Wow, we’re already halfway through 2021. Anyway, we have some new details for the upcoming July version update for Fire Emblem Heroes. You can read all about it via the official website, plus we’ll go over everything right here.

Team Skill Lock

A new button will be added in the team selection screen that allows you to lock the equipped skills and Sacred Seals for all the Heroes in a particular team.

It can be used via:

• Edit Team (also available in multi-map battles)
• Edit Reserve Team(also available in multi-map battles)
• Edit Brigades (only for your own Heroes, not your friends’)
• Form Raiding Party (Aether Raids)

After locking a team in this manner, it won’t be possible to switch in or out Heroes from that team.

Since the lock only applies to skills, you can still change the Hero’s blessing or traits, etc. Also, if you get rid of a Hero or send them to a Reserve barracks, they will disappear from the team.

New Legendary Skills

Legendary Lyn and Robin will be receiving some new skills to make them more competitive.

Lyn: Lady of the Wind

A: Laws of Sacae II – If unit initiates combat or if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+6 during combat, and also, if foe uses sword, lance, axe, dragonstone, or beast damage and unit’s Spd >= foe’s Spd +5, foe cannot counterattack. This skill can only be equipped by its original unit.
C: Joint Drive Spd

Robin: Fell Vessel

A: Dragonskin II – Neutralizes “effective against flying” bonuses. If foe initiates combat or if foe’s HP >= 75% at start of combat, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res +6 to unit during combat and neutralizes foe’s bonuses (from skills like Fortify, Rally, etc.). This skill can only be equipped by its original unit.

Combat Manuals

New events after Version 5.7.0 will hand out Divine Codes (Ephemera 7), which can be exchanged for the following manuals:

• 5-star: Summer Takumi and Summer Ursula
• 4-star: Roy, Soleil, Silas, Seteth and Plegian Kris

Weapon Refinery

Seven more Heroes will benefit from new weapons skills and/or refinery options.

New weapon skill (and refines)

• Masking Axe – Gerome

New weapon refines

• Leiptr – Fjorm
• Huginn’s Egg – Spring Catria
• Stout Tomahawk – Dorcas
• Blizzard: Gunnthra
• Expiration: Legendary Robin and Fallen Robin

Aether Raids

The Dark Shrine (O and D versions) can be upgraded to Level 8.

The Escape Ladder (O) can be upgraded to Level 6. At Level 6, you can regain Aether from losing to Fallen Edelgard up to 6 times.

Also, two new songs can be purchased from the Concert Hall in the Aether Resort:

• “Respite and Sunlight” (Three Houses)
• “Gods, have the Risen spread this far?” (Awakening)

Mjolnir’s Strike

The Winged Summoner can be upgraded to Level 4.

Heroic Grails

These glorious husbands can be redeemed from the Heroic Grails shops:

• Orson: Passion’s Folly
• Zelot: Avowed Groom

Other

A big lock icon will be displayed in the Edit Defensive Team screens in Aether Raids and Mjolnir’s Strike when your team is locked.
