Calculation



A character can only have a maximum of 5 levels of support at once.

  • C is the first level, counting as 1 level of support
  • B is the second level, counting as 2 levels of supports
  • A is the third and final level, counting as 3 levels of supports

Possible combinations can include:

  • 1 A and 1 B
  • 1 A and 2Cs
  • 2 Bs and 1 C

And so on…

These are the individual bonuses for 1 level of support:

Heaven: Accuracy +5
Earth: Avoid +5
Flame: Attack +0.5, Accuracy +2.5
Dark: Attack +0.5, Avoid +2.5
Light: Defence +0.5, Accuracy +2.5
Thunder: Defence +0.5, Avoid +2.5
Water: Attack +0.5, Defence +0.5
Wind: Accuracy +2.5, Avoid +2.5

Note: Attack implies both physical and magical, while Defence also implies the same thing.

Bonuses trigger when the two characters are within 3 squares of each other.

To get the full bonus (for two characters), you must add up the bonuses for both affinities and multiple them by the level of support.

Example

Imagine an A-rank support between Flame and Dark affinity characters.

Full bonus for one level (C) is:

= Attack +0.5, Accuracy +2.5 (from Flame affinity) + Attack +0.5, Avoid +2.5 (from Dark affinity)
= Attack +1, Accuracy +2.5, Avoid +2.5

Full bonus for three levels (A) is:

= 3 x (Attack +1, Accuracy +2.5, Avoid +2.5)
= Attack +3, Accuracy +7.5, Avoid +7.5
= Attack +3, Accuracy +7, Avoid + 7 (final decimals rounded down)
