I wanted to start a new draft, and I've been wanting to do a special theme draft for a while. So here you have it: Guy's Journey Through EHM! Rules are down below.

Drafting:
1. This draft is for 5 players.
2. Eliwood, Hector, Lyn, Guy, Rath, Marcus, Matthew Ninian, and Athos are free.
3. Marcus is banned after chapter 19.
4. Geitz and Wallace are drafted as a pair.
5. Oswin is free for chapter 12.
6. The game will be played on Eliwood Hard Mode, skipping Lyn Mode.[/spoiler]

Rules:
1. Undrafted characters may not be deployed, except to recruit other characters. If they must be deployed to recruit other units, they may only use the "wait" and "talk" function.
2. All Gaiden Chapters except 22x and 26x are required to be visited. 22x and 26x may be visited at the player's discretion, and don't count towards the total turncount up to 20 turns taken per chapter.
3. Other units may do as they please without penalty.
4. Defend chapters count the last played Player Phase for turns if the timer is waited out.
5. Guy and Rath must be recruited, no exceptions, and cannot die.
6. Guy and Rath must be deployed on all chapters after they become available.

Penalties:
1. Undrafted units have a 4 turn penalty, per unit per chapter.

Exceptions:
1. Meatshielding is allowed for Chapter 13x.
2. Lyn, Kent, Sain and Wil are free for Chapter 15.
3. Guy and Rath do not have to be deployed in chapter 28.
4. Undrafted units may trade and shop on chapters where they are forced to be deployed.

Other:
1. An A-support with Guy and Rath will result in 10 turns being subtracted from your final total.

2. PKL: Fiora, Oswin, Lucius, Dorcas, Bartre, Jaffar
1. General Horace: Heath, Sain, Canas, Raven, Vaida, Geitz/Wallace
5. Folgore Yellow: Kent, Erk, Serra, Dart, Wil, Renault
4. Kopfjager: Lowen, Pent, Harken, Louise, Legault, Nino

Chapter 11- 4/4 turns


My skills of luck shine through this early in the game! Also Rebecca netted me an early Dracoshield which will be much appreciated early on, and Marcus carried Eliwood...to victory!

Chapter 12- 5/9 turns

Well, that was easier than I thought. Rebecca went to get the Skill Book and still got a kill! Oh, and Marcus rescued Eliwood Turn 1 and let him tank a group of the bozos on turn 2 while he gallavanted away to take care of the main forces. What a man, that Marcus.

Actually, I think I'll start now.

Chapter 11 - 7/7


Marcus rush. Eliwood kills a few things. Not having Bartre, Dorcas, or Lowen this chapter kind of hurt. Traded Lowen's javelin to Marcus. Fell one space short of seizing on turn 6. Turn 7 seize.


Chapter 12 - 7/14


Marcus charge. Eliwood follow. I get Eliwood enough speed for him to double bandits. Free Oswin does some stuff. Marcus ends up with 3 HP, but still kills the boss. Seven turn rout. Stupid boss wouldn't suicide on Eliwood. >_<


Also, I just realized something. If I had allowed Lyn's mode, I'd have had the advantage because I have Kent, Erk, Serra, and Wil in addition to Rath.

Chapter 13 - 8/22


Took me forever to find a way to recruit Guy and keep everyone alive while going as fast as I can. But somehow, I managed it. Eight turns is the fastest I could manage. I think this is still fast for me.

Chapter 13x - 7/29


Used unequipped Oswin for meatshielding. Someone (I can't remember who) rescued Merlinus. Dorcas was hit by an archer enemy phase, but since he didn't counter that does not earn me a penalty. Eliwood killed Puzon. Serra healed. ... Yeah.
