Cipher Series 14 Introduction & Pre-Orders + Summer Livestream!

It’s been a fun summer so far for Fire Emblem Cipher! Series 13 had a very successful release, and the Cipher Summer Party is currently in full swing. As of today, we are officially 2 months away from the release of Cipher Series 14! Let’s take a look and see what we know of the set so far.

Cipher Series 14 features characters from Awakening, Tellius (Path of Radiance / Radiant Dawn), Hoshido (from the Birthright path of Fates), and Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE. It releases on 28 September.

Head on below for a further look at the art we’ve seen in the set so far and news for the Summer Livestream. We also have some links to pre-order cards from the set.

Awakening is the game that’s received the most S14 art previews so far. This may mean that it will receive the lion’s share of the set’s cards as well, but we don’t know yet for sure. We should be able to get a better idea of the structure of the set after more of the actual cards have been revealed.

As usual, many of the set’s main and popular characters were revealed first, such as Male Robin, Chrom, and Lucina. In addition to the more traditional Lucina art above, she’s also getting at least one card on horseback.

Aside from Chrom and Robin, only one other first generation character has been shown in S14, Cordelia. Her art was not officially revealed via livestream like many of these other pieces, however. Instead, we got to see some joint art of her flying with her daughter Severa in this Summer Party playmat. This art will almost certainly be used for cards in this set.

Most of the remaining Awakening art we know so far for this set features children units, such as Cynthia, Female Morgan, and Owain.

Rounding out the set is Validar, making his debut, finally, as an Awakening villain in Cipher.

Path of Radiance & Radiant Dawn

The next batch of cards in S14 goes to the Tellius Duology. As usual, Ike takes center stage.

The other Tellius art pieces that we’ve seen so far go to some other members of the Greil Mercenaries: Boyd, Gatrie, Mia, Rolf, and Shinon.

Fates – Hoshido

The Hoshido path of Fates also comes back to Cipher this set. As usual, Male Corrin is the main avatar representative of Hoshido. Similarly, we’ll likely see Female Corrin with Nohr in S15.

As could be expected, the Hoshidan royals will be making an appearance in the set as well. So far, we have art for Ryoma and Hinoka both.

The final two pieces of art for Fates go to Gunter and also a joined-art featuring promoted versions of Hinata and Oboro.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE

TMS#FE was a surprise entry into the set, only revealed during the recent S13 livestream. So far, Itsuki is the only character we’ve seen so far.

Since Cipher Series 14 features Awakening cards but no one from Archanea, we can assume that it will be the same for S14 Mirages and their Masters. As such, Kiria and Eleanora could also appear, but we probably won’t see Tsubasa, Touma, Mamori, or Yashiro until S15. Enemies and other NPCs could still show up, though!

Pre-Orders & Summer Livestream Info

Cipher Series 14 will only be a booster series; there is no ST Deck for this set. You can pre-order booster boxes of S14 already on AmiAmi. Cipher has not yet revealed if there will be any release promos, but it is likely that there will be some, and that AmiAmi will, once again, be a participating retailer.

Additionally, the Cipher Summer Livestream was just announced! It will air on Saturday, 25 August. Ryota Kawade and Young will be hosting once again. So far, we also know two guests: recurring guest Juri Kimura (VA for Mozu and Yuzu) and new guest Nobunaga Shimazaki (VA for Male Corrin).

Like most seasonal stream, this stream will likely focus on showing off card reveals for the next set, S14. We’ll probably also get some new art for S15 and possibly an S16 announcement! They’re always an exciting time.

Based on the livestream date, we can also assume that official card reveals for S14 will start no later than 20 August. Usually we get reveals for at least a week before the opening stream, and approximately a month in total before the set is released.

As always, we’ll continue to share new information as we get it. In the meantime, if you’d like to discuss and speculate about S14, come join us in the Cipher subforum on the forums!

Special Thanks go out to @FECipherFR for providing the higher quality images of Lucina, Chrom, Robin, and Corrin!
