Greetings, Fire Emblem Cipher fans! We’re getting closer and closer to the release of Series 17, the most ambitious Cipher set yet! @fecipher has been keeping the hype going with some very exciting twitter reveals over the last week. Felicia from Fates takes the spotlight this week, here with a beautiful signed SR+!
Felicia isn’t the only SR reveal we get this week, too. Navarre, the Scarlet Sword, gets his first SR since all the way back in Series 1. Since then, the only other Navarre card featured his Mirage from TMS#FE.
Speaking of TMS#FE, the spin-off RPG will too be getting some cards this set. Eleonora and her Mirage Virion also appeared over twitter this week!
Four further cards were also revealed via Twitter this week, three of them Rs. It probably comes as no surprise that both Male Corrin and Female Corrin will be appearing this set. However, these avatars are also bucking trends by appearing on the opposite sides of the conflict as usual; this time, M!Corrin is fighting for Nohr while F!Corrin sides with Hoshido.
The final R foil card goes to Leif, appearing here as a Duke Knight in honour of his father Quan. This special “what-if” card also imagine Leif as being able to wield the legendary Gáe Bolg. His advisor, August, gets the final card reveal of the week.
Additionally, the official Cipher site shared some details for the matching ST deck coming out alongside S17! Click on the “Read More” button to check it out.
Here’s the full S17 Deck List as shown over the site. The ★ marks indicate deck-exclusive cards, while the ● indicate which cards will include a holo version.
- ★ Deck-Exclusive Cards: Lucina, Marth, Ike, Ayra, Ryoma, Xander, and Roy. We’ve already seen the first four (check out the links for a refresher), but not the final three.
- ● Holo Cards: Lucina (2 different cards), Marth (2 different cards), Ike, and Roy.
Furthermore, the card list also contains the names of all of the other characters that will appear in the deck. Characters with cards in the deck yet to be revealed include Tiki, Celica, Cordelia, Takumi, Mist, Lilina, Eirika, Seth, Lute, and Arden.
The bottom left image shows a few goodies that will be included in the deck: a playmat, an instruction booklet with the latest rule updates, and a marker card.
That’s all we have for now! Cipher Series 17 will release in just a couple weeks on 27 June. Next week will be the final reveals before the pre-release stream.
