It’s another new month, which means a new version update for FE Heroes isn’t far behind. Version 6.6.0 will be available on 6th on 7th June 2022, depending on your time zone.

As usual, you can find the patch notes via the official site, although we’ll also paraphrase them here, for reference purposes.

Weapon Refinery

Another group of Heroes will benefit from new weapon effects.

• Covert Cat Fang – Ranulf
• Wolfpup Fang – Velouria

Combat Manuals

Events released after Version 6.6.0 will yield Divine Codes (Ephemera 6), which can be exchanged for the following limited-time manuals.

• 5-star: Summer Lute and Summer Gunnthra
• 4-star: New Year’s Kyza, Balthus, Fae, Christmas Ignatz and Klein

Heroes Journey

New Memento event(s) will be added to Heroes Journey.

Summoner Duels

During replays, the text “[Player name]’s move” that appears each time either player makes a move will be removed to shorten the playback time.

“Alter Foe’s Name” will be added to the Settings menu. This will change the opponent’s name in Summoner Duels to “Kiran” instead of their actual name. The effect will also persist for replays saved while this setting was on, even if you disable this setting later.

A new Captain Skill will be added:

Storm of Blows – Neutralizes bonuses of captain’s foes during combat. Captain and allies within 2 spaces of captain make guaranteed follow-up attacks.

It’ll be available from the season beginning 14th June 2022 (UTC).

You’ll be able to increase Favor Level in Favor Battles to 2,000. Likewise, the new cap will apply from the 14th June season.

Arena

From the season beginning 14th June 2022 (UTC), Tiers 12 through 17 will be adjusted so that players within those Tiers are less likely to fall to a lower Tier at the end of each season.

Aether Raids

The Hex Trap can be upgraded to Level 5.

Two new songs will be added to the Concert Hall in the Aether Resort:

• “Agustria Royal Palace” (Genealogy of the Holy War)
• “Your Name Is…” (New Mystery of the Emblem)

Mjolnir’s Strike

The Muspell Pyre can be upgraded to Level 6.

Heroic Grails

Another pair of freebie Heroes will be added to the Grails shop:

• Young Boyd (TT)
• Hilda (GHB)

Other

Idunn’s refined weapon effect will be adjusted so it’s more in line with the non-refined effect.

Demonic Breath – Grants Def+3. Effective against armored foes. If foe initiates combat, if a negative status effect is active on unit at start of
combat, or if unit’s HP < 100% at start of combat, neutralizes penalties on unit and grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 during combat. If foe’s Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe’s Def or Res.

“Merge Heroes w/Lower star Rating” will be added to the Settings menu. This will allow players to, say, merge 3 and 4-star Heroes into 5-star Heroes, which is currently impossible. This setting will be disabled by default, so expect more confused players, but at least there’s a solution!

Bride Tharja’s sprite will be adjusted so it’s more Tharja-like.

The functionality of the Back button on Android phones will be improved. When Auto-Battle is enabled, pressing Back will turn it off. If you press Back when viewing the top level of a menu outside the Home screen, you’ll return to the Home screen, instead of getting the prompt to close the app.
