Final Chapter: The Last Holy War

Notes: Names in italics may also refer to the character’s replacement. Example: Skasaher, what’re you so freaked out about? Here, the name would be Roddlevan if Ira didn’t have children.

Map Opening

At long last, the liberation army neared the final stage of their journey.
The army’s presence continued to instill courage in those still suffering under the empire’s rule, and civilians all over Jugdral rose in revolt.

Silesia was the first to return to the people’s control.

Shortly thereafter, the wave spread to Agustria, spurring the masses to rise and take up arms.

However, the momentum had yet to penetrate Grandbell.
The Grauen Ritter axe brigade under the command of Burian of Dozel, the Beige Ritter archer brigade under the command of Scorpio of Jungby, and the Gelben Ritter thunder brigade under the command of Queen Hilda of Freege were all in top form.
Ishtar and the sinister Prince Yurius, along with the 12 enigmatic Dark Warlords, remained eerily silent at Barhara.

Over a year had passed since the liberation army’s initial uprising in Isaac.
The ongoing conflict tragically split the 12 Crusaders between light and dark as it pitted fellow decendants against one another.
And thus commenced the final holy war…

Opening

(Velthomer)

Yurius:
“My father’s dead, is he…”

Manfroy:
“He was of no use to us any more. The rebel army did us a favour by removing him.”

Yurius:
“Poor father… You used him for all his worth and then left him out there to perish.”

Manfroy:
“It was all for your own good, Your Highness. Alvis may have been of Loputian blood, but he clearly opposed the revival of the old regime. Crusader Fala’s ways ran far too deep with him. He would have turned on us eventually.”

Yurius:
“I know… So it seems the rebel army reached Chalphy. Should that concern me?”

Manfroy:
“I’ve already given orders to Bishop Rodan and Burian of Dozel to retake Chalphy. Rest assured, there’s no cause for alarm.”

Yurius:
“I see… Manfroy, I want to see Yuria. Where is she being kept?”

Manfroy:
“She’s in the dungeon. One moment… Guards, fetch us the Imperial Princess, now!”

Yuria:
“…”

Yurius:
“Greetings, Yuria. Do you remember who I am?”

Yuria:
“…Yurius.”

Yurius:
“Ha! Your memory is still intact… And to think it’s been 7 years.”

Yuria:
“Yes, I remember it all now… …as if it were yesterday.”

Yurius:
“Heh heh… I suppose you’ve some fond memories of your mother, as well.”

Yuria:
“… Just who are you? Everything changed the day Archbishop Manfroy brought that eerie black book in. That day also marks the last I saw of my dear brother… All that remained in his place was this powerful, yet demonic child. You… whoever you are… have deprived me of my mother and my brother, as well! Who are you!? Why must you put me through this agony!?”

Yurius:
“I am the inheritor of the power of the Loputo Clan. This world is my domain. And Yuria, you inherit the power of my mortal enemy… Narga. Therefore, you must die.”

Manfroy:
“Your Highness, wait… I still have a use for the girl. Allow me to finish her off later.”

Yurius:
“Hmm… Better be interesting, Manfroy. Alright, she’s with you. I’m withdrawing to the capital. But be forewarned… one slip up on your part could have far reaching consequences!”

(Edda)

Rodan:
“I’ve orders from His Imperial Highness. Priests and mercenaries… no one gets past you, understood!? And as for the knight brigade, it’s your job to get Chalphy back!”

(Chalphy)

Levin:
“The final holy war is just about under way, Celice.”

Celice:
“Holy war? So this is it, huh…”

Levin:
“Yeah… Yurius turned out to be a descendant of the Loputo Clan. He’s been plotting to restore the dark empire from day one. We’ve got to stop him… no matter what!”

Celice:
“Levin, how do you always seem to know everything? Please… you gotta let me know what else is going on here!”

Levin:
“Celice, I apologise if I’ve kept some things from you in the past. In all my years of travel in search of the truth, I’ve finally stumbled upon something big.”

Celice:
“What is it?”

Levin:
“Legend has it Bishop Galle crossed the sea in his youth and traveled the world before founding the Loputo Empire. He was determined to drink the lifeblood of a legendary creature of the time. One sip promised powers of unimaginable proportions.”

Celice:
“You don’t mean the blood of the Ancient Dragon Tribe!? That’s all superstition, right?”

Levin:
“Yeah, but when Galle returned from his travels, he possessed unexplainable powers. He used his new powers to influence the young to his own devices. Before long he had built up a demonic legion of warriors that followed his every whim.”

Celice:
“So where does Lord Loputousu fit into all this?”

Levin:
“He was most likely of the Dragon Tribe. Their blood flows in all of Galle’s descendants, making the Loputo Clan’s evil power and the Dragon Tribe’s power one and the same.”

Celice:
“Then what of our ancestors, the Crusaders? How did they come to be?”

Levin:
“Well, the legend goes that the gods descended upon 12 warriors of the liberation army. It all took place at Darna Fortress. But, um…”

Celice:
“But what? What happened!?”

Levin:
“Celice, let’s save this one for next time. We’ve got an enemy to confront.”

Conquering Edda (If Claude Had Children)

Levin:
“Edda, huh… It would’ve been so glad if Father Claude was alive…”

Celice:
“Yes… Father Claude died too for the sake of helping my father. But, the Father’s children…”

Levin:
“Ah yes, [Claude’s son] and [Claude’s daughter]. I think they’ll lead Edda in a righteous way. For the citizens of this country, wouldn’t this be the happiest thing?”

Conquering Edda (If Claude Didn’t Have Children)

Levin:
“Edda, huh… It would’ve been so glad if Father Claude was alive…”

Celice:
“Yes… Father Claude died too for the sake of helping my father. But, the Father’s children…”

Levin:
“That’s deplorable, but there’s nobody to succeed House Edda. Celice, from now on, you’ll have to protect it.”

End of the Turn You Conquer Edda

(Dozel)

Burian:
“Fisher, it’s time to make your move on Edda. Now watch as I tear on through to Chalphy! I’m pitting the entire might of the Grauen Ritter against those damn rebels!”

Fisher:
“Understood, sir.”

Conquering Dozel

Levin:
“What a disgrace… It’s hard to believe the Dozels are of Crusader lineage. This all started because of Langobalt…”

Celice:
“Levin, tell me more about the source of the Crusader’s power. I mean… who are the gods anyway?”

Levin:
“Here’s how I understand it… There were beings from another world who knew the Dragon Tribe’s power was responsible for Jugdral’s unrest. So they came from their world to assist us. They were the ones who appeared at Darna Fortress just as it was about to fall.”

Celice:
“That’s the ‘Descent of Lord Narga and the 11 Gods’ from scripture, huh…”

Levin:
“That’s right. They all assumed human forms. Narga, the god of light, appeared as a young maiden, and the fire god Salamand was that of an elderly man. Each god performed blood rites with one of the 12 chosen warriors.”

Celice:
“Blood rites?”

Levin:
“Yes. After making a small cut on their fingertip, they offered their blood to the warriors.”

Celice:
“…!?”

Levin:
“Celice, I’ll just cut to the chase. The gods you and I know from scripture are of the same Dragon Tribe as Loputousu is. So the warriors ingested the blood of the Dragon Tribe and were reborn as the Crusaders. Each Crusader received a weapon sealed with the power of their respective tribesmen. After imparting a few precepts upon the Crusaders, the tribesmen left.”

Celice:
“Wow… so that’s where our power comes from!”

Levin:
“Yet Loputousu’s clan wields the most diabolic power of the entire tribe. King Narga passed his own blood onto the leader of the liberation army, Bishop Heim. That was Narga’s only hope to rival the Loputian power.”

Celice:
“Couldn’t any of the other tribesmen take on Loputousu?”

Levin:
“Doesn’t seem likely. Even with all their power combined, they’d still need Narga’s. Now, Empress Diadora’s children are the only surviving descendants of Heim who would have inherited Narga’s power… But neither you nor Yurius inherited the blood of Narga. But I now know who did. Yurius’ twin sister… Princess Yuria did. She’s the one!”

Celice:
“E, excuse me!?”

Levin:
“The connection kinda threw me at first, too. But, yeah, you’ve got a sister, Celice.”

Celice:
“Yuria’s my sister… Geez, I never would’ve thought…”

Levin:
“This explains her disappearance now, doesn’t it… But, we’ve got to find her. Because we don’t stand a chance against Yurius without her!”

(End of turn, Freege)

Hilda:
“What? Now we’ve lost Dozel!? The whole bloody lot of them are worthless! Hmph… Fine, I’ll handle this myself. Should be simple matter of drawing the rebel army just a wee bit north. I need to get through to Scorpio… Once the Gelben Ritter draw them in, he and the Beige Ritter can flank ’em from the rear. We’ll kill those miscreants… every last one of them!”

Enemy Phase After Getting Near Freege

(Southwestern corner of map, Scorpio appears with some bow knights)

Scorpio:
“Heh… they fell for the trap. Freege’s army appears to be in position. Alright, we’ll cut through these woods and take ’em from behind! Now move!!”

Conquering Freege

Celice:
“Levin, we finally made it to Freege. I wonder how the children at Barhara are holding up… I hope they’re okay.”

Levin:
“Actually, there’s someone here to speak to you about that, Celice.”

Celice:
“Who are you?”

Felipe:
“My name is Felipe. I am a former attendant of His Majesty, Emperor Alvis. I had secret orders from His Majesty to safeguard all the abducted children from Yurius.”

Celice:
“You wh-!? You mean they’re all alright!?”

Felipe:
“That’s correct. They are all safe and sound at the monastery here in town.”

Celice:
“Wow… You sure did a fantastic job keeping that from Hilda.”

Felipe:
“Well… Actually, Princess Ishtar secretly came to our aid in that matter. None of the soldiers came near the monastery for fear of retribution from the princess.”

Celice:
“Princess Ishtar did that!?”

Felipe:
“Her Highness is in truth a”
very caring individual. She took an interest in the children’s welfare right from the start. It was Her Highness after all who coordinated their escape from the Royal Palace.

Celice:
“Is that right… Well, everyone will be glad to know the children are safe. Sir Felipe, please accept my utmost gratitude.”

Levin:
“That’s one objective down. It’s nice to see our struggle is finally starting to pay off.”

Celice:
“But we still haven’t located Yuria. Where could she be…”

Levin:
“Well, she’s not in Freege. So that leaves us with Barhara or Velthomer… one of the two.”

Celice:
“Yuius is in Barhara, isn’t he…”

Levin:
“Yeah. We’ve got to find Yuria before we go there. Because we don’t stand a chance against Yurius without her power.”

Celice:
“But will she want to face Yurius? He’s her own brother…”

Levin:
“… You’re just going to have to get through to her, Celice.”

(End of phase, Barhara)

Ishtar:
“Your Highness, I wish to take the Weissen Ritter out and fortify the palace’s defense. I request your permission to leave the Royal Palace.”

Yurius:
“Hmph… Why do you need to join the battle all of a sudden? They can send as many soldiers as they want. They can’t defeat me… You just stay put.”

Ishtar:
“I mean no disrespect… but do understand I take great pride in being a warlock of Freege. With the murder of my parents and my brother… it pains me to sit here doing nothing. Please allow me to fight!”

Yurius:
“You have a death wish or something, Ishtar? Or are you just trying to elude me?”

Ishtar:
“No… Of course not. I love you, Yurius. You know that.”

Yurius:
“Heh heh… Alright, you do what you want. I’m not stopping you.”

Ishtar:
“Thank you, Your Highness. Meng, Bleg, Maybell… come with me!”

Meng:
“Yes, Your Highness!”

Yurius:
“How about we wrap this up… Have Areone’s mercenary squad set in an attack pattern. Dark Warlords, it’s show time! I’m all through playing. That rebel army is history!!”

(Velthomer)

Manfroy:
“Mwahaha… It’s time, Yuria. Do as I bid thee and dispose of all who defy the empire!”

Yuria:
“Yes… Your Eminence.”

(End of next Player Phase, south of Edda, Areone appears with some dragon knights)

Areone:
“Men, we’ve lost the homeland… Capturing Chalphy Castle shall be the first step in recovering it. Now go forth with the pride that comes with being a Thracian Dragon Knight!!”

Altenna Talks with Areone

Altenna:
“Areone… stop! Just what is it going to take for you to listen to me!?”

Areone:
“Altenna!?”

Altenna:
“You’re such a coward! You’re so caught up in your damn ego that you’ve completely lost track of what’s right!”

Areone:
“So what are you suggesting I do!?”

Altenna:
“Take a look at Prince Celice! Why do you think he’s out here putting his life on the line? Think about it”
for a minute.

Areone:
“So what? He’s in the right and I’m not somehow?”

Altenna:
“Areone… If I can’t get through to you, then just finish me off and move on. My fate is in your hands…”

Areone:
“Altenna… that’s enough. I… I see your point now. My final action as a mercenary shall be for Celi-… No, for you, Altenna. I fight for you.”

Altenna:
“Oh, Areone…”

Celice Talks with Yuria (Manfroy Is Alive)

Celice:
“Yuria! What’s wrong with you!? Come on, snap out of it!”

Yuria:
“Heeeeah… Must..kill..any..who..oppose..us.”

Levin:
“It’s no use, Celice. Black magic has got Yuria’s card. Let’s get Manfroy out of the picture first… Then you can give it another go!”

Celice Talks with Yuria (Manfroy Is Dead)

Celice:
“Yuria!! It’s me, Celice. Come on… snap out of it!”

Yuria:
“… Huh… Celice!? What… what’s going on?”

Celice:
“Manfroy cast a spell on you… He was manipulating you.”

Yuria:
“Oh… Now I remember. Manfroy forced me to go with him…”

Celice:
“I’m so glad you’re safe now, Yuria.”

Yuria:
“Celice, I have something I…”

Celice:
“Don’t worry about it, Yuria. Levin told me everything. I… I feel so bad to you. I really let you down.”

Yuria:
“Not really. For the first time in my life I know what I’m here for. And that’s to fight… I’m not scared anymore, Celice.”

Celice:
“You’re really brave, Yuria, you know that? We’re all behind you on this. I wish things could be different, but we have to face this… We must persevere.”

Conquering Velthomer

Celice:
“Levin, do you really think the Book of Narga is in this castle?”

Levin:
“Yeah, I do. Word is Emperor Alvis removed it from the Royal Palace himself and hid it here. You know, Felipe might know something.”

Felipe:
“I’m fairly certain the book is within the treasure hall, however, we need the key.”

Levin:
“The key? Do you know where it is?”

Felipe:
“I’m quite sure the emperor had the key affixed to Empress Diadora’s circlet. Now if we just knew the whereabouts of that circlet…”

Levin:
“Hmm… The Empress’ circlet…”

Yuria Enters Velthomer

Levin:
“Yuria, here’s the treasure hall. Now see if the ornament on your circlet fits this opening.”

Yuria:
“Okay, I’ll try.”

Levin:
“It worked… Look, there it is! The Book of Narga!! It’s all yours, Yuria!”

Yuria:
“Oh my… What a strange feeling… I feel like I’ve known this book all my life…”

Yurius Defeated (Manfroy Is Alive)

Manfroy:
“W, what’s happening!? Oh no! The life-force of darkness is fading… Nyaagh… Loput… ou… su…”

Yuria:
“Ah… What was I… Ah, Manfroy… his black magic was controlling me. Celice came to my rescue… I’m sure of it!”

Villages

Villager:
“Descendants of the brave ones… Hear my ode to the Crusaders. Wielding the Demon Mistolteen, the Black Knight Hezul assails the darkness Wielding the Divine Balmunk, the Sword Master Odo holds the darkness at bay Wielding the Holy Tailfing, the Holy Knight Baldo shines upon the darkness And with the Book of Narga in hand, Saint Heim prays to the heavens Prayer invokes light, and from the light emerges the white dragon who confronts the dragon of darkness the white and black dragon a seemingly endless battle between darkness and light Shall we be greeted with victory or defeat? Yet fear not in the face of defeat For endless is the source of the light we seek In those who shall succeed us I believe In those who receive the light I believe How ’bout it? Sure soothes the soul if you ask me.”

Villager:
“Hear me, noble ones… it’s up to you to bring meaning to this holy war. You must expend every ounce of your strength and valour in the battle that lies before you. Go forth. Your future awaits you where the two lights meet!”

Conversations

Arthur with Tinny

Arthur:
“Tinny, we’re getting pretty close to mother’s homeland.”

Tinny:
“Yeah… I wish I could be happier about it. What’re you thinking?”

Arthur:
“I’ve resented the Freeges since the day they took you and mother away from me. I can’t tell you how much I’ve wanted to smash their skulls in…”

Tinny:
“But, you know… Uncle Blume, Ishtar, and Ishtor weren’t really that bad… I mean… they were nice to me and mum, at least.”

Arthur:
“It was Hilda, wasn’t it…”

Tinny:
“Uh-huh. I hate her so much, Arthur… I’d kill her myself if I could!”

Arthur:
“Tinny, no one’s ever going to lay a hand on you again. You’ve got my word!”

Amid with Linda

Amid:
“Linda, we’re getting pretty close to mother’s homeland.”

Linda:
“Yeah… I wish I could be happier about it. What’re you thinking?”

Amid:
“I’ve resented the Freeges since the day they took you and mother away from me. I can’t tell you how much I’ve wanted to smash their skulls in…”

Linda:
“Hey Amid, what made mum defect Freege and join Sigurd’s army?”

Amid:
“She joined because her sister died fighting for Sigurd’s army. The two were real close.”

Linda:
“She was our aunt, huh…”

Amid:
“Yeah. I think her name was Tiltyu.”

Linda:
“She died in battle… How sad…”

Tinny with Celice

Tinny:
“Celice…”

Celice:
Tinny! Get back, would you?”

Tinny:
“Please, I want to help out, too!”

Celice:
“I know, but… I just don’t want to lose you!”

Tinny:
“Well, I’m not budging. I’m not letting what happened to Diadora to happen to me too! Please, Celice… Just let me stay near you!”

Celice:
“…Yeah, you’re right. I’m sorry. We do need to stay close, don’t we? C’mon, Tinny. Let’s get going. This is your chance to shine for me.”

Tinny:
“You got it!”

Tinny with Sety

Tinny:
Sety, are you alright?”

Sety:
“Yeah, I’m fine. But you need to watch it, Tinny. This enemy is a tough one.”

Tinny:
“I know. I’ll be safe as long as I’m with you.”

Sety:
“You’re beautiful, Tinny. You know that? You mean the world to me.”

Tinny:
Sety, quit it! You’re embarrassing me…”

Sety:
“Hahaha… Sorry, I just had to say it while I had the chance.”

Tinny:
Sety… be careful.”

Tinny with Leaf

Tinny:
“Leaf, are you alright?”

Leaf:
“Yes, I’m fine. But you need to watch it, Tinny. This enemy is a tough one.”

Tinny:
“I know. I’ll be safe as long as I’m with you.”

Leaf:
“We both need to be careful. We have the great task of re-unifying Thracia before us.”

Tinny:
“I can’t wait to return to Alster. I really want to work for the people when I get back.”

Leaf:
“Not just Alster, Tinny… Remember, you’ll be queen of the New Thracia!”

Tinny:
“That’s right, isn’t it!”

Patty with Celice

Patty:
“Celice, here you go!”

Celice:
“Wow, you made lunch! This is for me, is it? Thanks a lot, Patty.”

Patty:
“…and here’s your drink.”

Celice:
“Wow, really? Geez… thanks! This is just what I needed.”

Patty:
“And this is to top it off… Here.”

Celice:
“Er… what’s this?”

Patty:
“It’s my own home brewed stamina drink. It’ll give you a little boost. Now don’t waste it!”

Celice:
“N, no. I won’t.”

Patty with Shanan

Patty:
“Prince Shanan!”

Shanan:
“Hm…”

Patty:
“What’s wrong with you? Look, I made us lunch.”

Shanan:
“What do you think this is, a picnic or something?”

Patty:
“I know, but I’m bored. There’s nothin’ to do around here.”

Shanan:
“That doesn’t give you the right to get in my way now, does it? We’re on the battlefield here.”

Patty:
“How rude! Do I bother you that much!? …And here I went out of my way to make us lunch. You’ve got some nerve!!”

Shanan:
Patty, look… I’m sorry I said that. Can you forgive me this once?”

Patty:
“Will you eat the lunch then? Really? Oh, I’m so glad! I love you, Shanan!”

Patty with Lester

Patty:
Lester, lunch is ready!”

Lester:
Patty, you made it! Whew… I seriously thought I was going to pass out there.”

Patty:
“I knew you were hurtin’, so I made it jumbo size today. So how is it?”

Lester:
“Superb! Your cooking is the best, Patty!”

Patty:
“Hehe… You know it!”

Daisy with Dimna

Daisy:
“Hey Dimna. What’re you up to?”

Dimna:
“I don’t know… Actually, I’m a little depressed.”

Daisy:
“Why’s that?”

Dimna:
“Don’t you feel like we’re kinda not needed here?”

Daisy:
“Hmm… Now that you say it, I don’t think they need us at all here!”

Dimna:
“That’s just what I mean. Look, I’m going to go back to Isaac and find a regular job.”

Daisy:
“Yeah, I’m pooped. Hey, why don’t we go back together when this is all finished?”

Dimna:
“Look at us… …We’re so hopeless.”

Janne with Leaf

Janne:
“Leaf!”

Leaf:
“Er… Janne? I told you to stay back at the castle.”

Janne:
“But I…”

Leaf:
“Look, anybody not of Crusader blood should not be out here fighting.”

Janne:
“I know… I don’t mean to be a burden on everyone, but can’t I at least use my staff?”

Leaf:
“Hmm, you’ve got a point. Alright… but promise me you’ll stay well clear of any combat. As the queen of the New Thracia, I can’t afford to lose you.”

Janne:
“Don’t worry, Leaf. I promise I’ll be careful.”

Mana with Asaello

Mana:
“Asaello… Look, I know how you feel, but you really should let them handle this.”

Asaello:
“Man, if only I had a little Crusader blood in me… I’d be tearin’ the enemy up!”

Mana:
“Well, lots of us wish we were of Crusader lineage, but look on the bright side. We’ve been fortunate just to be able to come this far. Most commoners like us never get such a chance.”

Asaello:
“Commoners… Life’s so unfair. Everyone else around here is either of royalty or nobility.”

Mana:
“Cheer up, Asaello! You’ve got a whole fan club of kids who are dying for you to get back!”

Asaello:
“Yeah, I guess I can’t complain. I do have you after all, too.”

Mana:
“Hehehe… Asaello…”

Nanna with Celice

Nanna:
“Celice…”

Celice:
Nanna… we’ve still got a tough battle ahead of us, so just play it safe, alright?”

Nanna:
“I will. But you’ve got me worried, Celice. Please, don’t push yourself too hard.”

Celice:
“I know, but we’ve come this far… I just can’t let up now.”

Nanna:
“Well, I’ll do my best to look out for you. You’re always in my prayers, Celice.”

Celice:
“Thanks, Nanna. Believe me, I really appreciate all the times you’ve helped me out.”

Nanna:
“Any time, Celice. Any time…”

Nanna with Aless

Nanna:
“Aless, take it easy out here. You still have a monumental task awaiting you.”

Aless:
“I haven’t forgotten, believe me. I’ve no intention of dying in this war. I will not rest until Agustria has attained the glory my father envisioned for it.”

Nanna:
“I know you can do it, Aless. Your father would be so proud of you…”

Aless:
“But I can’t do it alone, Nanna. I need you.”

Nanna:
“Of course, Aless. My life is yours. I’m not making the same mistake my mother did.”

Aless:
“What… his own sister fell in love with him?”

Nanna:
“Yes… she did. But it’s not all that strange, really. They had different mothers.”

Aless:
“Hey, that reminds me. You and I are cousins, aren’t we…”

Nanna:
“Yeah, that’s right. Hehehe…”

Nanna

with Leaf

Nanna:
“Leaf, when do you think we’ll be through fighting?”

Leaf:
“That’s hard to say… but I can’t help but think that our victory is close at hand.”

Nanna:
“Will we be returning to Lenster after all this?”

Leaf:
“That’s the plan. My father’s dream was to bring peace to the Thracia Peninsula and create one nation. I intend to bring his dream to life, and I’ll need your help to see it through, Nanna.”

Nanna:
“Leaf, wherever you go, I shall follow… even to the ends of the continent.”

Rana with Celice

Rana:
“Celice, we’ve just a little more go…”

Celice:
“Yeah. You’ve meant a lot to me out here, Rana. I really mean that.”

Rana:
“Well, I don’t know if I’ve actually done anything… But I’m content just being by your side.”

Celice:
Rana, we go pretty far back, don’t we… I remember us always hanging out as kids.”

Rana:
“Uh-huh. I have so many good memories from back then, but I never thought you and I…”

Celice:
“But I’ve always liked you, Rana…”

Rana:
“I know… but it’s just hard for me to accept that, Celice. I feel so awful to Yuria…”

Celice:
Rana…”

Rana with Skasaher

Rana:
Skasaher…”

Skasaher:
“What’s up?”

Rana:
“You make me proud, you know that?”

Skasaher:
“Hey, what’re you gettin’ all sentimental on me for?”

Rana:
Skasaher, you promise me you won’t get killed out here, okay?”

Skasaher:
“Don’t you worry… I’d never leave you.”

Rana:
Skasaher… …”

Skasaher:
“…yeah?”

Rana:
“…I love you.”

Rana with Faval

Rana:
“Faval…”

Faval:
“What’s up?”

Rana:
“You make me proud, you know that?”

Faval:
“Hey… why’re you getting all sentimental on me?”

Rana:
“Faval, you promise me you won’t get killed out here, okay?”

Faval:
“Don’t you worry… I’d never leave you.”

Rana:
“Faval… …”

Faval:
“…yeah?”

Rana:
“…I love you.”

Lakche with Celice

Lakche:
“Celice, wait up!”

Celice:
Lakche?”

Lakche:
“I’m coming with you!”

Celice:
“Sure, that’s fine with me. Everything alright?”

Lakche:
“I… I’m just a little scared, that’s all.”

Celice:
“Really? Geez, that sure doesn’t sound like you, Lakche.”

Lakche:
“I just…”

Celice:
“Hey, don’t worry about it. I’d feel better if you were with me anyway.”

Lakche:
“Celice…”

Lakche with Johan

Lakche:
“Johan, you alright?”

Johan:
“I hate to admit it, but even I’m having a hard time keeping up out here. But with your love I shall prevail… you wait and see!”

Lakche:
“…right. Hmph… Well, I fell for you, so I guess I’m stuck with you.”

Johan:
“Love makes no mistakes, my darling. Now let’s see a smile!”

Lakche:
“Sure. You hang in there, Johan.”

Johan:
“Ah… Lakche…”

Lakche with Johalva

Lakche:
“Johalva, you okay?”

Johalva:
“This battle is proving to be a tough one… even for me. At least we got Dozel back… Alright, I’m going back in.”

Lakche:
“You be careful out here! You’re the one who has to get the duchy back on its feet.”

Johalva:
“Yeah, I know… Besides, I’d never get over my father’s and brothers’ deaths if I left things as they are. Lakche, you’re with me on this one, aren’t you?”

Lakche:
“Uh-huh. I guess you could say I sort of owe you.”

Johalva:
“Yeow… that’s my girl! You’re the best, Lakche!”

Lakche:
“Johalva, you freak!”

Lakche with Shanan

Lakche:
“We’ve come pretty far, haven’t we…”

Shanan:
“Yeah, it’s been quite a journey.”

Lakche:
“I wonder how everyone’s doing in Isaac… I hope they’re alright.”

Shanan:
“Sounds like you’re a little homesick, Lakche…”

Lakche:
“Absolutely not! I’m not a child anymore, you know.”

Shanan:
“Heh… Could’ve fooled me.”

Lakche:
“Shanan!!”

Shanan:
“Hahaha… Just calm down, alright? You’re spoiling your good looks.”

Lakche:
“Shanan…”

Fee with Oifey

Fee:
“Oifey, how about I go get a close up on the enemy?”

Oifey:
“That’s not a good idea, Fee. They’d shoot you right out of the sky.”

Fee:
“Oifey.. um…”

Oifey:
“What’s on your mind, Fee?”

Fee:
“It’s really admirable that you’ve devoted your life to keeping Prince Celice safe.”

Oifey:
“Hm… We abandoned Sir Sigurd’s army right at the battle’s peak. It’s not something I’m proud of. But the mission awaiting us was a fate worse than death. That went for your folks as well.”

Fee:
“I feel I’ve gotten to know my parents better recently… like the kind of lives they lived. All the talks we’ve had together have really helped clear up my past, Oifey.”

Oifey:
“Well, Fury helped me out a lot back then. Perhaps I’ve been able to repay some of that debt to her through you.”

Fee:
“I still have so much to learn from you, Oifey. I want to be more grown-up.”

Oifey:
“There’s no need to rush yourself, Fee. That’ll happen in good time.”

Fee:
“Oifey! You gotta let me catch up before you get all old on me!”

Oifey:
“Whoa… Hold on a second there!”

Fee with Celice

Fee:
“Celice, how about I go get a close up on the enemy?”

Celice:
“Forget it, Fee! This battle isn’t like the others. Don’t you dare leave my side!”

Fee:
“If you say so…”

Celice:
Fee, are you worried about Silesia?”

Fee:
“Yeah, a little. It sounds like they all started fighting too.”

Celice:
“The Isaacians staged an uprising. It’s going rather well from the sounds of it.”

Fee:
“Really? I’m so glad to hear it!”

Celice:
“You probably want to get back home, don’t you…”

Fee:
“No way! I’m not leaving your side.”

Celice:
“Wow… Thanks, Fee. I’m glad to hear it.”

Fee:
“Celice… you’re like a dream come true for me. I wanna stay with you forever…”

Fee with Arthur

Fee:
Arthur, what’re you doing?”

Arthur:
“I’m fighting! What’s it look like!? Must be nice to be so carefree all the time.”

Fee:
“Well! It’s nice to see you, too!”

Arthur:
“There you go again. See, it’s no wonder nobody…”

Fee:
“…wants to be around me? Is that what you want to say!? Well, forget you!”

Arthur:
Fee! All I’m saying is people get the wrong impression about you sometimes. But I’m crazy about you…”

Fee:
Arthur… You really mean that?”

Arthur:
“Of course I do. Once this war finishes, you and I are moving back to Silesia.”

Fee:
“Really!? Oh, Arthur! That’d be perfect!”
