More Japanese Merchandise Coming January 2019

Intelligent Systems is on a roll! It wasn’t too long ago that they announced some new Fire Emblem merchandise for December and they’ve already gone and announced more for the following month: January of 2019.

As before, the merchandise is sadly exclusive to Japan, but if you’re quick, you can find them for pre-order at good import stores like AmiAmi and CDJapan. Below you can find the details in English!

Tin Badges – 600 Yen each (excl. tax)

Surely you must know what these are by now. They’re highly collectible badges (75 mm) in diameter–this time featuring Lilina, Eliwood, Chrom and Lucina.

Just in case you’re confused, that is indeed “Eliwod” on Eliwood’s badge. Since these are sold in Japan, naturally they use the Japanese names and that’s what Eliwood is called in Japan.

Clear File – 350 Yen each (excl. tax)

Again, if you’ve been browsing these posts, you’ve probably seen these a dozen times. They’re thin A4 translucent file holders that are popular among collectors. Two designs are available: Thracia 776 (Leif, Finn and Nanna) and Radiant Dawn (Micaiah and Sothe).

Tapestry – 2,800 Yen (excl. tax)

Last but not least, we have 3 different A2-size tapestries or wall scrolls: The Sacred Stones (featuring Eirika and Ephraim), Elise and Sakura (both from Fates).

The website points out that 2019 is the 15th anniversary of the Japanese version of The Sacred Stones. Wait, has it really been that long? Fingers crossed we’ll finally get an official soundtrack release in 2019 as well!

Anyway, that’s all. But chances are they’ll announce some more stuff in the coming months. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to raid my piggy bank for that Sakura tapestry…
