Four new Laguz heroes are coming soon to Fire Emblem Heroes! Check out the Out of Gallia Preview Trailer below for your first look at Ranulf, Lethe, Mordecai, and Caineghis.
These four heroes are expanding the number and type of Beast allies available in the game. The cat laguz Ranulf and Lethe count as Cavalry units, while tiger Mordecai is Infantry and lion Caineghis is Armored. Furthermore, each unit comes with some impressive weapons and skills. These new heroes will be arriving with a new story chapter as well! Follow along with the Order of Heroes as they head into the Realm of the Dead.
Both the Out of Gallia banner and its accompanying paralogue will be available in just a couple days, starting on Wednesday, 10 April. This banner (and its accompanying Log-In Bonus and Orb Promo) are the last things listed on the current Event Calendar, so we don’t quite know how long it’ll last.
However, the in-game notification confirms that Haar: Black Tempest will be arriving as the next Grand Hero Battle! His battles will start up the day after the new banner is live, Thursday 11 April.
Furthermore, today’s update formally revealed that Forging Bonds: A Trust Earned, starring our new characters, will also be starting on 10 April! Check the in-game notifications for further details.
Ranulf: Friend of Nations:
- Covert Cat Fang (Green Beast, Mt 14): Grants Def+3. If unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Def+3 to unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit during combat. At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to only beast or dragon allies or if unit is not adjacent to any ally, unit transforms (otherwise, unit reverts). If unit transforms, grants Atk+2, and if unit initiates combat, inflicts Atk/Def-4 on foe during combat and foe cannot make a follow-up attack.
- Rally Atk/Def+ (assist): Grants Atk/Def+6 to target ally for 1 turn.
- Chill Atk 3 (B slot): At start of turn, inflicts Atk-7 on foe on the enemy team with the highest Atk through its next action.
- Ward Beasts (C slot): Grants Def/Res+4 to beast allies within 2 spaces during combat.
Lethe: Gallia’s Valkyrie:
- Brazen Cat Fang (Red Beast, Mt 14): Grants Spd+3. If unit is not adjacent to an ally, grants Atk/Spd+6 during combat. At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to only beast or dragon allies or if unit is not adjacent to any ally, unit transforms (otherwise, unit reverts). If unit transforms, grants Atk+2, and if unit initiates combat, inflicts Atk/Def-4 on foe during combat and foe cannot make a follow-up attack.
- Moonbow (Special): Treats foe’s Def/Res as if reduced by 30% during combat.
- Spd/Def Solo 3 (A slot): If unit is not adjacent to an ally, grants ASpd/Def+6 during combat.
- Hone Beasts (C slot): At start of turn, grants Atk/Spd+6 to adjacent beast allies for 1 turn.
Mordecai: Kindhearted Tiger:
- Sabertooth Fang (Blue Beast, Mt 14): Grants Def+3. If a movement Assist skill (like Reposition, Shove, Pivot, etc.) is used by unit or targets unit, inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-4 on foes within 2 spaces of unit and target through their next actions after movement. At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to only beast or dragon allies or if unit is not adjacent to any ally, unit transforms (otherwise, unit reverts). If unit transforms, grants Atk+2 and deals +10 damage when Special trigger.
- Smite (Assist): Pushes target ally 2 spaces away.
- Atk/Def Link 3 (B slot): If a movement Assist skill (like Reposition, Shove, Pivot, etc.) is used by unit or targets unit, grants Atk/Def+6 to unit and target ally or unit and targeting ally for 1 turn.
- Beast Exp. 3 (C slot): While unit lives, all beast allies on team get 2x EXP. (Only highest value applied. Does not stack.)
Caineghis: Gallia’s Lion King:
- Lion King Fang (Colorless Beast, Mt 14): Grants Atk+3. If foe initiates combat, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 during combat. At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to only beast or dragon allies or if unit is not adjacent to any ally, unit transforms (otherwise, unit reverts). If unit transforms, grants Atk+2, and unit can counterattack regardless of foe’s range.
- Distant Def 4 (A slot): If foe initiates combat and uses bow, dagger, magic, or staff, grants Def/Res+8 during combat.
- Bonfire (Special): Boosts damage by 50% of unit’s Def. Distant Def 4 (A slot): If foe initiates combat and uses bow, dagger, magic, or staff, grants Def/Res+8 during combat.
- Vengeful Fighter 3 (B slot): If unit’s HP ≥ 50% and foe initiates combat, grants Special cooldown charge +1 per unit’s attack, and unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack. (Does not stack.)
- Distant Guard 3 (C slot): Allies within 2 spaces gain: “If foe uses bow, dagger, magic, or staff, grants Def/Res+4 during combat.”
