Genei Ibun Roku #FE Famitsu Interview

Now that Fire Emblem Fates is out in Japan, Famitsu have started turning their attention to the Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei inspired game coming out later this year: Genei Ibun Roku #FE.

Last week’s issue included a sizable feature on the game, although most of the information was already presented at E3 or on the game’s official website.

In addition, there was a lengthy developer interview that contained several juicy tidbits–and this week, Famitsu has published the full interview online, which you can read here (in Japanese).

Genei Ibun Roku #FE Character Profiles

After its E3 showing, Nintendo promptly updated the official site for Genei Ibun Roku #FE (the Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem crossover).

Sadly I was bogged down with work at the time, so I couldn’t take a proper look. However, now that I have slightly more time (that’s a lie by the way), I went ahead and translated the character profiles here.

In case you’re wondering, the profiles are for the 10 characters (and Mirages) formally introduced in the E3 trailer. Before, you knew their faces; now you know what they’re like!

E3: Genei Ibun Roku #FE at Treehouse Live

E3 is over for this year, but I still have a lot to write about…

On the second day of E3, Nintendo Treehouse gave us an in-depth look at Genei Ibun Roku #FE (the Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem crossover).

If you haven’t seen the Treehouse footage and you’re even a tiny bit interested in the game, do give it a gander as it’s our best glimpse into the game yet–featuring actual gameplay (no, really).

To supplement the footage, here is my report, which summarises everything we learned and some more. I dunno about you, but I’m looking forward to playing FErsona!

I’ve been positively swamped with Fire Emblem content recently, which is never a bad thing.

That said, the more information there is at once, the easier it is to lose track of things.

So before things get even crazier, here is my analysis of the E3 trailer for Genei Ibun Roku #FE (the Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem crossover).

For those curious, I’ve also uploaded the official press kit for people to download here.

The kit includes a couple of screenshots from the trailer, plus several artworks of the game’s characters (and Mirages). Definitely worth a look if you’re at all interested!
