I know there's already a topic up with some general FE5 questions, but I wasn't sure whether to hijack it with my own questions or start another...sry.

-Has anyone managed to kill Eyval in the ch 5 arena without getting her captured? If she is captured, she is turned to stone like normal, but I haven't been able to get her killed. Incidentally, I also haven't been able to get Galzus to spawn on this map (FE WoD says it happens if 4 other units that are released in the arena are killed, but I haven't seen it happen).

If the carried character's Build is more than half of the user's Build (Build +5 if the user is mounted), Movement is also halved.

-Does this apply for the carried character, the carrying character, or both? I would mess around to find out atm, but I don't actually have a save file that is out-of-doors with lots of characters with varying builds.
-Does anyone know of a chart indicating which civs talk to which armors in chapter 18? I could have sworn I've seen such a thing.

Eyval is immune to dying in other chapters. I don't think she can die here. I have no idea about Galzus.

Mounted characters cannot be rescued unless dismounted.

Yea, Eyvel has a special, invisible version of the Prayer skill that grants her perfect evasion on fatal blows until chapter 24x. She can't die in the arena.

I don't know the trigger for Galzus spawning, but I've definitely seen him and I don't think I killed 4 arena units before his appearance.

I misunderstood the question. I don't know how the mechanics work, but I'd imagine that it's just the carrier, because logically, a heaver character can carry a character than an average character carrying a heavy character.

What I really hate about recruiting Hanibal with this chart is that two civilians look exactly the same.

Eyval was killed by Mareeta in one of my games. -_-!! I reloaded instead of following it up, but I've heard somewhere that the stoning event will still happen and you can still go to the gaiden chapter later to de-stone her. However, she'll die after you de-stone her.

The trigger for Galzus to spawn on chapter 5 is after Eyval kill all three starting enemy combatants in the arena.

Actually I think I remember getting Eyvel to die in the arena and Leidrick had a slightly altered dialogue where he commented that he was disappointed she died so easily.

When Eyval is captured (not killed) Leidrick does voice his disappointment, so you might be thinking about that.

Also, I'm pretty sure (didn't test this recently but) when you open the door, either Beldo or Leidrick is worried about "that woman" coming to kill them, and I always wondered whether they were talking about dark sword Marita or Eyval.
