So some troll thought a timed fog of war desert map was a good idea, I would rather abuse save states to pick up the items than do it honestly. Can anyone describe how the RNG for the desert items is set and how to use it?

The map over on the main site says that regular characters have a 1/11 chance of getting an item in one of the specific tiles, Sophia gets the Guiding Ring, and Thieves have a 100% chance of everything except the Guiding Ring. I mostly just use a couple of fliers taking my thief around the stage getting the treasures. It's easier than worrying about RNG to get them.
