Less than two weeks remain until Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia launches in the West. Just in case you missed it, here’s a recap of some merchandise-related news that’s been floating about lately.

In the latest Nintendo Minute video, hosts Kit and Krysta do the honours of unboxing the North American Limited Edition. Interesting if you can’t wait to see the contents of your own; a bit melancholic if you wanted one, but they all sold out.

We didn’t want to spoil the surprise too much, so we skipped ahead to see if there was an answer to the big question some fans have been wondering about–indeed, the reversible cover features the original cover artwork from Fire Emblem Gaiden!

Moving on, for those of you in North America or Canada, Gamestop and EB Games are giving away a spectacular-looking “Warring Gods” chrome print if you purchase the standard edition and any DLC pack.

We understand the DLC has been divisive among fans, so this could be problematic for some. However, you don’t need to purchase the pricey Season Pass and can simply purchase, say, the “Rise of the Deliverance” pack, which provides the same savings.

Meanwhile in the UK, if you order the standard edition from the official Nintendo UK store, you can look forward to an exclusive T-shirt featuring Alm and Celica from the game’s cover artwork (although the final design may vary).

Finally, if you decide to give GAME UK your patronage, you can receive a double-sided poster instead. Apparently this offer is only available online, but you can try asking at a store just in case.
