While in My Castle, you can construct and upgrade buildings (or objects) by speaking to your assistant (Felicia or Jakob by default) near the throne room or by pressing START to access the “Castle Menu”.
For the most part, construction and upgrading requires “Dragon Vein Points”, which are earned by participating in story and optional battles (this includes StreetPass or SpotPass battles).
Up to 50 buildings (or objects) can be placed in My Castle at once. Placement is not permanent–you can use the Castle Menu to move or store away unwanted buildings (or objects).
During Castle battles, the enemy may attack your buildings, but any damage done is reset when the battle ends.
Note: In the tables below, “chapter” denotes the chapter that must be completed before the building (or upgrade) becomes available.
