Caeda and Chris 1

If Chris is male

Chris:
Hmm? What is this? It smells heavenly...

Caeda:
Oh my, Chris. What good timing. I tried to make stew with some leftovers. Would you like to try some?

Chris:
Princess Caeda, you've been cooking?

Caeda:
Yes. I do hope Marth enjoys what I've made.

Chris:
Oh, that is nice of you. Then, if you'll allow me... Ah! It's amazing! It tastes really good.

Caeda:
I'm glad you like it. Do you think Marth will like it too?

Chris:
Without a shadow of a doubt. It's delicious, after all. Though you're the princess of Talys, you're awfully skilled at cooking.

Caeda:
Well, I may be a princess, but my motherland Talys is just a small island nation surrounded by the sea. I played around outside a lot during my childhood days. I hear they often called me a tomboy.

Chris:
I never would have guessed. Oh, by the way...

Caeda:
Hmm?

Chris:
Some time ago, you were our opponent during our training, Princess. I could scarcely believe a princess would fight us... I still remember my amazement at the time.

Caeda:
Oh yes. That time, everyone begged me to quit, but... I suppose I truly am a tomboy, after all?

If Chris is female

Caeda and Chris 2

If Chris is male

Chris:
Hmm, a heavenly smell again... Princess Caeda, are you cooking again?

Caeda:
Yes. Today, I made candy. I was thinking of sharing some with everyone... Here. This is for you, Chris.

Chris:
Thank you. Such an elaborately-crafted candy... I'm sure Prince Marth will be touched, too.

Caeda:
Heehee, thanks.

Chris:
...Maybe I should learn how to cook, too. If I could cook as well as you, Princess, then maybe I'd be able to eat tasty food anywhere, anytime.

Caeda:
Are you bad at cooking, Chris?

Chris:
Sadly, yes. My grandfather told me when I was a child that my cooking tasted like steel...

Caeda:
Oh my gosh.

Chris:
Many times I'd attempt to cook, but... Grandfather always stopped me. When I told him I would become the world's strongest, he'd tell me: "I'm sure you can do it." But when I said I wanted to make dinner, he'd say: "If you must insist, then don't call me grandfather"... just like that.

Caeda:
Oh my.

Chris:
Well, since I'm a man, I figured I'd survive even if I couldn't cook. But, it doesn't stop me being envious of those who can cook like you, Princess.

Caeda:
Then, would you like me to teach you?

Chris:
Really?

Caeda:
Yes, certainly. Cooking is a good talent for men, too.

If Chris is female

Chris:
Oh, a heavenly smell again... Princess Caeda, are you cooking again?

Caeda:
Yes. Today, I made candy. I was thinking of sharing some with everyone... Here. This is for you, Chris.

Chris:

Caeda:
Heehee, thanks.

Chris:
...Maybe I should learn how to cook, too. If I could cook as well as you, Princess, then perhaps I could become a bit more lady-like, maybe...?

When I told him I would become the world's strongest, he'd tell me: "I'm sure you can do it." But when I said I wanted to make dinner, he'd say: "If you must insist, then you must strike me down first"... just like that.

Caeda:
Oh my.

Chris:
Since I was raised like a boy... I don't know how to anything girly. But, I think it'd be wonderful if I could make candies and share them with others as presents...

Caeda:
Gosh. Chris, don't tell me you have eyes for someone?

Chris:
N-no, there's no such person!

Caeda:
You don't need to be embarrassed. We're both girls, remember.

Chris:
Eh-heh, I'm no good with this sort of thing...

Caeda and Chris 3

If Chris is male

Chris:
Princess Caeda, it smells good.

Caeda:
Oh, then it should be done already. Could you please open it?

Chris:
Ahh... Amazing, I can't believe I made this candy...

Caeda:
It's very well done, Chris. Come, let's taste it.

Chris:
Yes!

Caeda:
Then, I shall have one. Oh! This is, how should I say...

Chris:
W-what is it?

Caeda:
... ...Chris, don't worry about this. I believe people mature by repeating mistakes...

Chris:
You don't need to be so polite. You can just say it's bad... D-does it really taste like steel...?

Caeda:
A-a little. No, perhaps not just a little, but... It's alright, Chris. I'm sure you'll do it well someday.

Chris:
Yes m'lady, I'll do my best. You have my thanks, Princess.

Caeda:
Your thanks is undeserved. I, too, enjoy the time I spend with you. Say, Chris. Stay my friend forever. Someday, when this war is over and peace returns... Wouldn't it be nice if we could spend our time... like this, the three of us...?

Chris:
Truly...

If Chris is female

Chris:
Princess Caeda, it smells good.

Caeda:
Oh, then it should be done already. Could you please open it?

Chris:
Wow... Amazing, I can't believe I made this candy...

Caeda:
It's very well done, Chris. Come, let's taste it.

Chris:
Yes!

Caeda:
Then, I shall have one. Oh! This is, how should I say...

Chris:
Yes, I'll do my best. You have my thanks, Princess. It brings me great joy learning from somebody like you...

Caeda:
Your thanks is undeserved. I, too, enjoy the time I spend with you. You may put up a serious front, but you can be rather cute in your own way... Chris, I like you.

Chris:
Princess...

Caeda:
Say, Chris. Stay my friend forever. Someday, when this war is over and peace returns... Wouldn't it be nice if we could spend our time... like this, the three of us...?

Chris:
Truly...
