Please vote for what YOU think is the best AND worst in the series for this round. Failure to vote for both will result in your vote not being counted. The round will last for about a week or so, after which I will tally the votes, and will add the top three to a list in the opening post of the next topic.

It would be nice if you nominate ideas for when I'm out of them. I'll keep track of the nominations. Please nominate only once a round. You may nominate for idea that have already been nominated.

Please remember to nominate. Also, if your vote is not for one person/thing/etc, it will be thrown out. Your vote will also be thrown out if the FE game it is from is not stated if it is needed. This is mainly to avoid confusion.

If you excessively complain about the results of previous rounds, you will not be allowed to vote in these topics for a period of time that will be determined later. A list will be kept of those who will not be allowed to vote, and how many rounds until they can vote again.

Best: Vantage/First strike (Whatever the skill is called) (No idea why I confused it with Astra there... Derp)

Worst: Ocean Walk (The pirate skill). Why walk on water when I have fliers who aren't slowed down at all?

Worst: Sure Strike. A 100% hit skill on the most accurate class in the game... Talk about redundant. Dishonorable mention to:
FE9/10 Gamble - Halving your hit to double your crit... What part of this is a good idea???
Tempest - ...Ugh. The pain it causes you when you're in low biorhythm is greater than the help you get when you're in high.
FE9 Colossus - Considering Boyd and Largo are killing machines as-is... Yeah. Redundant.
FE9 Parity - It hurts you more than it helps. Wow...
Astra (Tellius Saga) - FE9's Astra gives you 5 half damage hits... Bah. Not like FE10's Astra is much better...
Shriek - Considering that hawks and ravens aren't exactly easy to hit, the 20 capacity cost, and that most ranged attacks are from bows or magic... Useless!

Best: Paragon. Double Exp = :awesome:
Honorable mention to Savior.

Worst: Sure Shot (or whatever it's called, the snipers' skill in FE8)

Sure Shot, Sure Strike - I don't care whatever it's called, it just... blows.

Dishonorable Mentions to FE9/13 Astra

Is FE13's Astra the same as FE9's version?

Best: Paragon/Elite
Honrorary Mentions: All of the FE10 mastery skills except Bane; Weapon Saver, Lightning Speed, Rainbow Cry and FE:A's Counter (which are too new for appreciation here)

Worst: Shriek! Least useful skill to have ever existed. At least Mercy can be used to train weaklings, Corrosion could break strong low-use weapons, and Parity has some minor specific uses. But Shriek only drops an enemy's already low luck to 0 if and only if you leave your hawk/raven to be attacked indirectly and the enemy can hit them. Its activation rate is Luck% and it occupies 20 capacity that could be used on better skills like the also ranged-dependent but damaging Maelstrom, Blossom, Nullify, or even Guard. You're better off selling the scrolls and buying some Olivi Grass or forging some extra Crit on the weapon of the beorc you wanted to Critical the Shrieked-enemy with.
Honorary Mention: FE9!Parity

Best: Lightning Speed
Honorable mention: Rainbow Cry, Dark Blessing, Evil Dragon Scale

Worst: Tempest
Dishonorable mention: Corrosion, Concentration, Skill Cry

FE13 Astra is actually really good. With not wasting weapon durability and with how easy it is to get a Skl stat over 30, it's really no different from the +15 Crit Swordmasters get in other games, except it gets even better at higher levels. Aether is flatly better, but it's really restricted. Of course, Aether/Astra is a beautiful combination for characters who can get it, especially Lucina who can also use Royal Weapon. With that setup, 40 Skl gives a >50% chance of activating one or the other, and that's far from the highest it can get.

Forgot about Sure Strike? Not that Shriek is a bad choice for worst. Oh, and Radiant Dawn's enemies actually have good Luck stats. Incidentally, I'd say Maelstrom's not much better.

Nah, though Sure Strike has a few early-on uses and I don't recall if enemies activate it or not, but if they do, then it's useful to them. Yeah, later on, many have decent luck, but it's not that much that would make it worth taking space from other skills. Maelstrom isn't much better but it at least damages enemies, something immediate and more helpful.

Best: Lightning Speed. I see no flaw with this skill. Get into combat twice, and you, theoretically, get Paragon. All while having double movement (never a bad thing). I wish it would work on a Dancer... badly (oh look, Olivia can go Pegasus Knight. Too bad it only activates after a skill). Seriously though, Lightning Speed is like your permanently attaching a Dancer to a unit, effectively giving you a second dancer. Sooooo overpowered, but soooooo good.

Honorable Mentions: Paragon, Rainbow Cry, Speed Cry, FE10 Nihil, FE9 Resolve, Charisma. There's lots.

Worst: Shreik for reasons already said.

I'm not seeing Sure Strike as useful when its activation rate is level dependent and snipers have good accuracy pretty much 10 times out of 10. It sounds like something that would (and DOES) help the enemy a lot more than it helps the player.
