In other Fire Emblem games, stat boosts are pretty straightforward to apply since they generally fall into two simple rules:
- Permanent and temporary boosts from consumable items (e.g. Seraph Robe, Pure Water) cannot exceed the character’s maximum stats and do not stack with each other.
- Temporary boosts from equipped items (eg. legendary weapons) can exceed a character’s maximum stat and can stack with each other.
However Awakening mixes things up slightly as all temporary boosts can now exceed a character’s maximum stats and, more importantly, they may stack with each other. This allows characters to obtain a combined stat boost of over 30 in a stat, if you try hard enough…
List of Temporary Boosts
Notes: Unless stated, each type of stat boost can stack with different stat boosts, but not itself. E.g. Rally Strength stacks with Rally Spectrum, but doesn’t stack with another Rally Strength.
