Yesterday revealed to us the “Darkness Within” banner, and today we see its release!
The four featured Heroes on focus are Corrin: Wailing Soul, Berkut: Purgatorial Prince, Tiki: Torpid Dragon, and Mareeta: The Blade’s Pawn.
There will be a Grand Hero Battle coming eventually. You will fight against Delthea: Tatarrah’s Puppet (infantry blue tome), where you will get the chance to earn up to three copies of her.
Click on “Read more” to read up on the stats of the new heroes, as well as details for the new chapter, Forging Bonds, as well as information on the compensation that we will receive for the recent Aether Raids-related bug.
In addition to their movement type, weapon type, and colour which were all revealed in the video, the stats for each unit are as follows (In order of HP, Atk, Spd, Def, Res):
- Corrin: 43, 35, 37, 31, 27.
- Berkut: 40, 35, 17, 35, 30.
- Tiki: 45, 36, 34, 37, 28
- Mareeta: 42, 33, 41, 29, 23.
- Delthea: 41, 36, 33, 19, 28.
The banner begins today, and will end on the 30th of May, 6:59am UTC.
To go alongside the fresh banner of possessed units, we have a new Forging Bonds, complete with individual support stories and a small story featuring Fjorm and the four new entities.

You can play through the mode to earn yourself rewards such as Badges/Great Badges, Summon Tickets, Divine Dew, Feathers, Grails, and new accessories! Play at least once a day for up to seven days between now and the event’s end to earn up to 14 Orbs, too. The event will end on the 24th of May, 6:59am UTC.
Also today comes a new story chapter: Book III, Chapter 7 – “A Home Unknown.”
After following Hel’s forces through the portal, the Askr Trio and Eir find themselves in what can only be described as a near-perfect copy of Askr. Everything looks the same, except everyone’s missing. Sharena’s favourite flowers are strewn all over the place, as if some sort of parade had recently gone by… Or perhaps, a funeral procession for a beloved Princess.
Also, Eir and Lif have a conversation.
One final thing for today: Due to the recent bug in Aether Raids, the developers will be giving out 10 Orbs and 100 Heroic Grails to all players as compensation. No date has been set for distribution, but it will probably be during the next patch that will repair the bug.
Until then, the “rematch” feature in Aether Raids has been disabled, so you can only fight by selecting Battle from the main Aether Raids page.
