actually ever met the conditions for them.
