Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon Available on WiiU eShop Library

That’s right, folks! Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon, the eleventh installment in the series and the first game released outside of Japan to feature Marth’s journey through Archanea, is finally available internationally on the Wii U Virtual Console!

For $9.99, you can grab a copy of this for yourself. This game is a neat treat, as for those who don’t know, it’s a remake of the very first Fire Emblem game, but improved greatly for the Nintendo DS. Sadly, the Wi-Fi Battle system introduced for the franchise starting with this game is not an available feature, but the game itself is still a fun experience to enjoy.

That’s right! In our excitement for Fire Emblem Fates for North America, we might have not noticed this little treat coming out on the side. Nintendo of Japan has released Fire Emblem Dark Dragon and Sword of Light (Or in English, Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon) to their eShop.

1 (2)For the price of 950 Yen and a Japanese Wii U, this can be yours. It’s not the biggest surprise in the world, but it shows that Fire Emblem still faces enough popularity to have its lesser titles released on eShop, and might mean that remaining regions may see it as well.
