Welcome to a new installment of our weekly recap series of Series 20 of Fire Emblem Cipher, the Japanese trading card game. Launching as a new booster dubbed The Guiding Hand of Dawn, this set features characters from Fates, Path of Radiance, and Radiant Dawn.
In the weeks leading up to its March 19th release, the official Twitter account, @FEcipher, is revealing the latest cards each weekday, and we’ll be looking over them together as an overview of what’s to come!
The first day introduced new cards of Sakura, taking in Nohrian culture as both a Troubadour and Maid. Sakura’s Maid card will be printed as a Rare card, so cross your fingers if you’re pulling from the packs!
Next, we got a look at upcoming cards of Elincia, one of which will be this set’s Super Rare cards! From her perilous beginnings in Path of Radiance to her majestic ascent in Radiant Dawn, Cipher brings back Crimea’s pride and joy with the help of artist Rika Suzuki.
Following that, we were shown a newcomer to Cipher: Ashunera, the creator goddess of Tellius who only appears at the very end of Radiant Dawn, but plays a major role in its backstory. The card depicts her time in antiquity, and in peace with the first people of the land, remembered as the Zunanma.
Afterwards, two new cards were shown of Arthur, taking the mantle as a Knight and General for the first time. As much of an unlucky doom magnet he is, his card as a General is in fact another Rare for the set.
Lastly, two new cards of Hana were showcased. Taking her first flight in Cipher as a Sky Knight and Falcon Knight, she is another Super Rare card of the set. Now she’s just like her liege’s other retainer, Subaki. The cute autograph on the Super Rare is by her voice actress, Yayoi Sugaya.

Here’s an extra find we discovered this week. As pointed out by observant fans, a new card of Mitama as a Witch (as seen in Fates) will also appear in the upcoming booster, according to an official advertisement poster. Fans can look forward to a better look at the card when the set drops later this month.
That’s all for this week’s recap! Check back next week for another round-up of Cipher news.
