Strategy

It doesn’t matter much where you put your units, but here’s your initial location:

ch11n

Now, from here until chapter 14, you’ll be fighting mainly against a variety of dragons and barbarians (think of them as promoted axe fighters). These enemies have high attack, and in the case of dragons, they ignore your defense, so it’s likely your units won’t be able to endure more than one attack. Because of this, you should play more defensively, luring one enemy at a time.

ch112

Now, for this chapter specifically, your troops will be moving slower (except flyers and magic users), so it will take a while. As I said, move carefully so your units don’t get killed in two shots. Wind magic and arrows are effective against the wyverns, and the Lady Sword against the barbarians.

As you advance, make sure you collect the treasure (view Hidden Treasure section), preferably with thieves, as they have 100% chance of getting the treasure.

Finally, as you approach the throne, you’ll face a Berzerker. He has a Master Sword and is incredibly dangerous. Attack him ranged and only melee if absolutely necessary (giving the final blow if your mages didn’t kill him).
