Ophelia: Mother, there you are! The situation is most dire...

Azura: What's wrong, dear?

Ophelia: Deep within me, the greedy beast rumbles. It demands an offering!

Azura: Hmmm, you're hungry? Is that it?

Ophelia: Exactly! You understand me so well.

Azura: Of course, Ophelia. I am a chosen one, after all.

Ophelia: Y-you are?! I always suspected it was true, but... I'm actually a little jealous, Mother. I want to be a chosen one, too. When the stars align and I become one, we can fight side by side!

Azura: Heehee. I look forward to that.

Ophelia: But first, we must overcome this beast within me that cries for nourishment!

Azura: OK, OK. Let's make ourselves something to eat, then.

Ophelia: I can help! What do you want me to do?

Azura: Could you go grab those bowls over there?

Ophelia: Right away! I can already predict that the meal we make with these bowls— AHHH!

Ophelia: Mother! Terrible news! The way these bowls have shattered foretells dire events!

Azura: You know, Ophelia, you should apologize after you break something...

Ophelia: Oh, all right. I'm sorry...

Ophelia: Hrm.

Azura: Is something bothering you, dear?

Ophelia: Ah, Mother. Of course you could tell. Chosen ones see everything, don't they?

Azura: Would you like to talk things out with me? I'm more than happy to listen.

Ophelia: I suppose it couldn't hurt... When I try to look into the future, I can't tell if I'll become a chosen one... Do you really think it will happen?

Azura: What makes you doubt it?

Ophelia: Well, I'm not as strong as you or Father...

Azura: Is that what worries you? Don't worry, my dear. It isn't strength alone that makes you a chosen one.

Ophelia: I guess you're right... But you're so strong, it must have been easy for you to become one, right?

Azura: I wasn't always this strong, Ophelia. It wasn't until I became a chosen one that I grew to be this strong, actually.

Ophelia: Really? I had no idea...

Azura: Do you know who I was chosen by?

Ophelia: Was it fate? Some sort of supreme being? The leader of a mighty kingdom?

Azura: Nothing like that. It was you who made me a chosen one.

Ophelia: What?! How did I do that?

Azura: When you were born into this world, I knew I had to become stronger. I needed to be strong enough to protect you from anything that happened. So don't worry. I'm certain that one day you'll find your reason to be a chosen one.

Ophelia: You're right. Thank you for helping, Mother.

Ophelia: Hi, Mother!

Azura: Hello there, dear. You're looking bright and cheerful today.

Ophelia: I'm feeling bright and cheerful today! And it's all thanks to you! Your kind words cut through the darkness in me, slaying the doubt that lurked there.

Azura: I'm glad to hear it.

Ophelia: Now I am on a quest to fill the space left behind, so I'd like you to teach me! I need to learn anything and everything— battlefield tactics, proper cooking. Whatever knowledge you can spare will help!

Azura: Why the sudden motivation?

Ophelia: Someday I want to be able to impart my knowledge to the next generation. I want to be able to banish the doubt and uncertainty from others, like you! But I won't be able to if I don't grow stronger in the meantime. I need the strength to back up my words! That's the best way to be taken seriously.

Azura: That's very true.

Ophelia: I must become an amazing chosen one, just like you! Teach me everything you know! Knowledge is water, and I am lost in a desert!

Azura: All right. I'll teach you everything then.

Ophelia: Thank you, Mother. What should we start with? Chores?

Azura: Since we're right here, why don't we start with how to clean the dishes?

Ophelia: You mean these dishes? They're just begging to be— OH NO!

Ophelia: Awww. I'm sorry, Mother. I broke another dish...

Azura: It's OK, dear. And look! You apologized right away this time.

Ophelia: Of course I did! A chosen one must never try and hide their mistakes, right?

Azura: Heehee. You're becoming stronger already, dear.
