Should I give it to My Unit right away in Chapter 1 or should I wait until more characters join? Do the characters that join after I give her the Bond Drop still go automatically to A support?

The bond drop actually only works one way. It maxes out the supports the unit receives, but not the supports the unit gives out. So if you use the bond drop on My Unit, she won't boost the rest of your team with an A-support like you think it would. (You can try it yourself if you don't believe me.) My Unit is still a good candidate for the bond drop though, because you're using Luke and Ryan, so your My Unit can receive up to 3 A-supports, from Luke, Ryan, and Marth.

Ah...I see. I thought the others received the bonus too. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I decided to give it to MU.
