The preview embargo for Fortune’s Weave just ended, so a whole bunch of new articles and videos are now available. Here, I’ll try to compile all the new and notable information. Plus a few silly screenshots.
Important: There may be spoilers! The previews cover the first 5 chapters, but better to be safe than sorry!
Notes: Articles/videos are in listed in the order I found them. This article may be updated every now and then. Newer information will appear towards the bottom.

IGN
Eshmel’s presence during the past is usually limited to the white bird, but it seems there are key moments where Eshmel can intervene. We saw some similar scenes near the end of the Direct.

Here’s a surprising scene though. I thought Eshmel could only travel back 5 years to the Heroic Games, but this is the incident where Leda’s father was killed, 5 years before the Heroic Games. You can see young Leda.

A bit later on, we see the battle between Dietrich and Anatolia from the debut trailer. This is before Dietrich gets his cloak. When Anatolia is about to defeat Dietrich, Eshmel steps in.

Anatolia asks if Esheml is working with Vritra. Presumably the name of an organisation or person. Also, Anatolia is speaking to someone in hologram form called Katarina. In New Mystery of the Emblem, there’s a strategist called Katarina.

We kind of knew already, but confirmation that Goliath (a recruitable Armored Knight) is the boss of the street fight in Cai’s story. Also, Cai’s Crest of Gautier is known as “Diadem of Duality”. Which is expected, since the crest names only exist in Fodlan.

Here’s another look at the scene where Leda kills one of her enemies. A man named Bjor who knows where to find someone called Balboa. Possibly another person on Leda’s hit list.
Goddess Kalla. She was barely visible in Olympia’s showcase.

These were visible in Troy’s showcase, but here are the statues of the other 4 characters who apparently made the top 8 of the Heroic Games. Bertrand, Talimun, Orchel and Anatolia.
They’re on the side of the bridge opposite the four protagonists.

Eshmel’s Blaze Art is officially Purifying Flash. The spooky guy on the bridge who looks like Talimun is called Lind.

The combat art for Troy’s exclusive Zerberus weapon. Her enemy is a corrupted Theodora, in the Sentinel class. Probably not a unique class. At least Advanced.
After being defeated, Theodora triggers Royal Resolve+. This clip ends before we see what it does, if anything.
Update: I’m dumb. A few helpful folks pointed out that it halves damage. Theodora takes 7 instead of the projected 15 damage.

Leda using Song of Passion. Seems to be her first Blaze Art? Near the top, there’s a portrait for a boss enemy.
Leda and Mu both start of Commoners.
Another boss portrait. A female Armored Knight with the Palma Fighters.

Cai’s first two Blaze Arts. Underworld Burst and Blackfire.
Not sure if this is new, but enemy has a Whirlwind Blade.
Temple knight is called Centurio.
Here’s the northernmost part of the world map. Most of Fodlan is shrouded in fog. Not sure if new, but you can explore Mosa (south-east corner).
Ponytail knight is called Catania. I’m surprised to see her fighting with a bow.

Campfire isn’t just for show. You can eat to restore HP and gain support points.

Orchel and Diego at Dagsion. Diego is acting as a guard for Orchel, so she must be pretty important. We know she’s a Priest, probably from around Saramis.

Better look at Yang Jie, plus his interests and recruitment conditions, etc.
A wandering warrior monk who can both fight and heal. He possesses mysterious techniques.
Likes: Alcohol, tales of old, distant journeys, saving the weak.
Personal ability seems to be Monkly Havoc.
Catania’s profile.
A sterling mercenary with proven skill. She seizes the advantage and raises precision with great speed.
Likes: Sterling wares, sterling people, sterling meals
Personal ability seems to be Punishing Squall. Starts as a Commoner.

Recruitment conditions can vary according to path. For Sofia, the Renown required is different.
A priest who specialises in healing magic and can increase its effects. Has a huge appetite.
Likes: Delicious food, the moment when food is served (and soon vanishes).
Personal ability seems to be Healing Knowledge.
I didn’t realise when Sofia was talking about food when cleaning the Aurora Temple, but she’s a foodie, huh.

At the Obelisk Chamber, you can choose Descend Again to replay the prologue (and create a new Eshmel), while keeping your progress for the four protagonists. You can also change difficulty. However, there seems to be only one save file.
When continuing a protagonist’s story, you can choose to replay from any completed chapter.
Leda’s first few chapters include:
- Part 1 Chapter 1: The Vengeful Dancer
- Part 1 Chapter 2: Battle at Coris Mine
- Part 1 Chapter 3: The Rose of Caelus
Here’s the options available from the Pale Raven’s Perch.

“Feed Pale Raven” triggers a mini-game similar to tea parties in Three Houses, but you’re Eshmel in bird form–and can only respond using bird-like actions. Umm, that’s certainly a choice. Although to be fair, the tea party answers were super random.
Since Switch 2 games can’t be data-mined, there’s no way to obtain the correct answers without trying them all. So, uh, good luck with that.
Nintendo Life
Girl with closed eyes is Sha Lan. As expected, she has the same banner as Anatolia’s clan, Bride of the Pale Raven.
This preview mainly focuses on Theodora’s path.

Theodora’s weapon, Mahadu’s Spear is said to belong to a hero of legend. Presumably the guy on the throne who deteriorates after giving Theodora his arm. It enables the Full Moon combat art.
Scorpion monster called Sandbael.

From later on in the video, this dungeon is the Heretics’ Cave. There’s heretics in Dagda, huh?
Also, Part 1 Chapter 4 of Theodora’s story is Unlikely Allegiance.
Saw this in the IGN preview, but the Crest of Gautier is known as Diadem of Duality in Dagda.
Aurora is the daughter of Yu Phas, the god worshipped by Saramis.

Theodora training with Tobias.
Theodora Authority D unlocks Rein: Inflicts Avo -3 on adjacent foes.
Tobias Axe D+ unlocks Axes Lv. 1: When equipped with an axe, grants Hit +3.

Tempest Spear stats. Less Might than Tempest Lance in Three Houses, but uses less durability.
The man who seems to be the king of Saramis before Theodora presumably overthrows him is Dyan.

Tobias is a Noble.
Spike stats. Slightly weaker than its Three Houses counterpart, but again lower durability cost. There’s also a Half Spike combat art.
Tobias triggering Power Arts at the start of combat. Related to combat arts maybe? Didn’t appear during his showcase. Also, interesting mural in the background.
Commander of the map. Pretty sure they can’t be recruited…
Very interesting comment by Centurio. Despite being a god of the seven temples, Aurora seems to be lower in position compared to the other gods.

Some of the NPCs you need to protect. They ain’t surviving much with that HP!
Striped Wolf portrait.
Very Roman-coded ranks.
Adventure Guide? Looks like a quest system that gives you hints about the game’s various mechanics–and rewards you with Renown.
The symbols indicate what kind of benefits you’ll get by interacting with those mechanics (eg. hearts = gain support points). Split into Dagsion and World Map categories.
Cai is present while Theodora is exploring. Not too surprising, since the other protagonists must be somewhere. It’ll be interesting to interact with them the further into the game you are, when things start getting serious…

Yu Phas had a wedding that was commemorated in Dagda. Well, she does have a daughter. I wonder who she married? Maybe it’s someone we know. Like Dagda the Great? Nah…
When crossing borders, you may get checked by border guards. Not sure what this could lead to. I can imagine you might need to bribe some border guards to cross through. Would be funny if you got stopped for carrying illegal items, like maybe books when entering Saramis!

A bit of info about Links during the dungeon battles.

Looks like a scene near the start of Cai’s story. Castor throws a spear to stop a burglar inside his house. I kind of figured from Bertrand’s conversation with Cai, but Castor is strong.
The thief runs off with a pendant, which should be the one Cai is grasping in this scene. The importance of this pendant is explained in other previews.

Bertrand, the White-Maned Demon making his entrance. It appears he’s very famous.
Also, the axe he’s using seems to be the one he killed Leda’s father with. It’s got the same circular guard.

It’s the blue haired woman from the debut trailer. She knows Bertrand and is surprised he’s still alive. Red-haired guy next to her looks depressed.
I have a pretty good guess what’s happening. In the scene where Leda’s father is killed, Bertrand is wearing a cape with the Arago banner.
Maybe red haired guy and Bertrand are both princes of Arago and Bertrand was blue haired woman’s fiance. But after the incident 5 years ago, Bertrand was presumed dead and she ended up marrying or becoming engaged to red haired guy instead.
Basically a Nyna and Hardin/Camus situation…

I thought so. Bertrand’s opponent is the masked warrior from the debut trailer. I thought he was a generic because of the lack of eyes, but I should’ve known better. Considering there’s at least two other masked characters, including Orchel.
He’s an assassin from Brezarant called Cruaidin.

Here’s a look at Bertrand after he killed Leda’s father. When he didn’t have white hair.
Also, Leda curses him, saying she’ll feed his heart to the god of the underworld. I wonder if this is actually sneaky foreshadowing, because we know Bertrand is very mysterious. He seemingly has Sothis’s axe.
So it’d be ironic if the resurrection of Balor happened because Leda killed Bertrand and they used his heart (the Crest of Flames?) as a catalyst.

When Solel is making his grand speech to open the Heroic Games, there’s a veiled woman smirking at one of his comments. She also appears in other previews.
But I’m more curious about her position. She’s standing above Solel. So she must be pretty important.

Finally, I think this is the scene after Theodora obtains Mahadu’s arm. It looks like it’s outside some ruins–and her retainers ask if she retrieved the arm successfully. We know she was searching for ways to gain power after losing her original arm. Perhaps she learned about Mahadu somehow.
Also, behind her retainers I think is gold mask. Although it might be someone else; it’s hard to tell from afar. In any case, the way he’s standing suggests Theodora’s retainers are trying to hold him back. So maybe they’re trying to fight for Mahadu’s possessions?
Skill Up
Right now, I’m not sure where this is. But Eshmel and Hong Hua are somewhere with advanced technology. More importantly, the “Great Undoing” intrigues me. Is this referring to the cataclysm caused by Sothis in the distant past, which destroyed most of Agartha?
Eshmel exploring a dungeon in the ruined era. This is interesting because Heretics’ Cave is a dungeon from the Heroic Games era, seen in the Nintendo Life preview. So there is some overlap between the locations you visit in both eras.
Fabio is a missionary from the Church of Seiros, but even knows how difficult it will be to convert anyone here to the Church of Seiros. What with gods walking among men.

There are Automata in Dagda, seemingly at Smyrnos’s temple. Also, Smyrnos has a half brother called Credna, presumably another member of the Dagdan pantheon. There’s a Credna’s Temple on the map somewhere.
The half brother is also intriguing. We know that Aurora is the daughter of Yu Phas, a shunned goddess, so the gods’ families are fairly complicated. I’m also wondering if this is related to Yu Phas’s wedding. Like maybe Dagda the Great had multiple wives and Yu Phas was one of them.

Hey, isn’t that… That’s the blue haired lady. So her name is Aswan or maybe it’s an alias.

Some shady looking characters. Gabriel and Iliana. The latter was the woman smirking at Solel during his opening speech. It seems they may be plotting behind Solel.
Also note the bearded guy with a half mask in the background.
Iliana’s teddy bear has the Crest of Gautier all over it. It’s looking like this is a cursed crest in Dagda, so…

Castor chatting with Cai before he got imprisoned. So Cai doesn’t know his mother. Which makes this line from the Direct very peculiar.
That means between this conversation and Castor getting imprisoned, Cai has learned who his mother is. You might have seen this theory in the wild, but I randomly speculated that Aurora could be Cai’s mother. I didn’t actually believe it at the time, but a lot of puzzle pieces are falling in place.

Some more details about the Pale Raven’s Perch menu. Notable Deeds you can earn karma shards for completing achievements.
You can then spend karma shards to unlock “various benefits” via Boons of Salvation.

Dante from the Direct commenting about Cruaidin. She’s referring to Cruadin’s battle with Bertrand. Sounds like Bertrand lost the battle or it was a draw. Which is quite surprising, given how hyped up Bertrand is.
Theodora speaking to an attendant called Kumos. He was in the background while Dyan was speaking, during Bonaventure’s showcase. At the time, I said he was probably a generic character, but he’s actually got a portrait. So I will apologise. I have my doubts that’ll he playable though, but you never know. I didn’t expect Benditz or Goliath to be playable.
Pink haired lady standing next to Leda finally has a name. Maria. She seems disgusted at Talimun, who’s together with Dietrich.
Initially, it seemed she was one of Leda’s allies, but her role may be more shady than that…
I figured as much, but every group in the Heroic Games is assigned a name–a clan name–and it seems you can freely choose it. So Cai’s group is the Ribeira Winds for example. This makes Dietrich’s clan name of House Lamine absolutely hilarious, because he just picks his own house from Fodlan.
Theodora speaking to a commander called Huver. Well, an ex-commander now. I’m guessing this takes place after Theodora wrestles control of Saramis from Dyan.
Not much context here, but Leda deeply regrets something she did. Despite her murderous streak, there is still some humanity left in her.
Here’s the sea monster that attacked Dietrich’s ship and caused him to get marooned at Dagda. Also, his target of revenge. I had a feeling, but it seems to be a dragon, similar to Macuil or Indech. It has the Crest of Blaiddyd.

Maria speaking to a woman wearing a wooden mask called Raksha. Remember this background for later.
Theodora mentioning a “Monarch’s Axe.” The ruler of Saramis must be able to wield it. So far, she only fights with Mahadu’s Spear. This is a long shot, but could that axe be Sothis’s Axe? I mean, just because they’re both axes. Either way, it looks like Bertrand has Sothis’s axe.

So there’s a price to pay for using Mahadu’s arm. The arm eats away at the user’s mind and they only have 10 years to live.
The Mahadu who gave the arm to Theodora could have been one of many owners of the arm. After giving away his arm, Mahadu broke apart. Now it makes slightly more sense. Perhaps his body and soul had been destroyed by the arm long ago, yet it was probably the same arm that was keeping him alive.
Jumping ahead a bit. We see that Theodora isn’t always in the greatest state of mind. She has to violently punch a dummy to let out her anger. Her retainers seem worried about the deterioration of her mind.

Bit more info about Leda’s vihuela. It belonged to someone called Cohen and is apparently known as Obsidian. Also, the city/town that burned down 5 years ago was Cydonia. On the map of Dagda, it seems to be located along the north coast of Arago.
We knew from Bonaventure’s profile that Saramis forbids written language. Initially, I thought it was rule that another country, perhaps the Dagdan Empire, imposed on Saramis, to weaken its culture, for example.
However, it seems to be a rule created by Yu Phas, the goddess of Saramis. This makes me wonder, maybe Yu Phas knew something that everyone else didn’t. Like perhaps written words can be cursed, similar to the blood pact in Radiant Dawn, and could lead to the resurrection of Balor. Just a random idea.

Goliath has a brother figure. Could be this… bold-looking guy called Jester standing next to him. You can get a clearer view of Jester from other previews. Although, honestly, you might not want to…
Not sure if new, but abilities for a Wild Ornius. Presumably the most basic Ornius. Movement +2 sounds pretty useful, especially since Advanced Cavalry classes have 6 Movement.
Here’s another view of the full world map that you can explore. So the Land of Dagda, plus Mosa and some land south of Banbha (unless that’s also part of Mosa).

Balboa, who should be the boss of the mine map in Leda’s story. Their portrait is visible here. They’re also someone that Leda is hunting down, probably on her murder list.
Also, this map features Aragonian soldiers.
Master ability for Gladiator is Attack Basics. The crossed axe and sword skill that’s appeared here and there. Which I originally thought was a -breaker skill.

Dietrich fighting someone called Majide at the tavern. This is before Dietrich has his cloak–and this guy has a very similar cloak. Don’t tell me, this guy is a Heroic Games participant and Dietrich steals his cloak and identity to get into the games.

Fabio commenting about Dietrich’s Hero Relic. This might be already known, but the Answerer is known as the “fell blade”. In the debut trailer, it was erroneously known as a magic sword. Magic and Evil/Fell have the same symbol in Japanese, so which one you use depends on the context. In this case, the sword is evil.
Also, Fabio makes a very good point. Dietrich is walking into Dagsion, home of Nabateans, wielding a sword carved from Nabateans.

Toothpick guy is called Talimun in the English version. I went with Talimoon, because his clan name is moon-themed.
Also, it’s funny how Talimun thinks Dietrich’s name is Fodlan-y.
Interesting scene when touching the Wolf Obelisk. Theodora is helping a defeated Alexandra up. The backdrop looks like the naval battle at the Heroic Games. So is Alexandra fighting with the Silver Knights?

At the Temple Row, one of the services at Smyrnos’s temple is playing with cats. The example image shows Dietrich playing with cats. Far as I know, it’s not mentioned that Dietrich likes playing with cats. However Jeritza, who Dietrich seems to be based on, does like to play with cats.

Some more bird time pics.
Another god of the Dagdan pantheon, Jurah. I think that’s the seven temples all accounted for.
Fortuna, Aurora, Mars, Smyrnos, Kalla, Credna and now Jurah. Hold on, there’s a god with glasses, but that could be Credna, especially if he created the Automata.
Crest of Lamine is known as the Diadem of the Endless at Dagda. Also, the crest animation looks similar to Three Houses–and not evil looking like with Cai and Theodora.
I think that’s Guzran? It’s kind of dark. He triggers Hot-Headed (Hit).
Hong Hua with a mysterious group. First, the bearded guy with the half mask appeared here, with Gabriel and Iliana. Also, the backdrop seems to be the place where Raksha and Maria were talking.
This means two things. This should be Hong Hua in the Heroic Games era. Also, Hong Hua’s group may be connected to Raksha’s and Iliana’s groups. Are they all working behind the scenes to resurrect Balor? Long shot, but are they the Vritra mentioned by Anatolia?

Guy with fur with is called Baozi. Sadly it doesn’t translate to Silver Snow, etc.
He mentions the Ink-Black Wen, which could be the name of Dietrich’s ink black cloak. Also, there are other items like this. Are they handing out cursed items to the Heroic Game participants?
Is this related to the crime(s) that Hong Hua is trying to atone for in the ruined era? Perhaps she knowingly or unknowingly distributed cursed items, which served as catalysts for the resurrection of Balor.
Lastly, here’s the advanced civilisation map from Fabio’s showcase etc. One of the enemies is a Lesser Titanus. Titanus were enemies in Three Houses crafted with Agarthan technology.
We’ll see more of this map in other previews.
GLITCHED
Looks like a skirmish, but interesting to see Underworld enemies in broad daylight. This Skellion has Thirst for Gore, which steals HP when attacking.

Tialla about to be run over by a charioteer. This might be the same scene where Anatolia tries to use her magic to save Tialla, but fails.
Instead, it’s Dietrich who saves the day!

Dietrich and Talimun surrounded by assailants. Dietrich’s sword seems to be reacting to something, potentially Talimun. This leads to Dietrich pointing his sword at Talimun, from the June trailer. Which seems to be Dietrich testing if Talimun is causing the reaction.
I think this eventually leads to this conversation, where Dietrich asks if Talimun possesses anything abnormal.

Dietrich and Talimun are fighting the Order of Mithras in a clash (RPG style battle). Is this right after the above scene? But why is it so dark? I don’t think they’re standing in the shade are they?
Anyway, a few important things. The leader of the enemy group is Maria. Hold on, the lighting during their conversation is identical. So they must take place around the same time.
Talimun’s weapon is the Long-Night Katara, which enables the Siphon Luck combat art. Of note, it’s a cursed weapon.

Talimun has a full Blaze Art gauge like Dietrich and the other four protagonists. So perhaps the other three rivals (Orchel, Anatolia and Bertrand) have a full gauge too. (Well, I know Orchel and Anatolia do.)
Maria’s weapon is Hedagg’s Bow, which is also a cursed weapon. Maria has the Crest of Gautier/Diadem of Duality. It seems like cursed weapons or items may grant the Crest of Gautier. This may include Cai’s pendant and perhaps Theodora’s arm?
Because as it stands, there are way too many people with the Crest of Gautier now–and I’ve even seen Leda with it. So that’s at least four. I wonder if the Crest of Gautier is Balor’s crest?
Not as important, but Bestial Impulse triggers when the phase changes from enemy to player. I assume it’s one of Dietrich’s skills?
Interesting dialogue from Sothis. Is this when she strikes down the unknown person? However, her position is similar to when she’s presumably talking to Eshmel. That said, there’s only so many ways you can sit on a throne.

More shots of Cai’s house being burgled. Actually, it’s not a simple burglary like I thought. There’s multiple intruders and Castor is fighting most of them by himself. Also, Cai is holding a statue that seems to resemble Aurora. It’s not exactly the same though.
You may have seen this floating around. It’s Fodlan, but there’s only one country–the Adrestian Empire. No Faerghus, no Leicester. But there is Garreg Mach.
There’s two possibilities. This a prequel set between the establishment of Garreg Mach in imperial year 185 and the founding of Faerghus in imperial year 751. Which is quite a big time-frame. Considering Seteth’s younger appearance, I’m leaning towards this.
Or it could occur after the end of the Crimson Flower route. However, I’m unsure if Garreg Mach still exists afterwards. More importantly, I don’t think they’d prioritise one route over another. Especially since Crimson Flower is technically a secret route.
Not important, but I found it funny when Esmeralda was introducing Cai and the others to Dietrich.
Two small things. Heretics’ Cave, which you can visit in both the Heroic Games era and the ruined era is located not far from Dagsion. Also, Katarina is the name of a place–and also someone that Anatolia was speaking to.
Early quest list.
Jester, who may be Goliath’s “brother” figure. He has… quite an interesting design. Very punk. If he’s from Albinea, I would laugh so hard.
As expected, Commoners can wield all weapon types, like in Three Houses.
Diviner’s master ability is Magic Basics, which grants Mag and Res +1. Attack Basics probably grants Atk and Def +1 or something.
Boss of the futuristic map from Fabio’s showcase. Hannibal the Elephant Rider. There was also a general called Hannibal in the Jugdral games.

Bunch of skills being triggered. With My Steed and Mounted Push on Io’s side and War-Elephant Boots on the enemy side.

No context, but interesting comments from Fabio. I wonder if he’s talking about the automata?
All Out Gaming
Exploring Cai’s hometown of Ribeira. That’s his house up front.
Stats for Vital Shot, a new Bow combat art. Peter’s personal skill boosts the attack range.

Hong Hua fighting Lind, who’s the boss of the bridge map. He’s wielding a cursed weapon called Dark Angela.

Castor accompanies Cai’s group as a guest for a short while. He’s very strong!
Seems to be the beginning of the ruined era. Looks like the headquarters of the resistance against the Underworld.

The resistance deploying powerful weaponry to fight the Underworld minions.
Exploring a ruined town.
Someone is guarding the underworld gate at Dagsion. Is Lind referring to Balor? I mean, it has to be someone who’s easy to guess.

Corrupted Leda and Dietrich. Seems you fight all four Flame Lords on the bridge map, although I’ve not seen Cai yet.
Leda is a Dancer, wielding Kalla’s Bow. Dancer is an Advanced class between Shido and Warrior here.
Kalla is one of the gods of the Dagdan pantheon. Presumably the owner of the Crest of Dominic, which Leda also has.
A third Blaze Art for Cai, Underworld Inferno. Uh, he’s looking more and more possessed. Kind of scared what future Blaze Arts will do to him…
Update: Thanks to Flamechar33 for pointing it out. This is Cai from the ruined era. You can see bits of ruined Dagsion in the background.
Unsure of the context, but Eshmel is fighting a Virtual Soldier at Dagsion. I’m guessing it’s some kind of training?

Castor and Centurio teasing Cai’s mother. Who is she?!?!?!
Battle between Bertrand and Cruaidin, in-engine. Yeah, don’t think Bertrand is winning here. Well, he is wielding an axe against a sword user. Although weapon triangle doesn’t seem to exist.
Wait a sec, I just realised something. Bertrand’s axe here is an Iron Axe. I just saw a virtual soldier wielding one. The design is very distinctive.
I noted earlier that Bertrand’s axe during his fight against Cruaidin is the same as the one he used to murder Leda’s father. So he murdered him using a plain old Iron Axe…
Crest of Aubin is called Diadem of the Apostle in Dagda. Unlike the Crest of Gautier activation, which looks evil, this one looks holy like Crest of Lamine.
I’m pretty sure the Crest of Aubin is Cai’s natural crest and the Crest of Gautier comes from the cursed gem stuck to his hand.

Theodora seeing red… literally, when Cai stumbles into the middle of her procession. It’s said that Mahadu’s arm will slowly drive the wielder insane. But at the same time, it seems to be Mahadu’s arm that brings Theodora back to her senses. So I’m confused.
Happy Cai. That is all.

Cai meeting Eshmel possibly for the first time. Not quite sure where this is, but Cai seems to be otherwise alone.
Accessory from a treasure chest. Miracle Gem. Prevents damage from enemy attacks with a 3% chance.
Guzran’s nickname seems to be the Unkillable Guzran. I shall put that to the test…
Tialla knows about the old poem, the Herald of the Pale Raven. Well, she has read a lot of books!
Each of the four protagonists has their own set of quirks. Since Cai is underage, he apparently can’t enter taverns, for example.

The moment Cai gets the gem on his hand, after grasping the pendant.

Cai asks his father about the gem. Castor remarks that he looks like an eye. Cai’s epithet is Hell’s-Eye and his dungeon ability uses a third eye.
Wait… If this is a cursed item related to Balor, I wonder if all the cursed items are body parts. Similar to the Hero’s Relics. So Cai’s gem is obviously one of Balor’s eye. Dietrich’s Ink-Black Wen could be Balor’s… skin? Mahadu’s arm could be one of Balor’s arms. Not sure about Leda’s vihuela though.
Since Talimun has a full Blaze Art gauge, he may have another cursed item as well. No idea what though. Maybe Bertrand is the same, but I don’t think we’ve seen his Blaze Art gauge. But if he does have a cursed item, it could be Balor’s heart perhaps? Mainly because Leda said she’d give his heart to the god of the Underworld.

The Mons Uprising, a historical battle re-enacted by Cai, Theodora and Orchel versus the Gaia Brigadiers.
Update: Thanks to Flamechar33 for the correction.
In Dagda year 1232 (around 200 years ago), there was an uprising at the Kingdom of Brezarant. At the fortress city of Mons, fourth prince Helmeric raised an army, supported by the Chetaur people.

Seteth’s character info.
He’s a Commoner with the Crest of Cichol, naturally. His faction is Linaria’s Morning Dew, same as Orchel and I think Diego.
His likes include the wisdom of Seiros and his daughter.
You need Renown Level 10 to recruit him, which seems like a lot!
Cai fighting a Demonic Beast surrounded by blue flames outside the arena at night. No idea what’s the story behind this. But seems pretty early on considering Cai’s Level and the party composition.
GameSpot
Footage from Theodora and Leda’s routes.
Anatolia has the same type of Blaze Art gauge as Eshmel.

This looks like the day that Theodora returns to the capital, Megaira. 3 years before the start of the Heroic Games. She’s speaking to Kumos, who seems to be an attendant.

Here’s the scene where Theodora loses her father and her arm.

This is the guy who killed Theodora’s father and cut off her arm. Oh, I know him.
He’s the boss of the temple map, when Theodora is fighting Underworld soldiers. His name may be Bahr Vahn.
He also seems to be gold mask. Same white face markings and earrings.
Battle in a tavern. Bjor is a boss on the map.
The four protagonists are known as the Flame Lords.
The day Leda’s father was murdered by Bertrand, 5 years before the Heroic Games.

Young Leda. Her real name is officially Leilidahna.

Theodora settling on her clan name. It’s named after a lighthouse at the capital, Megaira.
Leda’s father, Guillermo was originally a legal officer at Dagsion, which is where Buccar met him. But later, Guillermo was appointed viceroy of Cydonia.
Saramis and the forest peoples forbid written language, as ordered by Yu Phas. It seems this rule began during the days of Damascar.
In Nathan’s showcase, we learn that Damascar is a kingdom of “barbarians”, potentially from beyond Dagda. So maybe Saramis was once conquered and ruled by Damascar?
Leda’s fan weapon is officially Lakshashi’s Iron Fan. It seems to grant the Crest of Gautier/Diadem of Duality like other cursed objects. This makes four owners of the Diadem of Duality: Cai, Theodora, Maria and now Leda.

Leda triggers Overblaze, which seems to occur after maxing out the Blaze Arts gauge. There may be information in other previews.
Looks like an early Theodora map, since she doesn’t have her headpiece. Diego is an enemy. Is this when they’re heading to Mahadu’s resting place?
Battle at Kalla’s temple. Looks like Leda and Olympia, the two roses of Caelus, are competing for something. Maybe the right to enter the Heroic Games?
You need to light more beacons than the opposing team.
You get 999 storage space.
Boons of Salvation, accessible via the Pale Raven’s Perch. You can spend karma shards from Notable Deeds etc. to gain experience and proficiency exp bonuses. These apparently apply for all four routes.
Like Theodora and Tobias, Bonaventure is a Noble. Right now, they’re the only Nobles that I know of.

This helpful NPC has some information about the temples. On the lower level are the temples of Credna, Kalla, Yu Phas and Aurora. On the upper level are the temples of Jurah, Solel, Mars and Smyrnos.
At the very top is the temple of Dagda the Great, which is currently used by the Divine Sovereign.
Interesting that Yu Phas has a temple here. So she is or was a member of the Dagdan pantheon. Also, Solel has a temple too. Plus Dagda the Great has one too. Curiously, they don’t mention Fortuna’s temple.
Besides that, the Direct mentioned there are seven temples, which doesn’t quite add up. I’m assuming they meant temples that you can visit. If you check the mini-map above, there’s one temple that can’t be visited, which I’m guessing is Yu Phas’s temple.
Then there’s Solel and Dagda’s temples. I’m assuming one or both of them don’t count. Since both temples belong to Solel and, far as I know, Solel doesn’t grant a blessing. Plus I still haven’t figured out where Fortuna’s temple is, at Dagsion.
New character, Zarcone. He should be in another preview.

Woman with light purple hair is Fianna. She was an enemy on this Theodora map and playable here. As suspected, she has the Crest of Fraldarius.
Her initial class is Commoner. Her clan is Vandales, which may be Vandahl in the English version. During the Direct, Tobias is fighting a Vandahl Merchant, which has the same coat of arms.
Her profile states that she’s a clergy member with a dark aura, who can heal multiple allies at once with her magic. Likes poetry, spicy food, coffee and trustworthy people. Seems pretty fond of Talimun…
Pink haired girl on the same map as Fianna is called Ludia. She is also playable. Interesting that she’s speaking with Ursula.
Update: Flamechar33 reminded me that Ursula’s banner is the same as Fianna’s. So Fianna, Ursula and Ludia are probably in the same clan or group.
To add to that, on the Japanese official site, Talimun’s clan, Moon’s Lie, has the same banner too. So all four of them are probably allies. Previously, Talimun was frequently paired with Ursula, so it was already assumed that those two were allies.

Sirocco fighting a Golden Entombed. It’s a yellow unit that can be attacked by red units. When hit, it triggers a skill.
On the map, Sirocco triggers Grace of the Goddess, recovering 5 HP.
Leda obtains a Black-Magic Manual. Slightly improves Black Magic skill (proficiency) when used. I saw a White-Magic Manual earlier. They seem to be stat-boosters.
ntower
A few bits and bobs.
This is a wide shot of the area where I think Eshmel met Hong Hua. I’m guessing it’s the headquarters of the resistance or maybe one of their bases. There’s a giant dome around the base, but half of it has broken.
Leda’s hit list, after dealing with Bjor. She mentions only two names are left. This should include Balboa. Is the last name Bertrand? But Leda seemed surprise that Bertrand was still alive.
Update: Thanks to Fates for reminding me, the last name could be Lechner. He’s still alive when Leda meets Olympia later on.
We knew about Effective and Effective+, but this explains what’s the difference. Effective is double damage, while Effective+ is triple damage.
Also, Sword deals more damage on follow-up attacks (this has been frequently observed), Lances are Effective versus Cavalry (also known), Axes deal a minimum of 5 damage, Bows are Effective+ versus Flying (standard for the series) and Gauntlets allow for better evasion (explained in the Direct).
Diego while he’s a guest unit when Orchel teams up with Leda and Anatolia to fight the Palma Fighters. He has the same banner as Orchel, naturally.

Some fun surprises.

Sirocco with the Crest of Gautier/Diadem of Duality. This is almost definitely from the Lakshashi’s Iron Fan.
Update: I was too focused on the crest, but mikepal1020 pointed out that a new boss portrait can be seen near the top left corner. Considering the enemies are Lechner’s soldiers, this may be Lechner himself.
Support list. Eshmel appears as a guest unit. Not sure if this means Eshmel is playable or it’s merely for support purposes. Eshmel has been spotted in 1449 fighting a Virtual Soldier in Dagsion.

Scrolling through Leda’s support list. Not all pairs have C, B, A conversations. Some are missing C, some are missing A. Eshmel only has A. Also, there time locked support conversations.
Leda has support conversations with Cai, Dietrich (B and A) and Theodora. Plus someone (pictured right) who’s probably Aswan.
Dining menu. No Eshmel here. Dante’s banner is the same as Bertrand’s.
Eshmel triggering Overblaze.
Small thing, but the priests fighting with Olympia at Kalla’s temple have the Temples of Dagda banner, like Solel and Anna.

More shots of Dietrich on the ship, while it’s capsizing? Moments later, he identifies the dragon with the Crest of Blaiddyd.
You can interact with the statues at Alcineus Span. Wait, is there anyone who’s checked all eight statues?
Cai’s surname is Castor, like his father.
Another yellow undead.
Of course, there are loading screen tips. They feature Eshmel in bird form, in pixel style.

The futuristic ruins seen in Fabio’s showcase etc. The enemies are completely different though. Gone are Hannibal and the Guardian Soldiers.
Instead, it seems your opponents are Anatolia’s group. Which makes sense since Dietrich is seen fighting her here. Is this one map with two rounds?
Near Dietrich are Nezha (easier to tell from this screenshot) and Halvin (see below).
At the top are Anatolia, Sha Lan, guy with forehead markings who appears when Dietrich is fighting Anatolia in the Heroic Games and bearded guy with a scar seen with Theodora and gang. That’s 6 folks who are potentially in Anatolia’s group.
The girl with twin tails is Halvin, a Hunter. No surprise, her banner is the same as Anatolia’s.
Meristation
Just two things.
Cruaidin’s talking portrait. He’s the guy fighting Bertrand at the beginning of the Heroic Games.
Got a name for the female Armoured Knight in the Palma Fighters: Jasmine. Also the woman in heavy armour standing in front of the Arena during the Direct.
CerealKillerz
Hong Hua speaking to Fortuna. The future sounds grim.
Eshmel’s status screen.
Guardian can only wield Lance and Faith. We knew from the Direct that they could use these two, but that’s all they can use.
Crests are known as Bloodmarks. This was observed in Dietrich’s showcase, when the player hovered over the Answerer. At the time, I tentatively called it a blood rune. Rune and mark are synonymous.
Also, Crest of Noa is known as Crest of the Auger in Dagda.
Curiously Eshmel has no personal skill.
Fabio’s full name is Fabio Gil Toro Álvarez.

Some intriguing information from Theodora’s story.
Yu Phas is the wife of Solel. We knew she was married, because there’s a gate commemorating her wedding near Dagsion. At the time, I wondered if she married Dagda the Great. Nah, the wedding was more recent.
Also, we already know Yu Phas is the mother of Aurora. Does that mean Solel is Aurora’s father? Her father could be someone else though. We know Smyrnos and Credna are half-siblings.
Something that I thought of. Solel and Eshmel share the same spear. Also, Solel and Eshmel both like board games. What if Solel is Eshmel’s father?
Now my imagination is going slightly wild. What if the woman holding the baby near the Underworld gate is Yu Phas? Perhaps the baby belongs to her and Solel, in which case it could be Eshmel.
That said, an adult version of Eshmel exists at the same time. So this is impossible, unless there’s some strange time paradox going on… Well, we’ve already had a strange time paradox before in Fire Emblem Awakening, so it’s still plausible!
Besides that, we learn that Dagda the Great almost wiped out the ancestors of Saramis, the “People of the White Egg”. Yu Phas protected them and the survivors went on to form the Kingdom of Damascar.
Damascar is mentioned in Nathan’s showcase, when Dietrich, Orchel and Talimun team up to fight Arago. It’s said to be a land of “barbarians” (probably incredibly biased) who once invaded Dagda.
In Nintendo Dream Web’s preview (I’ll get to that one day), Anatolia (pictured above) is described as a “People of the White Egg”. She claims to have travelled from the west, which may be where Damascar is.
Her clan is also called Bride of the Pale Raven, so she’s loosely connected to Eshmel. …It all goes back to Eshmel, huh?
Finally, Theodora’s goal is to annex Cybele, restore the royal city of Ahm Lu and rebuild Yu Phas’s temple there. On the map from the Japanese official site, Cybele belongs to the Dagdan empire, but it looks like it could’ve belonged to Saramis in the past.
Nintendo Dream Web
Scene from the beginning of the game.
Fortuna states that you, Eshmel, have already died once. Your body is gone and only your heart remains. It then transitions to the Avatar customisation. The idea is that you’re building a new body for Eshmel.
Of note, Hong Hua is in the background, along with someone wearing white. Could they be the Lord Xenon mentioned by Hong Hua, when she’s introducing Troy?
Hong Hua says she’ll guide Eshmel to Dagsion, where Fortuna awaits. It seems like Fortuna went on ahead, for some reason.
I’m guessing this is some time after Eshmel is created. Even though Hong Hua was in the background while Eshmel was being created, I’m pretty sure the first time they meet is when Hong Hua is on the battlefield. After Eshmel saves Hong Hua, she seems shocked, as if it’s the first time she met them.
I saw glimpses in other previews, but I’m guessing the facility gets attacked while Eshmel is being created–and Hong Hua has to leave to try and fend off the attack alone.

Fortune’s Weave has an option for people with a fear of bugs. If you tell Fortuna that you hate seeing bugs, all bug enemies will appear as a dark cloud instead.
Picture of Cai’s pendant. A group of thugs try to raid Cai’s house to steal this. At some point, Cai grasps the pendant and a gem becomes embedded on his left hand.
Suspicious scene with Hong Hua and Raksha. This ties Hong Hua to a group that includes Maria and Iliana.
I think this is after Cai gets the hand gem. The background looks similar. It seems Raksha was trying to retrieve the pendant–the “eyes” as she calls it. Perhaps she ordered the raid on Cai’s home?
These are the same people who possess various cursed objects and may be giving them to participants of the Heroic Games.
We’ve seen this a few times already, but Cai’s father, Castor, is a guest unit early on. Tialla heard from her grandfather that Castor used to be a Vulcan. This is brought up in Bertrand’s conversation with Cai.
A Vulcan seems to be a high ranking temple worker. Which may explain Castor’s powerful fighting skills, which he also taught Cai.
There are stables for the wild horses etc. that Cai can capture on the world map. You can rename them and take care of them.
Cai speaking to Bertrand outside his prison. He says he’d like to learn Bertrand’s techniques to get stronger. I’m guessing it leads to this lengthy conversation.
Seteth mentions that he dyed his hair out of necessity, but he’s also fond of it.
Some more quirks about Dietrich’s path.
He can challenge “Fierce Warriors” to a duel and earn “Secret Combat Arts” from them. In addition, you can enhance combat arts and also teach combat arts to allies.
We saw in Esmeralda’s showcase that she obtained a material for enhancing combat arts.
Fabio mentions that he has an important mission from an “idealistic serpent who watches over the world”.
Is he talking about his mission from the Church of Seiros or his secret mission from Those Who Slither in the Dark? They both fit to some extend, although it feels more like the church to me.
Fabio at the futuristic ruins speaking to the Great Stone Sign, a hologram. She’s saying “Anacharsis, I ask you. What is Shambhala?”
Anacharsis is presumably Fabio’s real, Agarthan name. Shambhala is an underground city in Fodlan that serves as the headquarters of Those Who Slither in the Dark.
Perhaps Fabio has come to Dagda to look for other Agarthan survivors?
Besides that, I think these are the ruins seen in Fabio’s showcase, where Dietrich and Anatolia eventually fight. However, it’s also where Eshmel and Hong Hua were, in the future.
Furthermore, the hologram looks identical to the Katarina that Anatolia was speaking to.
Theodora speaking to Solel, presumably at Dagda’s Temple, where Solel has taken house.
He mentions that the history between the Dagdan empire and Saramis is complex, but hopes to maintain a good relationship.
Theodora wearing civilian clothes to disguise her royalty.
Anatolia speaking to Theodora, presumably after providing a divination.
She says that the Saraminians are descendants of Damascar and thus her kin. There’s additional information in Nintendo-Master’s preview.
Of note, the previewer says that Anatolia is a People of the White Egg, who were the ancestors of Saramis and almost wiped out by Dagda the Great, before being rescued by Yu Phas. They left Dagda to form the Kingdom of Damascar.
She doesn’t outright state it, but I think it’s safe to conclude that Anatolia is from Damascar.
Talimun trying to rope Theodora into some dodgy deals. Ursuala does not look impressed.
Maria’s vihuela. It’s known as “Moon White” and formerly known as the “Performer of the Cosmos” (loose translations). Maria is holding it in the long commercial.
No idea what this is. Some kind of haunted carriage? Actually, during Sirocco’s showcase, there was a house or carriage with purple flames. Perhaps it’s this carriage after it crashes?
This is during the fight with Lechner’s soldiers.
Mysterious man with white hair. Sirocco says he’s infamous for being extremely cruel and is widely known as the Mad Dog. This title is shared with Linus from Blazing Blade.
Update: He may be Lechner.
Denfaminico Gamer
This is the place to go if you want Dietrich pics. Because, boy, are there a lot of Dietrich pics. Not that it’s a bad thing!
Dietrich rescuing Esmeralda, when she’s chained to a pole, to be sacrificed to a sea monster. The main thing on Dietrich’s mind is whether the sea monster is a worthy foe or not.
Afterwards, Esmeralda mentions she’s avenged her father. So it sounds like her father was killed by the sea monster. Maybe he was trying to save his daughter. Or maybe he was killed during a fishing trip or something.
Dietrich throwing hands with Eshmel in the jungle. Imagine if Eshmel died. No more hope for the future…
Previously I said “far as I know, it’s not mentioned that Dietrich likes playing with cats.”
Of course, it turns out that “cats” are mentioned in his in-game likes. Not that I’m really surprised.

Dietrich interacting with various allies. Nydine on the left is impressed with the food. Sofia seems happy about all the gods gathered at Dagsion.
Famitsu
Anatolia triggering Overblaze or her Blaze Art.
World map in the future. There’s Heretics’ Cave near the top.
This scene should look familiar. It’s where Eshmel gathers the four protagonists.
However, it’s also a real “place”. The Door to the Future, which seems to be located inside the Obelisk Chamber. There’s an option to “challenge the decisive battle” (usually read as the “final battle”). I think you choose this when you’re ready to fight Balor.
Not sure if it’s just a single battle or the start of a whole new section.
All seven gods that grant blessings: Fortuna, Aurora, Mars, Smyrnos, Jurah, Kalla and guy with glasses who may be Credna.
Guy with glasses grants:
- Level 1: Vision +5 for 1 turn
- Level 2: Weapons don’t lose durability for 1 turn
- Level 3: Always strike first during enemy phase for 1 turn
Wow, does Level 3 grant everyone Vantage?
Hold on, it says his name above the blessings. Clair? That’s not Credna, unless they changed his name in the English version. Both names start with the same sound (Cle/Cre), so it’s not impossible they changed the name.

Update: CeladonMori reminded me that there’s a Credna’s Temple on the world map during the Direct. This confirms that Clair is Credna’s Japanese name.
Perfect Bird Time with Theodora.
Peter’s growth rates. Like other games, your growth rates are affected by class.
| Class | HP | Str | Mag | Spd | Dex | Def | Res | Lck | Cha |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Previous | 40 | 35 | 20 | 45 | 60 | 30 | 25 | 35 | 30 |
| Hunter | 50 ^ | 35 | 20 | 55 ^ | 70 ^ | 30 | 25 | 35 | 30 |
Quest to retrieve a hairclip for a girl, which can be found in a dungeon. Seen in other previews. Famitsu notes that Cai’s story features more sidequests than the other protagonists, due to Cai wanting to help others.
Taking care of an ornius at the stables. In the Direct, it showed Cai capturing wild animals. Famitsu confirms that captured animals can be equipped by mounted classes. We already know that each mount provides a mounted ability, such as increased Movement.

Mentioned in another preview, but Dietrich can challenge “Fierce Warriors” and learn combat arts from them.
Pictured left is Borges the Vampire, one such Fierce Warrior. Defeating him earns you Hidden Technique: Blood Fang, which restores HP equal to half the damage dealt to the enemy. Costs 3 Durability, raises Might by 2, but lowers Hit by 20, has 1 Range.
The game explaining weapon attributes. Swords deal 1.2 times damage during follow-up attacks. Plus Lance is effective versus cavalry and Axe deals a minimum of 5 damage as mentioned earlier.
Theodora, Anatolia and Talimun fighting the Forgotten Alcor soldiers. When the player use’s Fortuna’s Blessing, we can see that gold mask is called Bartolomé. So he’s not Bahr Vahn, although Bartolomé could be an alias.
Hobby Consolas

Some shots from the ruined future. Fortuna observing an Underworld gate from faraway. Looks like it’s the same scene as this one from the Direct.
Underworld giants smashing the city gates. These guys are huge! This is the same scene as when all the wyvern riders are flying around. Looks like the Saraminian army are fighting undead Saraminians?
Loretta, Ninae, Seteth, Orchel and Diego all near each other. Aside from Ninae, all of these characters are known to be allies of Orchel. Does that mean Ninae is also an ally or is she just friendly with them?

Ninae is disappointed that Credna wasn’t at the openng ceremony. It seems she knows Credna; one time, he told her a long story.

Zarcone is a commander during the battle with the Gaia Brigadiers. In the June trailer, he was barely visible behind Sirocco’s portrait for a few frames.
Goliath after he’s defeated during the street battle with Cai.
Orchel has a unique Blaze Art gauge with a gear icon. There should be more information about that in another preview.
Moreover, of the 8 people with statues in the future, 7 of them have a full Blaze Art gauge–we’re just missing Bertrand’s.
Eurogamer Spain

Dietrich’s group confronting Majide at the tavern. He’s harrassing Mikaela, calling himself the future victor of the Heroic Games. Of note, Baozi, one of Hong Hua’s allies is sitting behind Majide. He mentions giving the Ink-Black Wen to a “nasty piece of work”, which could be referring to Majide.
Also, when Dietrich walks in, Maria looks surprised. She also seems to be in cahoots with the same group. Later on, she’s discussing Dietrich with Raksha.
Another shot of Dietrich duelling Majide. We don’t see the outcome, but presumably Dietrich steals Majide’s cursed cape afterwards.

Trying to recruit Io. You need support level 2 and Renown Level 3. He talks a lot about his horse.

Anatolia speaking to Cai, presumably before entering the match. She’s accompanied by Sha Lan to the left and Halvin on the right (our POV). Anatolia has noticed that others with similar powers to Cai have entered the Heroic Games.

This is the match where Cai, Dietrich and Anatolia team up to fight the Thundercloud Knights led by Benditz.
Its a recreation of the Battle of Tarvos from 1600 years ago, which is before the Dagdan imperial calendar started. Long ago, the mysterious nation of Iskandariya (which is found on the world map, west of Dagsion), ruled the desert. That is, until Dagda the Great launched an assault at Tarvos.

Goliath and Jester chatting to each other. Goliath is impressed at the warriors fighting in the Heroic Games. Jester meanwhile considers them “sheep” who mindlessly follow the gods.
Jester requires support level 3 and Renown Level 6 to recruit.
Dietrich running around Esmeralda’s village, before the battle starts. Near the centre of the village, Esmeralda has been tied up, as a sacrifice for a sea monster.

A yellow bull-like animal. There’s 3 of them on this map.
It seems you can visit 6 of the temples at Dagsion straight away. Should be Aurora, Credna and Kalla at the lower half and Smyrnos, Mars and Jurah at the upper half.

Fabio fighting a smaller sea monster. There’s a bigger one near the top-left corner, off-screen.

Sometimes, you can trigger small conversations on the map. Esmeralda asks why Dietrich saved her earlier. These can increase support points.
BRCDEvg

In-game tutorial explaining how to move units. Eshmel is a Level 1 Guardian fighting a Virtual Soldier.

This might’ve been shown elsewhere, but Ribeira (Cai’s village) is located east from Dagsion, in the Idyia province.
Similarly, Fina (Esmeralda’s village) is located to the north, in the Castalia province.
After getting Perfect Bird Time, you unlock Extra Time, which allows you to observe your companion, presumably similar to in Three Houses.
Noctula’s profile. She’s literally “Neutral”, not from any group or faction. The Direct made it look easy, but she requires Renown Level 4 to recruit in Cai’s route.

Theodora roaming around Aurora’s temple in casual attire. It seems you can switch outfits, because Theodora is wearing different outfits despite being the same scene.

Seteth and Loretta in Orchel’s group. Seteth has the Spear of Assal, the sacred weapon of Cichol.
Orchel has an Automata Blaze gauge. Those with this Blaze gauge do not increase the Blaze gauge when wielding cursed weapons or equipment. In the example, Orchel has a cursed axe called Velheit.
Game Two
I think this is explained on the Japanese official site, but triggering Overblaze (maxing out the gauge) with the Underworld Blaze gauge reduces the character’s max HP until the end of the map.
It also tells us this power comes from the Underworld. So Cai, Dietrich, Leda, Theodora and Talimun should be really careful… Oh, who am I kidding, they’re screwed.

Lakshashi’s Iron Fan is a cursed weapon with poisonous blades. It grants the Poisonous Wind combat art, which poisons the enemy if it hits and counts as a magic attack, but cannot follow-up.
Simon. He mentions a “boss”.

Kiroc being recruited. Dining with Fianna.

A Gold Entombed enemy. Underworld Boon halves damage if the attack isn’t effective (eg. Seraphim).

Kalla and Jurah blessings.
Kalla grants Avo +50, Dex +5 or Spd +2 for 1 turn.
Jurah prevents effective damage, follow-up attacks or critical hits against the user for 1 turn.
Loretta’s profile.
She’s good at dodging attacks. Likes reliable people, sweets and her friends. Requires support level 3 and Renown level 5 for Leda to recruit. Already known, but her clan is Orchel’s Linaria’s Morning Dew.
Ninae’s profile.
She’s a Vulcan like Centurio and, in the past, Castor. She can sense spirits and deflect magical attacks. Likes poor people, her necklace, talking to spirits, the sky. Requires support level 3 and Renown level 8 for Leda to recruit.
Her clan is also Linaria’s Morning Dew. Curiously, she’s a physical fighter and magic tank.
Also, she has the Crest of Gloucester, not the Crest of Aubin on her armour. Maybe the Crest of Aubin is because she works at Aurora or maybe even Yu Phas’s temple? Actually, the latter may explain her creepy aura.
The guy with Bertrand while facing off against Dietrich and Fabio is Gaitz. He’s a warrior who trained in the East. Not recruitable by Leda, at least right now.
He’s in Bertrand’s clan, Mane of Flames, which isn’t a surprise. But Jester and Goliath are also with him. Plus Dante, but we knew that already.
Interestingly, Fabio and Esmeralda can be recruited by Leda. Esmeralda requires Renown Level 6. Ultand requires Renown Level 8.
Orchel cannot be recruited (yet?). Diego requires Renown Level 8.
Ursula is the Managing Director of the Vandahl Merchants. I’m guessing Talimun’s second-in-command. She cannot be recruited (yet?).
Bonaventure and Tobias also cannot be recruited (yet?).
Dadao, the guy with forehead markings in Anatolia’s clan. Requires Renown Level 5.
Anatolia cannot be recruited (yet?).
Guzran requries Renown Level 3. Yang Jie requires Renown Level 8.
Flipping heck, Majide, the original owner of Dietrich’s cursed cape can be recruited. You need Renown Level 9.
Peppe cannot be recruited (yet?). He’s representing the Brigid army.
Peter can be recruited, but requires Renown Level 10, which is the highest I’ve seen.
Wccftech
You awaken in an incubation vat and are informed you had previously died, everything but your heart destroyed, and are now being placed into the body of a Mediator, a genetically engineered servant to the gods
This is touched in the Nintendo Dream Web preview, but Eshmel died once. Perhaps they were executed by Sothis? Only their heart survived and they’re placed in an artificial body called a Mediator. Which is also an excuse for allowing you to customise Eshmel to your liking.
Nuwa seems to be the English name for Joka, mentioned in Troy’s showcase. It’s the place that Hong Hua and Troy are from.
Now we learn that it’s apparently a spaceship. Although this might sound a bit crazy for Fire Emblem, the progenitor god Sothis is said to have come to Fodlan from a distant place–widely believed by the Church to be the Blue Sea Star in the sky (likely another planet).
Anatolia’s Blaze Art, Shining Dragon Strike.
Kinda Funny Games
Anatolia has a new wind(?) spell, Glass Wheel. Presumably wind, since it’s effective versus Flying.
Bit more info about Anatolia’s Dragon Strike. It’s an area attack that damages all foes and obstacles in range. The affected area increases with each “tier”.

Anatolia’s Blaze Art type is Celestial Wells, same as Eshmel. A unit with this gauge type can raise the gauge by using normal attacks. Also, using cursed weapons or equipment will decrease the gauge, instead of increasing it.
In the example, Anatolia has a cursed gauntlet called Ursa’s Right Claw.

Cai using Aurora’s statue as a shield. Cai’s father, Castor immediately prays to Aurora for forgiveness. We know Castor was a Vulcan at a temple, most likely Aurora’s temple. But there could be another reason for his devotion to Aurora…
The wyvern-like monsters from Tobias’s showcase are called Vouivre in the English version.
Rocket Beans Gaming
Guzan triggers Hot-Headed (Crit). Previously, he was seen triggering Hot-Headed Hit.

Talisman Shield provides Def +1 and Res +2 and has 3 Weight. Vulnerary restores 20 HP.
Peppe’s profile. He’s a Noble aligned with the Brigid Army. A skilled hunter who attacks quickly. Likes the spirits, people of Brigid, the Sun and his hometown. His personal skill is Hunter’s Trap. Requires Renown Level 9 for Cai to recruit and completion of ???.

Peter learns Steady Shot at Infantry D. If user is Infantry and wields bow or magic, Hit +5.
Cai learns Lances Lv. 1 at Lance D+. If user wields Lance, Hit +3. Seems consistent with the other weapon Lv. 1 skills.
Note: There’s also footage from Eshmel’s prologue, but most of it overlaps with Gamersyde’s video, found below.
Gamersyde
Note: This is a mirror of a video from Gamersyde that was removed.
Kunlun, the village where Eshmel saved Hong Hua. Kunlun is a mountain range in China; in some mythologies, it’s the birthplace of the Chinese people.

There’s a Salamander +3 that you can pick up from the ground. When you speak to Hong Hua, she mentions it used to be standard issue at Kunlun.
Anatolia and Sha Lan both have Salamanders. Do they come from Kunlun?

You need to use a teleporter to leave Kunlun. Is that the only way to leave the village?
Also, Hong Hua says they’ll teleport to Katarina, one of the Grand Oracles. In the Heroic Games era, Anatolia was speaking to Katarina, when they confront Dietrich’s group at the futuristic ruins. In addition, Fabio was speaking to someone who looked like Katarina, called the “Great Stone Sign”. Grand Oracle could be the English name.
Concoction restores 40 HP.
After exploring Kunlun, you go through the Heretics’ Cave to reach the outside world. Is Kunlun located west from Heretics’ Cave?
If so, it doesn’t quite seem like the place that Anatolia is from. She says that she came from the West, but Kunlun seems to be north-west from Dagsion, in the Thaleia province. Overall, it would be at the north side of Dagda.

It seems Hong Hua knows Lind or knows of him. He was once known as the Lord of Impalement.

Lind remembers Hong Hua. She used to serve Magistra Raksha, but was tossed aside at some point.
We see Hong Hua with Raksha around the time Cai’s pendant activates and he gets the hand gem.
You fight the Risen versions of the four protagonists. Cai’s class is Orichaldia. He’s wielding a Star Sphere. Curiously, he only has the Crest of Aubin right now (no Crest of Gautier).

Risen Cai’s battle lines. When he dies, he mentions his mother. Strangely, he doesn’t mention his father. Don’t tell me his father already died?

Next opponent is Risen Dietrich. He’s a Swordmaster and still wields the Answerer. He has the Crest of Lamine, some kind of Avoid skill, Sword Crit +7 and Bestial Impulse.

Risen Dietrich’s battle lines. Nothing to gleam, except Dietrich’s crazy.

Already seen, but Theodora is a Sentinel. She has a skill with the Blaze Art icon and Royal Resolve+.
Not applicable here since her opponent is using a Blaze Art, but earlier, Theodora lacks the Crest of Gautier, similar to Cai. Did their Crests of Gautier get absorbed by Balor’s host or something?
Also, Theodora mentions their hatred–presumably the people of Saramis. Is this related to their worship of Yu Phas, who’s shunned by the rest of Dagda?
Not shown here, but Leda is a Dancer.

Mighty Fist combat art and Silver Gauntlets.

Lind is a High Savant, wielding Dark Angela, a cursed weapon. He has the crests of Gautier and Fraldarius, the first one presumably from his cursed weapon.
During battle, his Crest of Fraldarius aka Diadem of Revival activates, restores HP equal to half the damage dealt to the foe.
