Upon reaching a certain Level, characters can change their class by visiting one of the many Mila Idols located throughout the land.
Stat Changes
If any of the character’s stats (except Resistance) are lower than the base stats of their new class, those stats will be increased to the new class’s base stats.
Eg. If Gray promotes from a Villager to a Mercenary at Level 5, his Skill will increase by 4 points and his Speed will increase by 6 points.

After changing classes, the character’s Level is reset to 1.

Overclass
After purchasing the Lost Altars DLC, characters that have reached Level 20 in their final class can “overclass” to a powerful new class by visiting the corresponding altar.
Note: As usual, all classes (except Alm and Celica’s) may use a Pitchfork to Class Change to Villager.
