With the upcoming release of two Fire Emblem games (Genei Ibun Roku #FE in Japan, and Fates in the US), it’s no surprise that some teaser videos of early gameplay would be released. GameXplain managed to get their hands on the English version of Fire Emblem Fates and was kind enough to post roughly 15 minutes of footage from the game’s early stages, bringing us to the Chapter 6 decision.

Voice acting can be heard for Male!Corrin, Yukimura, Mikoto, Hinoka, Azura, Takumi, Sakura, Ryoma, Kaze and Rinkah, Xander, Camilla, Leo, Elise, Garon and Sumiragi (all of these names translated into English as you see above, of course). However, that’s not all we’re privy to.

Of course, we also get a few tidbits if information and confirmed translation for the game’s equipment and classes. For instance, Azura’s class is identified as Songstress, Corrin’s starting dragon stone is identified as Draconic Rage and Ryoma’s personal weapon is the Raijinto.

Of note, we’re given access to the Chapter 5 cutscenes, fully translated in both song and dialogue.

Fans will likely appreciate that the voice acting of the characters from the Super Smash Bros Corrin announcement is not the same as it is in the game itself.

Of course, in other news, Genei Ibun Roku #FE is slated to release later this week in Japan, on 12/26. Expect incoming videos, streams and more as the information we’ve been anxiously waiting for in this controversial but nevertheless still exciting game hit sales immediately after Christmas.
