Hello. I am Ephidel, Lord Ephidel, LordEphidel, whatever you wish to call me as so long as I know that you are indeed referring to me. I have been been reading through these forums for some time [beginning approximately when Awakening was first announced], though I have only elected to create an account recently. My only contribution thus far has been a single piece of fan fiction that is still in progress, though I do intend to widen my scope of involvement here in the near future.

With the sole exception of Shadow Dragon, I have played and thoroughly enjoyed all of the English Fire Emblem games. My favorite is a close tie between Blazing Sword and Radiant Dawn, for those were the games that included Ephidel, Soren, and Sephiran, my favorite characters by far for using magic and reminding me of myself.

Well met. I truly ought to locate and play some of the older Fire Emblems; I have heard that they were somewhat more difficult than most of the internationally released ones. The only reason that I have not thus far is because using an emulator seems wrong to me, but I will doubtless move beyond such apprehensions eventually. Perhaps if I acquire one in Japanese, then I can pretend to be using it to study the language. At least Awakening shows promise for being more challenging and available.
