What's up? I'm new to this forum but I've used SF before, so thanks to the creators and contributors of the site. I've only played the english released FE games but I am really excited for this new installment. Really hoping it will be out ASAP in 2013 for USA since EU is slated to get it early in the year if I understand things correctly.

About me - I'm an adult player and I'm female. I love strategy games and while I love the gameplay mechanics, I also like the support/partner system probably because the "romance" is so underwhelming and not in your face. For most couples. It's almost like Harvest Moon but with twice the addiction power - at least for people with active imaginations.

I like a lot of other types of games too, and the next couple of games I'm looking forward to are RE6 (hit me up for XBL if you want to do the 6 man co-op), AC3 and Pokemon B/W2 being a distance third.

Welcome to Serenes officially! I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.

I hope FE13 is released asap as well but I still have yet to get a 3DS ^^; nice comparison to harvest moon haha, that's a series I enjoy playing from time to time

thanks for the welcome! and yeah, it was what i thought of that most people here might know. i don't know that others would know of any dating sim/otome games if they are japanese, such as Tokimeki Memorial Series, Uta no Prince-sama, Starry Sky, La Corda D'oro, etc.

I also need to purchase a 3DS but truthfully I'm watching for a sweet bundle to come out so I can have a special one. Would have jumped on Zelda if I didn't already have the original Ocarana of Time game. FE13 special bundle was just *beautiful*.

Hey, welcome to SF! If you're looking for a reason to get OoT3D, it comes with Master Quest after you beat the main game once.

HARVEST MOON: GENEALOGY OF THE HOLY FARM.
Spoiler - FE Seisen Spoilers

Jesus Christ on a Jumbo Cactuar, I didn't know they were going that high with co-op, that sounds amazing. Hopefully I will get a current gen console that will play RE6 by the time it comes out.

Heh, I only played RE1 (as Jill), 4, and 5 so I don't know what Claire is like much. Leon is probably my favorite of the characters I've seen aside from HUNK, he's such a goofball.

you speak blasphemous words, sir.

HOW COULD YOU SKIP EVERY GAME WITH CLAIRE IN IT? щ(゜ロ゜щ)

In all seriousness though, she was Leon's original partner, and Chris' little sister. She's pretty awesome. In terms of fav RE girls it has to be Claire>Sheva>>>Jill/Rebecca/Ada>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ashley

Well, hello new female member and welcome the Serenes Forest Forums! Enjoy your time here!
(I also cannot wait for FE13 btw lol)
Iffy on AC3 though. I really liked the first two. But then the next two got boring and I have now grown to basically hate the series even though I used to love it. Maybe the forest and forts will be a nice change of scenery though. Idk.

Lol Ashley was my favorite once I unlocked KNIGHT ARMOR

I didn't skip them so much as, I was basically introduced to RE by RE4 (which is my favorite of the ones I've played) which my roommate bought for the Wii a few years ago while I was in college. Then I played a friend's copy of RE1 with him and some other friends. Due to RE5's co-op nature I've probably played the single player 4-5 times, each time with a different person, some of them who had played before and some of whom hadn't.

I've played 5 way more than that, even with just the same person. Lots of late nights and herp derp moments with grenades and infinite rocket launchers. I have #4 for PS2 and Wii, and they toned down the difficulty A LOT for the Wii version, it was ridiculous.

And Ashley still manages to die so many disgraceful deaths. =/

A fitting end to a disgraceful life; dawning the armor of a warrior, she was still unable to slay a single beast.
