Welcome to possibly the final news article for 2021. Today, the FE Heroes team shared details for next year’s first version update.

Version 6.1.0 will be arriving on 5th or 6th January 2022, depending on your timezone. The biggest new feature is improved skill selection in Hall of Forms.

Hall of Forms

No doubt many of you are tired of seeing the same outdated skills continuously being offered.

Starting in the next Hall of Forms event, there will be improvements to the skill choices available from Floors 13 and above (Infernal difficulty).

Firstly, two skills will be offered each for A, B and C slots. Also, all of the skills will be exclusive skills or skills that cost 240 SP or more.

Legendary Heroes

Two more Legendary Heroes will be receiving new skills.

Eirika: Graceful Resolve

A: Atk/Spd Solo 4
B: Lunar Brace II – Enables [Canto (2)]. Neutralizes effects that guarantee foe’s follow-up attacks and effects that prevent unit’s follow-up attacks during combat. Deals damage = 15% of foe’s Def. This skill can only be equipped by its original unit.

Lucina: Glorious Archer

Assist: Future Vision II – Unit and target ally swap spaces. Inflicts Atk/Def -7 on nearest foes within 4 spaces of both unit and target through their next actions. Grants another action to unit. (Additional action granted once per turn only.) This skill can only be equipped by its original unit.
A: Swift Sparrow 3

Combat Manuals

Events added after Version 6.1.0 will award Divine Codes (Ephemera 1), which can be exchanged for the following limited-time combat manuals:

• 5-star: New Year’s Lethe and Hot-Spring Sakura
• 4-star: Erk, Summer Norne, Camilla, Tanya and Merlinus

Weapon Refinery

An additional 7 Heroes will be receiving new weapon skills. Including Canas, at long last.

• Storm Sieglinde – Legendary Eirika
• Spirit Breath – Halloween Myrrh
• Thögn – Legendary Lucina
• Draconic Rage – Dream Corrin (M) and Dream Corrin (F)

Summoner Duels

Right now, “Double Tap to Wait” is always on during Summoner Duels, even if disabled via the in-game settings. After the update, if “Double Tap to Wait” is off, you will need to tap three times to wait. This will also apply for movement triggered by Canto outside of Summoner Duels as well.

Also, when a communication error happens for you after an opponent surrenders, the game will treat this as a loss for you. After the update, the game will treat this as a win.

Aether Raids

The Escape Ladder (O) can be upgraded to Level 7.

Two new songs can be purchased from the Concert Hall in the Aether Resort:

• “Eyes of Rage” (Radiant Dawn)
• “Bound by Fate (Sakura and Elise)” (Fates)

The latter is a special duet by Sakura and Elise included in the official soundtrack release.

Mjolnir’s Strike

The Deluge Fountain can be upgraded to Level 5.

Heroic Grails

The freebie Heroes for November will be added to the Grail shop:

• Ninja Shamir (TT)
• Bertram (GHB)

Other

A new Skill Search option will be added to the Filter menu, which should make it easier to search for Heroes by skill in the Edit Teams or Inherit Skill screens.

New Memento Events will be added to Heroes Journey.

You’ll be able to change your (Summoner’s) name via the “Edit Profile Card” screen.
