Your turncounts are looking pretty snazzy. Only thing is that I think that bow forge was...Well, kinda frivilous. Maybe it's just me, but forges just seem like a luxury in this game. Sure, it helps to have awesome slayer weapons, but you can get by without them.

Then again, I hate spending money on things that aren't the arena and stat boosters.


Well, I tried the chapter without the Forge a few times. But I got overwhelmed by the Dracoknights. When you pull one, all come at the same time and I didnt have enough firepower. I then decided to just do what Balcerzak did and forge the awesome Steel Bow.

Thought so. Cord sucks so much that they want to gang up on him :P.

Anyway, I ran into a problem with photobucket so I couldnt update. But I did ch 3 and 3x.

looks like you're rigging lots of Res

also i see a lot of +str/mag and +spd level ups.. hmm. these level ups are a little too good.

Elena got one point of resistance in 9 levels at 10% growth.
Marth got a point of resistance at 5% in two levels.
Palla got a point in two levels with 10% resistance
And catria got two points in 3 levels with 5-10%

I guess by a stretch you could call that rigging.

Marth is like a point above avg. stats at this moment with 40%-50% growths in stats except def/resistance. Luke is a little out of place with speed, but he was reclased to pirate for a number of levels 70% speed growth. The rest aren't all that different. The rest make sense with the reclasses. I just don't see anything weird here that couldn't be good fortune for being like a point above average.

That doesn't strike me as off.

Marth got a point of resistance at 5% in two levels.

... Well I guess maybe you have a chance (Did he have the maturity drop or whatever it's called?)

Palla got a point in two levels with 10% resistance
And catria got two points in 3 levels with 5-10%

... Um.

I guess by a stretch you could call that rigging.

That stretch is about as much as I'm stretching right now to reach my keyboard, which is comfortably within arms reach.

I'm bad at math so I won't try to figure that speed/str bit, but the pegasi are being very 'blessed' at the moment.

I just thought the rigging call-out was unwarranted, and it bothered me. A whole 3 points of resistance in a couple of levels doesn't mean much of anything. When on average of 10 levels you get one point increase, why should it have to happen exactly on the 10th level and cannot happen on the first two levels, then does not happen for for the remainder to average out. And the rest as I said aren't out of place either with reclasses (chosen as they have been so far).

Oh come on, seriously? The most important stat for Catria hasnt proc'd in 2 levels in a row (which is Str at 50% growth) but suddenly, im rigging because she got 2 points of def/res in a row? lol, is all I have to say to that. As for Luke, his growths as pirate: 130% HP, 75% Str, 0% Mag, 40% Skl, 70% Spd, 40% Lck, 25% Def, 0% Res. That hp. 75% Str is crazy and its obviously going to proc most levels. 70% spd is almost the same as FE11 caeda's spd growth, which procs more often than not. As for Marth, he has the Maturity Drop which makes his growths: 110% HP 70% Str 75% Skl 75% Spd 90% Lck 40% Def 15% Res. He proc'd +2 Hp and res in chapter 1 IIRC. But the other stats are to be expected with these growths. :/

Anyway, Im kinda stuck in Chapter 4. I already know what I must do. (Rescue Marth, recruit Castor, recruit sirius and make the axe guys split up so they dont kill everyone in sirius's group). But the guys pack so much MT, that its downright ridiculous. They all have 30 MT or more, while the hunters have 22 MT which is still pretty threatening. I might have to rescue Seraph Robe My Unit over to help Sirius' group. And all my characters have to chug RP, including Sirius mid chapter...

Oh man, I need to undeploy someone to make space for Julian so he can recruit Rickard. Which should get the axe this chapter?

9. Ryan

Im thinking Yumina. Even though 2 healers might come in handy, I really cant undeploy anyone else. I already undeployed Arran for Ogma so he can recruit Barst...Luke needs more training for Armoslayer next chapter. Catria's doubling and lady sword comes in handy. Palla's OHKO'ing of the mages is too clutch to pass up and shes just too good to undeploy. Malicia is better than Yumina so nope. Sirius helps a lot in the same way Palla does, OHKO'ing threatening mages. And Caeda has hax spear and needs more training. Ryan is practically needed for the chapter for the DKs and because he can ORKO anything else except the snipers with an RP use...so yeah, Yumina looks like the best choice. Anyways, I wont be doing the chapter today so Im gonna leave a poll :P

I don't bother recruiting Rickard in chapter 5. I don't think it's possible without putting Julian in range of the snipers, so you need to burn a use of Rescue on him. Just recruit him in chapter 6, where it's much easier. Unless you really want that Master Seal in the secret shop.

You can recruit Rickard on turn 1, but I don't know how hard those mages hit. If it's less than Julian's HP, he'll be fine. If not, get creative, or wait until Chapter 6.

Well, he can reach him with a rescue use but the bolganone mages OHKO julian and hes also in range of the snipers. Horace gave me an idea, and that is to block off rickard's path when in the mountains with a flier. It should work, If I hurry up.

Here's what I do in drafts:

1. Julian can reach Rickard on turn 1; fiddle with his positioning.
2. Recruit Rickard immediately, then have him run elsewhere.

Then you can rescue Julian.

Thing is, Rickard's positioning is slightly higher in H3 than in the other modes. So Julian cant actually reach in turn 1 like he can in H1.
