Are the conversations of the new festival DLC getting posted online anywhere?

Doesn't look like we've gotten any yet, but I haven't checked in a while. If not it'll be up soon, I would bet. At least some of them anyway. We could denote them with a [R] for Resort, for Ultimate (Training), and [D] for the Future of Despair or something like that. Also, the Resort ones come in pairs (Like the RD supports but with actual supports, not one-liners). Ex: Krom can talk to Fred on the 1st turn in the festival episode, and then Fred can talk to Krom on the 3rd or something like that.

IN OTHER NEWS. Got a conversation completed! colon3.gif GregoRonku, everyone!

[spoiler=Grego/Ronku]

[spoiler=C Support]

Ronku: …………

Grego: What's up with you, Ronku? Y'face's creepin' me out. I'm not y'enemy. So what's with the bloodthirsty look?

Ronku: Grego. Your name… I remember hearing something like it from Basilio. Only once in his life did he tie with an opponent; a notorious mercenary… Grego: Aw man, that brings me waaaay back. Well, it was a long time ago.

Ronku: The winner was supposed to become the next king of Felia.

Grego: Whoops, went all nostalgic there. Normally even I would've forgotten stuff like that.

Ronku: Well then… looks like the story was true. Show me your skills first hand!

Grego: Whoa, hold on a sec. You're not really tryin' t'pick a fight, are ya?

Ronku: It'll be just like it is in the arena. I'd like to fight you earnestly.

Grego: Good grief, man. Don't you remember I'm a mercenary? I'm not fightin' if there's no gold. I refuse.

Ronku: Isn't your blood boiling!? Why don't you want to fight me!?

Grego: I already told ya, I'm sorry but I won't fight without money. Besides, if you fought with me, your current strength wouldn't be enough.

Ronku: …!

Grego: Well, nice bein' able to talk with ya. See ya 'round.

Ronku: That guy…

[spoiler=B Support]

Ronku: …Take this, Grego.

Grego: What's all the gold for? Isn't this your pocket money?

Ronku: Mercenaries…they don't fight without being paid for it, right…? Then I'll give all I've got. That… is the conditions for my request…

Grego: Ah, so that's why you came. Guess I can't refuse with that, huh? Even so though, why do ya wanna fight me, anyway? Tryin' t'figure out how you can start gettin' an advantage on Basilio?

Ronku: …I don't recall asking you toshoot the breeze.

Grego: Yeah yeah, I get it. Well, lemme double-check. Surely we won't be doin' a death-match, right? How do ya win?

Ronku: In order to defeat your opponent… Stop them before they attack and show them how you've won.

Grego: Sounds good. So, when will we start?

Ronku: …Now.

Grego: Ooh. Well, that's my win.

Ronku: What…?

Grego: Dunno, do ya? Look at the sheath. Y'sword's stickin' out.

Ronku: H-how did you…?

Grego: Ooh, there's an opening.

Ronku: Agh…!

Grego: Don't move. Even if I sneeze, my sword would pierce your throat. Well, that's that. "Stop them before they attack and show them how you've won." That's what you said, right? Ronku: Y-You coward…! Don't give me that BS!

Grego: True, cowardice is bad. However, that's the difference between you and Basilio.

Ronku: S-Stop blabbering…!

Grego: Ya look a little blue, Ronku. But don't hate me for sayin' that.

[spoiler=A Support]

R:Grego…

G: What, ya wanna rematch?

R: …No. I came to apologize. In yesterday's battle… I certainly lost. On the battlefield… there's no room for cowardice. What I lack… as you've shown, is a strong mind… one that won't be fooled by the unexpected… I was weak, shaken…

G:Haha, at least you're honest, eh? The setback of youth is the sustenance for growth, so to speak. Well, if you don't mind me sayin'…Ya gotta put a bit more strength int' that sword arm.

R: What…?

G: Y'stance ain't convincin'. I'll tell ya where you can improve.

R: …Mercenaries… didn't you say that they'll only work for money?

G: Well I did say that, but after thinkin' a while I'll let this one slide. Consider this somthin' like a volunteer service.

R: …I see. Well then… teach me everything you know!

G: Aha, there's the fire in your eyes! The fires of youth, 'er somthin' like that. Then again, I ain't about to push up daisies anytime soon either. Looks like you're ready to fight… Well then… let's get this show on the road!

[spoiler=Hint Explanation]

When they were determining the new King, the final match was Greg vs. Basilio... this makes me want a GregBasilio support... ohmy.gif

...Grego definitely places into the Cool Big Bro figure range for me... gee_wiz_emoticon.gif Soooo lulzy.

Also a little fanart for you guys. Poor Grego. xD http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=manga&illust_id=28460691

I liked this one. Seemed a lot shorter than the GregoxMaMu support, but it was nice. Nice, if brief, insight into the way King and Queen are determined... Though let's be honest, Grego would make an extremely lolsy king. Then again, from what little I've seen of Basilio he probably doesn't seem like a prime candidate either. Regardless, I love Grego. He's quickly becoming one of my favorite characters. I enjoyed the dialect you had him speaking with.

Grego x Ronku support got me curious about Grego x Richt support now. Would anyone be willing to translate that too?

Grego is definitely my most favorite character right now.

Almost became a king? That's awesome. ;;

i noticed something all the 2nd MALE generation characters have a rough and harsh side except (azure and wood)

Well, I suppose when you consider what their future is like it makes sense that they'd be pretty serious.

The only other male who isn't really all that serious is MaMark, or just Mark in general, what with being so young and such...

Even most of the girls from 2nd gen are pretty serious, except for maybe FeMark and Cynthia...

Noire could also be considered as less serious since she's more of a timid type, except for when she flips out of course. =P

I know right?! I kind of wish there was a yaoi/gay support in this game but the chances of one ever being put into an FE game period are slim if that.... =/

I mean a few hinted-at gay relationships have been in the FE series before, sure, but none that were 100% gay, sadly... =(

Actual gay support, no, but conversations that feel gay? A lot in the 100-yen (for a period) DLC.

Because I'm an impatient little pest, I google translated Libera x Mariabel. No, I will not torment you with awful translation. But here's a briefing of it for those interested (probably just me because I'm shipping these two):

[spoiler=Support Brief][spoiler=C Support]Mariabel and Libera talk about and join in prayer. Specifically, Mariabel comments that is an every morning routine, and Libera says how it is good. Then they talk about justice and how Mariabel saved Libera...? (I don't get the second half, it's too poorly translated)

[spoiler=B Support]Mariabel appears to be reading of past trials. They continue on to talk of parents abandoning children. Then Libera says "No matter for any reason, crime is supposed to be mortal sin to the aristocracy." (Which I think seems like an actually decent translation, hm.) Then they talk about fairness and weakness (I guess of the law). Then Libera talks of people born to be orphans (?) and thanks Mariabel for sharing words of "the owner of a pure heart like you".

[spoiler=A Support]Mariabel makes a decision and talks of a new battle when the war is over, a battle for law and protection. How she will go to Iris, then Felia and then Perezia in order to give relief. Then Mariabel speaks of how she knows it is reckless (?) and then Libera speaks of how it is a rocky road and lost in translation are words of appreciation (I say lost in translation because Libera speaks jibberish and then Mariabel thanks him for his appreciative words). And then Mariabel speaks of "Watakushi"? (The most formal way of being polite?)

[spoiler=S Support]Libera asks of Mariabel's determination to carry out her thoughts in the A Support and Mariabel speaks of how it is unbending. Libera comments that Mariabel is stubborn, and then Mariabel calls Libera "cute", then Libera remarks how Mariabel is charming/has a charm to her. Mariabel thinks of it as a joke, but then Libera says how what he said is true. Then suddenly Libera proposes! (Yay!) Then Mariabel asks what will become of her dream, if it shall be put to a halt. And Libera says "No way", and then comments on how he has never really seen Mariabel smile. He then presents a ring. Mariabel says she happily accepts it, and Libera says "We promise. Naga and Dragon God, I swear to love to you ...", which I think still sounds nice, even if it is poorly translated.

I should really take Japanese classes. ._.

EDIT: Thank you very much Enaeius for the translation! I understand the second half of the C support now. laugh.gif

Brace yourselves, folks. Today I bring you not one, not two, but three supports! Let's start off with one that has been requested quite a bit ago. The masculine woman and the feminine man; Soiree x Libera!

[spoiler=Soiree x Libera]

[spoiler=Soiree x Libera C]Libera: Oh, hoof prints in a place like this...? They go on for quite a bit too.

Soiree: What's up, Libera? If you're looking for something, I could help you out.

Libera: If it isn't Miss Soiree. Thank you for your kindness. However, I've already found what I've been looking for. After all, they belong to your horse, Miss Soiree.

Soiree: Huh? Ahh, you were following the hoof prints. Could it be that you have nothing to do right now? If you don't have any urgent business, could I talk with you for a sec?

Libera: I don't really have anything too important to do at the moment so if I can help you out somehow...

Soiree: Recently, I've been wondering. This army's become rather big. With our numbers this large, our meals and laundry and bathing... The simple everyday things are now much more of a pain. That's especially true for the women. Was there anything in particular that bothered you?

Libera: Um, not really?... That is to say. Miss Soiree, I am a man.

Soiree: Hmm? Ah... that's right. Sorry, I just forgot for a sec. I apologize if I've offended you.

Libera: No, please don't worry about it. I've gotten used to it... More importantly, about your question just now... Since you are a woman, don't you already know the answer to it?

Soiree: Nope, I don't think at all like a normal woman. Thanks, I'll go ask some of the others too.

Libera: No, no, please forgive me for not being able to help you out.

[spoiler=Soiree x Libera B]Soiree: Libera, wait up a sec.

Libera: Yes? Oh, Miss Soiree.

Soiree: I came to talk with you for a bit. Can I hold you up for a little while?

Libera: Of course, it's no problem. What did you want to talk about?

Soiree: First, I wanted to apologize to you before I got into the topic.

Libera: ...About that time earlier? I've already...

Soiree: No, I'm apologizing for what I'm about to discuss with you.

Libera: This is... a rather ominous way to broach the subject.

Soiree: I don't want to offend you but... what do you think about your appearance? About this feminine beauty of yours?

Libera: Oh my... I certainly didn't expect that question. Let's see... I haven't thought about it before but, because I get mistaken for a woman so often, it is a bit troublesome for me to enter male-only places. But why would you ask about something like this?

Soiree: ... I, have trouble accepting my femininity. That's why I always wanted to be treated just the same as the men and not use my being a woman as some kind of excuse. But... after meeting you before, I thought about it a bit. Stuff like how I should maybe accept myself the way I am.

Libera: It would not do for a person such as Miss Soiree to take someone like me as a role model.

Soiree: What do you mean?

Libera: The clergyman serving God, what sort of person would he be... Always smiling and giving praise, being kind and warm with everyone... I've always wanted to lead that kind of life.

Soiree: And aren't you doing exactly that right now?

Libera: Am I? It would be great if I were but... My true self is... Somewhere within me I feel that this is all just pretense. That it's all just on the outside but that there's actually nothing within... That... that feeling has never gone away.

Soiree: Libera...

Libera: I seem to have gone on a rather pointless tangent. Please forget that you heard anything, Miss Soiree.

[spoiler=Soiree x Libera A]Soiree: Libera. Do you have a dream or something of the sort?

Libera: A dream? I wonder... I suppose it's to see a peaceful world with my very own eyes.

Soiree: I thought as much... That's definitely what you truly desire. But on the other hand, you also look like you want to kill your own desires.

Libera: ...I, am not carrying out my own intents?

Soiree: No, that's not it. Wanting to throw away your own desire is probably also what you want. But it just seems to me that you're doing this to punish yourself.

Libera: I, I want to punish my... ... Why, why would you make such an earnest expression while looking at someone like me?

Soiree: ... I'm sure that I'm meddling in your business. I just can't seem to leave you be.

Libera: Miss Soiree...

Soiree: Heh, what a strange thing. For some reason, I developed this affinity for you. A woman with a mannish personality, and a man who's more beautiful than a woman...

Libera: Indeed. Being such complete opposites... seems to help us get along well. I too, for some reason, ... I feel very close to you.

Soiree: Yeah. I think... we're both the same. That's why, I was hoping that we could be together forever?

Libera: Miss Soiree... Yes, of course.

[spoiler=Soiree x Libera S]Libera: Miss Soiree, if I could have a moment of your time?

Soiree: L, Libera... It's you.

Libera: What seems to be the matter? Your face has reddened quite a bit.

Soiree: What I said to you, back then... When I thought about it afterwards, I was really embarrassed. It was almost as if... yes, it almost sounded like if I was confessing my love for you...

Libera: ... So that wasn't what you meant at the time?

Soiree: T, that's... yes, I suppose so.

Libera: I see... It would seem I made a most embarrassing misunderstanding. To think that, because of my own conceit, I had something like this made...

Soiree: I, isn't that a ring? You were... going to give it to me?

Libera: That was my intent but I beg your pardon. It seems I got too happy with it and let my heart get ahead of itself. If you would excuse me, I'll just go dispose of it.

Soiree: W, wait. If you've already got it then... I'll accept it.

Libera: I did not have this made with the intent to have it or the great significance it bears be accepted out of sympathy. As I thought, I have troubled you with this...

Soiree: Not even I am so naive that I wouldn't know the significance of this ring.

Libera: Then...

Soiree: Finally, I've found the resolve to accept myself as a woman. Let's live as one from now on.

Libera: Yes.

Grego x Ronku support got me curious about Grego x Richt support now. Would anyone be willing to translate that too?

No problem.

[spoiler=Grego x Richt]

[spoiler=Grego x Richt C]Richt: Mr. Grego! Mr. Gregoo~o!

Grego: I can hear ya just fine without all the shouting.

Richt: You see, you see! I had a question for you about the battle from back then! Because I was in the rear, I have no idea what happened on the front lines.

Grego: Huh? You wan' an account of the battle?

Richt: Yeah! That's it!

Grego: I don' mind but, whatcha gonna do with something like that?

Richt: What will I do...? If I have that, my chances for surviving battles will go up, right?

Grego: You're a diligent one. Well, if that's the case then I'll help ya out. In that las' fight, I wen' up against...

Richt: Wait a sec. I don't wanna hear about you, Mr. Grego. What did Mr. Krom do? I want to record Mr. Krom's activites!

Grego: Hey, hey, you like Krom tha' much?

Richt: That's not it! Because Mr. Krom's alwa~ays treating me like a kid, so I wanna collect records of all his battles, and show him just how efficient and grownup I am! Come on then, hurry up and tell me about it!

Grego: I se~e. In other words, you want to be recognized by Krom. Tha' makes me so envious. Everybody adores th' prince alrigh'. Well then, wha' happened that time was...

[spoiler=Grego x Richt B]Richt: Mr. Grego! I have a questio~on!

Grego: He~ey, hey. Don' imitate someone's accent. You wanna know abou that, righ'? You're still recording Krom's battles, yeah? I though' you'd ask me about it again, so this time I paid a lo~ot of attention. A'ight, What d'ya wanna ask about first?

Richt: Actually, I'm not here about Mr. Krom. Tell me about you, Mr. Grego!

Grego: Hu~h? Wha' brought that about?

Richt: I saw a little of your battle from the rear, Mr. Grego. You were so strong! I was really surprised!

Grego: Hmm. By any chance, did ya never see me fight before?

Richt: Ahaha, kind of, yeah.

Grego: Heh, kids really are brutally honest.

Richt: Hmph, don't treat me like a kid! I saw your fight this time so it's fine, isn't it! Even though I hadn't meant to see Mr. Grego's fight, it just caught my eye for some reason. That's not something that happens too often! Mr. Grego, I thought you were amazing!

Grego: Haha, Tha's the first time I've been complimented this much in my life. But it does sting a bit that ya didn't intend to see my battle.

Richt: Ehehe, sorry.

Grego: 's fine. It's best to be honest. So... whatcha wanna ask about first?

Richt: Yup! Let's see...

[spoiler=Grego x Richt A]Grego: Yo~o, Richt.

Richt: Ah, Mr. Grego. Hold on a sec, I'm just finishing up my writing here.

Grego: You still keepin' tha' record of Krom's battles? I thought you'da stopped by now.

Richt: There's no way I'd do that, right? I'm definitely not gonna stop. When I become one of Mr. Krom's aides in the future, it should prove useful.

Grego: Krom's aide, huh. So ya had that kind of ambition. Tha's why ya want Krom to recognize ya. Abou' that, you've stopped coming by and askin' questions recently.

Richt: Ahaha, I guess I did. Were you lonely because I hadn't dropped by?

Grego: What are ya saying? Ya really are a smar' aleck.

Richt: My bad, my bad. But you don't have to worry about that. It's because I've started looking at the front lines by myself.

Grego: ... Ya did that while still coverin' the rear?

Richt: Of course I didn't neglect my duties. If I did something like that, then I'd never be able to become Mr. Krom's aide!

Grego: Tha's true... Seems like ya've learned how to fight and survey the whole battle at the same time. Doin' that while you're so young is really somethin'. Looks like you're gonna be a great aide, Richt.

Richt: Ehehe... really? Hey, wanna see the battle records? Of course, I've also written plenty about you too, Mr. Grego!

Grego: Sounds great. Le's take a look at it.

Because I'm an impatient little pest, I google translated Libera x Mariabel. No, I will not torment you with awful translation. But here's a briefing of it for those interested (probably just me because I'm shipping these two):

Nice, that was actually kinda close.

[spoiler=Mariabel x Libera]

[spoiler=Mariabel x Libera C]Mariabel: Oh my, Mr. Libera. You're here to pray as well?

Libera: Miss Mariabel also came for the prayer?

Mariabel: Yes. It is part of my daily routine.

Libera: That is an admirable dedication. Shall we attend together?

Mariabel: But of course.

Libera: Speaking of which, I must also express my gratitude to you, Miss Mariabel.

Mariabel: To me? ... I'm afraid I don't understand.

Libera: I suppose it couldn't be helped that you would forget... When I was approached by those drunks who thought I was a woman, it is only thanks to you stopping them in their tracks that the evening passed without problems. It is a bit odd for a man to say this but you were very dependable back there.

Mariabel: Ah, that's right. As for that incident, I merely rebuked the actions of a bunch of rash and thoughtless individuals.

Libera: Your remarkable ability to carry out justice and your unflinching heroism saved me. I am truly grateful.

Mariabel: I did not do it out of desire for any reward but... hearing you such words is a great pleasure to me. It drives me more and more to achieve my goals.

Libera: And that is the most important thing of all.

[spoiler=Mariabel x Libera B]Mariabel: This is... quite the difficult problem.

Libera: What seems to be the matter, Miss Mariabel? You almost have smoke coming out of the top of your head.

Mariabel: I was going through this record of past trials but... I came upon a most difficult case and the right answer eludes me.

Libera: What sort of trial is that has troubled you so, Miss Mariabel?

Mariabel: An orphan who was thrown aside by his parents was in need of food, so he stole from an aristocrat.

Libera: An orphan... If that's the case, then there is no need for you to be so conflicted about the verdict. No matter the reason, committing a crime against a noble is a grave sin.

Mariabel: But, if it were the other way around, it would only be considered a minor offense. We cannot call such a thing justice, can we?

Libera: You ... would side with the downtrodden and offer him the impartial judgement of the law?

Mariabel: Naturally. All people must be equal before the law.

Libera: Even an orphan who is desired by no one...?

Mariabel: Most certainly.

Libera: ...To think that there is someone like you...

Mariabel: ? I'm afraid I didn't quite get that.

Libera: I owe you my thanks. You have allowed me... to hear such pristine words. I believe that meeting the owner of such a pure heart will be the salvation for my own heart...

[spoiler=Mariabel x Libera A]Mariabel: Mr. Libera, I have come to a decision. Once this war is over, I shall start a new battle.

Libera: A new battle, you say?

Mariabel: Indeed. As a praetor, I shall protect the rights of the people.

Libera: A battle for the underdog... A noble of your stature would do such a thing?

Mariabel: Yes. I will begin with Iris. Afterwards, I shall strive to save those who are suffering in Felia and Perezia.

Libera: You intend to cross international borders and fight only with the power of the law at hand? That's a little too...

Mariabel: I am well aware that it is reckless. But that is my decision.

Libera: Why, would you choose to pursue such a trying path of your own will?

Mariabel: It is because... your words have made so happy. Your words of gratitude. You said that, I saved you.

Libera: Just because of something like that...

Mariabel: For me, they were life-changing words. And I am truly grateful for you who said those words to me.

[spoiler=Mariabel x Libera S]Libera: Miss Mariabel. About what we discussed a couple of days ago... Are you still determined to follow through with your resolve?

Mariabel: It is my principle to never waver once I have made up my mind.

Libera: That is quite stubborn of you.

Mariabel: I guess I'm not very endearing.

Libera: Actually, that too is part of your charm.

Mariabel: My, you're quite good.

Libera: I assure this is not just empty flattery. I meant it.

Mariabel: Mr. Libera...

Libera: Would you, please marry me?

Mariabel: ... Are you trying to say that I should abandon my dream and join you in matrimony?

Libera: Definitely not. It would be my pleasure to accompany you on your journey. On the path of the dream you have dedicated your life to.

Mariabel: If this is a joke, I'm not smiling... If you are serious then this is even more cause for me not to smile.

Libera: It would be a dreadful shame to not see your smiling face but... I was serious. I have no idea whether or not this could become proof of those feelings or not, but I had this made for you.

Mariabel: ! Is that... a ring?

Libera: Would you please accept it?

Mariabel: ...... This would be... the second time. This is... the second time that your words have changed my life.

Libera: Is it alright with you if I change your life?

Mariabel: If you would... make me happy.

Libera: I promise. I vow before you and the divine dragon Naga...

Brace yourselves, folks. Today I bring you not one, not two, but three supports! Let's start off with one that has been requested quite a bit ago. The masculine woman and the feminine man; Soiree x Libera!

[spoiler=Soiree x Libera]

[spoiler=Soiree x Libera B]Soiree: Libera, wait up a sec.

No problem.

[spoiler=Grego x Richt]

[spoiler=Grego x Richt C]Richt: Mr. Grego! Mr. Gregoo~o!

[spoiler=Grego x Richt B]Richt: Mr. Grego! I have a questio~on!

[spoiler=Grego x Richt A]Grego: Yo~o, Richt.

Nice, that was actually kinda close.

[spoiler=Mariabel x Libera]

Yeah...Ritch is... A bit obsessed with Krom, now imagine him competing with Male MU? It would be hilarious! XD

oK, THAT'S IT, my favorite shipping for Soiree is her and Libera!

HOLOES COLLY! I didn't think that Mariabell would be one of my favorites, but she's quickly raising in my ranks to the "Launcher of Thousands ships" for me!(Well, not at the level of Olivia but...), she's really cool and kind, I like how she can make the word "justice" not look so creesy XD

Oh..Great, now I want to see a support between Male MU and Ritch, I hope it's amusing

Here's MirielxLoran, the mother/son duo which proves that strong minds think alike. Not sure if they are scientists, mages, or pyromaniacs...

[spoiler=Supports (MirielxLoran)]

[spoiler=Supports (MirielxLoran C)]

Loran: Mm-hmm... mm-hmm... I see, so that's it. Many of this period's books remain; I can use them to study. I'll study more. It's only a little, but if I don't catch up to Mother...

Miriel: .........

Loran: Huh...? Mother? Is that thing you are holding in your hand a bottle of alcohol?

Miriel: Yes. Known as Felia's own "Dragon's Breath," it is a strong alcohol.

Loran: Even though it is daytime, you have such a thing... Mother, do you like alcohol?

Miriel: No... It is not like this is for drinking. If I do this...

Loran: Ah... fire?!

Miriel: It is exactly as you heard. A pure, expensive alcohol will ignite... But, why... is the color of the fire blue, I wonder. This is very interesting... Further inspection is necessary.

Loran: It's amazing, Mother. By your own hand, you are trying to discover a new truth. I definitely won't catch up if I only learn knowledge from books... Mother! Please allow me to study that investigation with you!

Miriel: Yes. Together we shall discover the hidden truth of this phenomenon.

[spoiler=Supports (MirielxLoran B)]

Miriel: Put copper salt inside of the fire and... a green fire is born. No matter how many times I observe it, it is truly very interesting...

Loran: In addition, there were other colors that the fire changed to be as well.

Miriel: Yes. To start with, we shall verify that we see a blue flame. 'If it is a strong alcoholic drink, which drink can bring out the blue flame? The drink that is comprised of a power to get people intoxicated may produce a blue color...'1

Loran: I... one thing is on my mind. With a blue flame and a red flame, at the time when the metal is held out, it melts into something different. Perhaps, does the heat of the flame not have something to do with it?

Miriel: I see... I didn't think of that. Assuming... There's no way of knowing if, more than anything else, alcohol ignites by a cooler flame. It is necessary to inspect even more.

Loran: Fufu...

Miriel: Is something wrong?

Loran: Mother looks happy. Even now, Mother has not given perfect proof that she is my mother, but by doing this, I respect Mother more. By that alone I am happy.

Miriel: Surely, the proof that we are parent and child is not yet perfect. However, there is no mistake that you and I will pursue the truth with the same mind.

Loran: Yes, that's right... Whether or not we are parent and child, the bond between us is being born. It could be that that bond is perhaps more valuable than the truth.

Miriel: In addition to that, the one truth is inside of you... probably.

1 While this isn't directly stated that she is recording or reflecting upon this information in some way, I think that Miriel is, based on the speech pattern. Appears more like notes than actual speech.

[spoiler=Supports (MirielxLoran A)]

Loran: Mother, won't you look at this for a minute?

Miriel: This orb... what is it, I wonder?

Loran: It regards the color-changing flame Mother found the other day, but I though it was a little pretty and wondered if it couldn't be used for something. Green, blue, yellow... inside this orb, the various colors of fire and a living thing are stuffed into it. This uses the air as ignition, and multi-colored fire should fill the sky.

Miriel: Well then, an investigation of the truth is not related to the experiment, right?1

Loran: Certainly, that is the case.

Miriel: But most likely this experiment... will paint a beautiful scene, right?

Loran: Y... Yes! I think so too! On a clear night, let's gather everyone and do an experiment.

Miriel: How much practical use does this stored knowledge have... That, also, is one way. Your idea... I did not have it. Loran... That experiment, may I also be allowed to take part in it?

Loran: Yes! I ask of you with pleasure, Mother!

1 The words aren't directly there... but I think this means that Miriel is confirming that Loran will start a new experiment with the orb separate from their previous one with the alcohol. Just giving a disclaimer that I may be assuming a little.

I've been waiting for this. (Well, anything with Loran. :P) Although I'm disappointed that there's really no backstory there. Rather, Loran seems to get backstory in his father support rather than his mother support.

If anything it seems to imply that he and Miriel weren't very close.

It's tough to tell sometimes. Not all of the characters give context as to if they knew their parents or if their parents died too early to form a relationship. Or, if they do give context, we haven't translated the right support for that yet... Some characters seem to have a lot more hang-ups than others about accepting their parents. I guess it depends on the personality. A character like Wood doesn't have the personality to worry about proving whether his parents are his parents, so he just accepts Liz as his mother and the immediately get along. It also helps that Liz was really interested in knowing her son from the future - at the beginning of Wood's "recruiting side-chapter,' she has a conversation with Lucina asking what her future child is like. She really wanted to meet Wood. As for someone like Jerome or Loran, it takes time. Heck, Jerome even refers to his parents on a first-name basis until his A supports with them. Loran is a scientist type like his mother, so the two aren't the type to just accept things. They want to research why everything is the way it is.

On another note, is anyone working on NonoxCallum? I'm thinking about picking that one up in addition to MirielxSol... I also want to do another support with Loran, but I only have a few days before returning to campus for the semester...

Or it's just being shy. Loran isn't the most social person of the group -- Wood, on the other hand, is excitable as hell -- and it's probably hard for him to just up and accept a woman he (potentially) barely knows as his mother. There's that line about "proof". Loran doesn't actually see Miriel as his mother because she's never played that role in his life, whether due to circumstances, or choice. It's not just a desire to research stuff, but a question of breaking a huge mental block that I'm sure a lot of the kids have, but aren't necessarily showing.

Here we have generation two's masked loner and the scientist. Jerome x Loran, everyone!

[spoiler=Jerome x Loran C]Loran: Ah, there he is. Jerome. Do you have a moment?

Jerome: ... What is it, Loran?

Loran: It's the usual report.

Jerome: ... Is that so? Please go ahead.

Loran: Yes. Everyone's physical condition is favorable today. I also found no sign of fights or any other sort of trouble. Moreover, our military munitions are plentiful so we don't have any problems at present.

Jerome: Understood. ... Sorry for always making you go through this.

Loran: Don't worry, keeping track of everybody's physical condition is just part of the job. Furthermore, it is not a particularly difficult task. More importantly though...

Jerome: What's wrong?

Loran: No, it's nothing. Well then, please excuse me.

Jerome: Yeah... Keep up the good work.

[spoiler=Jerome x Loran B]Loran: ... Um, there is no significant problem today. And with this, today's report is concluded.

Jerome: ... Wait a second.

Loran: What is it?

Jerome: In light of today's report, don't you think it would be better if we stock up on arrows a bit?

Loran: Hmm? ... Do you think so?

Jerome: There's a chance that we'll run into aerial units on our campaign so I don't think it'd hurt to have arrows on hand just in case.

Loran: I, I agree! Now that you mention it... Thank you!

Jerome: Other than that, we don't have any real problems, huh. ... That's good news.

Loran: Jerome... You're much kinder than you look.

Jerome: ...What's that supposed to mean?

Loran: Putting aside the fact that you're using me to do it, everyday you ask about everyone and about the army. To think that you'd do that and concern yourself so much with them... You're unexpectedly nice.

Jerome: Don't read too much into this... It'd be troublesome if some problem came up during a battle so I was just trying to avoid that, is all...

Loran: Is that so? I still think you're a nice guy.

Jerome: ......

Loran: However...

Jerome: ...What is it?

Loran: Ah, no... It's no big deal...

Jerome: It doesn't have to be a big deal. After all, you're always helping me out. Just tell me what's wrong.

Loran: It really isn't a big deal though... It's just, I just thought it'd be great if you tried to approach people...

Jerome: What? You want me to... ?

Loran: Yes, you'll understand everyone better if you talk to them in person rather than through me and... You'll also be able to get along better with the others.

Jerome: But, I'm no good at mingling with others...

Loran: Yes, I suppose so... I understand. Well then, I'll be back with the next report...

Jerome: Ah, yeah. Sorry about that...

[spoiler=Jerome x Loran A]Jerome: Loran, can I talk to you for a sec?

Loran: Ah, yes... How unusual. To think that Jerome would come talk to me.

Jerome: Ah, yeah... More importantly, are you about to go check on the troops and their equipment?

Loran: Yes, but...?

Jerome: I'll join you today. Since we're going together, let me help you out.

Loran: Jerome... Are you serious!

Jerome: Yup, I reconsidered after our talk earlier. Relying on you to do it just because I dislike mingling with people... It's rather pathetic...

Loran: No, no... it isn't pathetic at all...

Jerome: I might be a little late doing this now, but I decided to learn from you and try talking with everyone. So, will you let me help out?

Loran: Yes! Please do. And it's not too late at all! Let's go talk to everyone!

Jerome: Let's... Well then, Loran. Please take care of me.

Loran: Yes! Please watch out for me as well.

Hahaha! I was waiting for that support! Jerome and Loran seem to bounce off each other ... in an interesting manner. Jerome's a bit more nicer to Loran than he was to Azure, and it's great to see these guys get along well. Many thanks!
