I haven't played this game, nor do I really know any of the details about the plot, but I think this mysterious "Paris" character is ...
(I would put a spoiler box here but i don't know the code)
The lord in the FE14, potentially.

Actually, that was caused by code tags made for precisely this purpose. My intent was not to show the spoiler tags in use, but to show the code anyone could use to apply them. Which is also available in quotes, but I feel that this method is easier than explaining that.Your spoilers glitched out Othin.

That speculation is actually rather common. I think it'd be odd though, considering how he can have supports unlike the other guest characters.

Some unique class: his sprite looks nothing like any existing character. He has a shield and cape, but I can't see his weapon from the silhouette to tell what it is.Okay, sooo, what's his sprite look like? (Not even remotely hoping for Soldier).
I should note that his hair does not look at all spiky, despite spikes in other characters' hair tending to impact their map sprites' outlines and Ike's hair being spiky.

It's easier to tell with the animation, but he's holding a shield and a sword in the same stance as a Hero (you can see the tip of the sword next to his feet).
Edit: Here's Hero Flavia for comparison:

A: A French Mime who in support conversations complains how no one can pronounce his name correctly along with Guy, Legault, Renault, Lucius, Duessel, L'Arachel, Saleh, Muarim, Haar and probably some other french names too.
B: Paris Hilton. ONly use in game is to give infinite money and then die before she cna spend it.

So he is. That's definitely an added cape, though, which is more than the usual differences between map sprites within a class.http://i.imgur.com/vF2uR.jpg
