Heroes: Halloween Banner Units Revealed

Fire Emblem Heroes treats us with a surprise trick, the earlier than usual reveal of the Trick or Defeat! banner. Of course, this also means a new paralogue, Trick or Defeat! and new Halloween-themed maps to go with it.

This banner features no new units, but some new niches are filled with the cast, including the elusive Red tome flier (Nowi), the first Armor bow user (Jakob) and the first Armor tome user (Henry), as well a first time effective vs Tomes weapon (Sakura).

Trick or Defeat! is slated to run from beginning of day October 30, until end of day November 28, so there’s plenty of time to try and collect orbs and summon some costumed companions!

Sakura: Gentle Nekomata [Dagger Infantry]

  • Kitty Paddle+
    • Mt 8 | Rng 2 | Eff. vs Tomes
    • After combat, if foe uses magic, foe suffers Def/Res -7 through foe’s next action.
  • Warding Stance 3
    • Grants Res +6 during combat when this unit is attacked.
  • Dagger Valor 3
    • If unit survives, all dagger users on team get 2x SP (doesn’t stack with other Valors).
  • Also comes with Guard 3 and Glacies

Jakob: Devoted Monster [Bow Armor]

  • Monstrous Bow+
    • Mt 12 | Rng 2 | Eff. vs Fliers
    • After combat, bonuses become penalties on all foes within 2 spaces through foe’s next action.
  • Bracing Blow 2
    • Grants Def/Res +4 during combat if unit initiates combat
  • Also comes with Wary Fighter 3 and Ignis.

Henry: Happy Vampire [Green Tome Armor]

  • Spectral Tome+
    • Mt 12 | Rng 2
    • After combat, bonuses become penalties on all foes within 2 spaces through foe’s next action.
  • Also comes with Live for Honor (exclusive previously to Spring Festival Xander), Armor March 3 and Reprisal.

Nowi: Eternal Witch [Red Tome Flier]

  • Grimoire
    • Mt 14 | Rng 2
    • If unit has equal to or greater than 50% HP, unit can move to a space adjacent to an ally within 2 spaces
  • Atk/Red Bond 3
    • Grants Atk/Res +5 to this unit during combat if unit is adjacent to an ally.
  • Also comes with Live for Bounty (exclusive previously to Spring Festival Camilla), Reposition and Hone Fliers.
