This past Saturday, the Fire Emblem Cipher team held another successful livestream over NicoNico! Ryota Kawade (Cipher Producer) and Young (Intelligent Systems) were joined once again by Eri Suzuki (voice of Soleil, Delthea, and Emma) to start off the show.
The main focus of the stream was to show off cards from Series 10, Crossroads, which releases this week on 21 September. The set contains cards from Thracia 776, Fates, and Fire Emblem Heroes. We also got to have some fun with a few other guests, and get a few more tidbits of news and art for upcoming Cipher sets and events.
Today, the Fire Emblem Warriors Twitter posted another action-packed trailer, this one featuring all the currently-revealed warriors from Awakening.
The trailer is advertised as “number 1”, so presumably there will be similar trailers for the Fates
and Shadow Dragon
Moving on, Warriors will be coming to TGS (Tokyo Games Show) in Japan between 21st to 24th September. Of note, it will be showcased on Koei Tecmo’s main stage and livestreamed on Niconico on all four days.
According to the stage schedule, there will be announcements of new hero(es) on the 21st and 23rd. Various voice actors, such as for Marth, Xander and Lianna will be present. The other days will feature gameplay and other new information.
Following the release of this week’s Famitsu, the game’s official Japanese website has updated with profiles for male Corrin, Elise and Sakura, as well as screenshots of the badge/emblem and forging systems. Read more
As promised by the official Twitter account, a new trailer for Fire Emblem Warriors has been revealed this week–one that focuses on characters from Awakening.
If you recall, Nintendo/Koei Tecmo accidentally let slip two (or three) new playable characters from Awakening, so the surprise has been slightly ruined. That said, there is one more character revealed who’s not from the aforementioned slip up.
Warning: There are some story spoilers for Awakening.
Recently, Japanese retailers have started taking pre-orders for a wave of new Fire Emblem merchandise arriving some time this August.
First up, we have a collection of 6 cutesy acrylic keyrings featuring the key characters from Fire Emblem Heroes (pun not intended). A box of 6 will set you back 3,888 Yen, which is around 35 USD.
Fans of Heroes with an iPhone may also appreciate the 2-way smartphone case, which will help keep your phone safe during intense strategical bouts. The case by itself costs 4,104 Yen.
For those who desire a more luxurious experience, there’s also a limited edition that includes a hand strap and a snazzy microfibre cloth. This one costs 5,400 Yen, which is around 49 USD.
