iirc they can activate regardless of class but can only be passed down to patty, leen, swordtwins (basically it's hardcoded to the character or something)

that being said i haven't hacked fe4 in forever and a half so i'm very probably wrong

I always liked FinTiltyu, you need to play fast enough to make it interesting, and prayerWrath + Pursuit partially makes up for the lack of magic (I've always found that it's sufficient until endgame). FinBriggid, too.

I believe you're correct, since I gave Skasaha his own class and he still inherited it. My search for free sword skill inheritance shall continue!

How about Noish? With BridgetxHolyn, he's got no partner anymore.
The lack of pursuit will probably stink, but otherwise, the pairing seems fine to me (good skills, good stats, can inherit the weapons).

LachesisxAzel was recommended already, wasn't it? It surely is interesting. Nanna can actually heal this way and Delmud can efficiently use magic swords.

Or maybe make LachesisxArden. Sturdiness and Ambush.

Maybe the patch was about that then? It was something about unlocking the skill limits in any case.

Delmud only has a 15 magic cap though, and 42% growth. 27 might is pretty awful, and that's assuming he hits the cap..

I was thinking of Lachesis x Lex but Tiltyu's taken and her only other option is Fin, and I'm set on giving Ayra to Fin.

Dew is a decent option for Lachesis.

If you want something a bit crackier, Jamka perhaps? Their HP and strength should be good.

Unfortunately they'll also have extremely bad skill and no Pursuit.
