7 August is a huge day for Fire Emblem Heroes! The Version 1.6 update is ready for download. Either load up the app to get the update prompt, or you can download it manually.

Version 1.6 brings a lot of quality of life changes and some exciting updates. For summoning, 4★ and 3★ rates have been swapped for all new banners! Starting today, you will be more likely to summon 4★ heroes, which are stronger and come from a larger pool of characters. All summoners will also get one free summon from every new banner!

The new update also brings some cool new things like Arena Assault, the Catalogue of Heroes, and more Tempest Trials changes. Just in time to enjoy these changes, the Cecilia and Lilina Bound Hero Battle begins today! Defeat them on three different difficulties to win up to nine Orbs. Like GHBs, all four of your heroes must survive these maps to reap the rewards. You can also try your luck at summoning 5★ versions of Cecilia, Lilina, and Roy in the associated Summoning Focus.

The Bound Hero Battle and its banner will be available until 14 August at 6:59am UTC. Don’t forget to enjoy your new, free summon!
