I'm wondering what exactly Gimle blood does anyways. All of the other holy bloods did something special, but Lopt. and Gimle only seem to make one posession-bait.

Uh, yeah. He was. We've known that for a while.

And as for the effects of Gimle Holy Blood...

Being really, really competent? Or maybe being a fast learner? I mean, it's not as obvious as getting to swing Falchion around but the ability of MU and his children to swap to any class as they wish is pretty damn gamebreaking. Gimle Major also seems to allow for MU to kill Gimle, which is a handy trait.

Speaking of which, what effect would Holy Blood have on a manakete? If MU marries Nono, Tiki or Nn, then his children (or child) will be Half-Manakete's with Holy Blood. A first for the entire Fire Emblem series.
