  1. I agree with a lot of this. I like the removal of weapon triangle. I like how archers have 1-5 range and realistic accuracy. I like how magic takes from your health. All very realistic and same with map design. Every class has its place and I feel like I'm really needing to strategise more. I also like the removal of the pair up system I hated that and tried to never use it in previous games. As for my gripes with the game, they include: - Needs more map variety. Most maps are just plains. In Conquest every single map was different and varied greatly. - Unit balancing and need for grinding. I feel like I am primarily using only 3-4 units that are carrying the team. A few bad level up growths and most of my team have been left behind and barely used (I got really unlucky with Forsyth, Python and Clive)
  2. I prefer no proc skills. After playing Echoes, battles flow smoother and there's definitely more strategy involved. No long ass skill activation animations which make me skip the battle scene. In Fates, I got to a point where I had at least one proc skill on all my mains and Quixotic, making a high chance of skill activation. I thought I would like it, but the game became so boring and unbalanced after that. Every battle would result in a proc skill being activated, the enemy dying and a long ass skill activation which made me just skip the battle scenes wall together and less enjoyable overall. The worst offender of this is when the enemy has 1hp and then Lethality decides to proc. After turning off all my units proc skills, I found the game to be a lot more enjoyable. Except for Arena battles and My Castle battles in Fates, which sadly require proc skills and chance :(
  3. Definitely an interesting set. But Shining Bow wouldn't allow the use of Aether or other skills
  4. Wouldn't Aether be the only thing affected by Nohrian Trust? Also that skill requires you to be paired up. This set uses Galeforce as part of its strategy which you can't be paired up for
  5. So hear me out. I have a Bow Knight Build for my avatar as it has always been my favourite class (bow is my favourite weapon and get to ride a horse). In my main Lunatic Revelations file I've managed to make a near indestructible build for it and I will tell you why. +Speed/-Luck Weapon: Steel Bow +7 Skills: Aether Galeforce Point Blank Hoshidan Unity Quixotic All I do is leave him in the middle of a field and he kills everyone no matter how strong they are. They will hurt him or at least get him down to a quarter health. With HU and Quixotic, he almost always procs Aether to heal+kill. Also with Point Blank, the bow becomes the strongest 1-2 range weapon as Shurikens are weak and Magic isn't as strong either. Also, other magic weapons such as Levin Sword do not allow skill procs. Galeforce is there so on player phase I can kill an enemy AND put myself in a favourable position after. The mobility is why I choose Bow Knight over Sniper or Adventurer. What do do you think? Can you think of a stronger build than this? Either for a Bow Knight or other classes for soloing maps?
  6. Dragon Fang is the best out of what you said. But Aether is the best skill by far. I solo'd Siegbert's Paralogue on Lunatic with it. (Chapter 27)
  7. Nvm I did it! The trick was getting the Kanas out of the middle after dealing with the middle enemies and having them deal with the arms. Meanwhile, I had allllll my other units at the south for when the rest of reinforcements came and finished em quick :)
  8. I have finished all the other 5 maps on lunatic without losing a unit.. But this one seems like it's taking forever. The annoying part is when all the remaining parents come from the south after you beat the arms. Any tips?
  9. All valid points that help! Especially the Replicate option.
  10. Hey guys, I found an efficient grinding method on Boo Camp DLC that I thought I'd share, because I know how frustrating it can be when your units are too weak and keep dying on the map. Also when the Green enemies start giving little to no EXP due to your units being over levelled. First, Recruit 3-4 Einherjars with their stats maxed out or as high as possible (just recruit them from the top 3 ranked My Castles) Next, Start Boo Camp and bring the OP units with you. Now here's the strategy. In the centre of the map, just North of your starting position, there is a breakable wall. Your weak units will be aiming for this wall and breaking it to get to the upper half of the map. Meanwhile, your OP Einherjars will simply be moved into the middle of wherever the enemies spawn. I usually send one up the left and one up the right side of the map, while 1-2 go up north with the weaklings (I will tell you why shortly). The Green monsters will suicide on the Einherjars on enemy phase and will leave the yellow ones that give the big EXP to "escape" to the north of the map. If Golems spawn, try and get rid of them with the Einhejars on Player Phase. Finally, when the yellow enemies come to your weak units that are waiting on the upper half of the map, Kill them for all the EXP you desire by having the OP Einherjars that came up with you stand adjacent to you while you attack them. They should be able to kill them easily. NOTE: This works better the earlier in the game you are, as the enemies are weaker but Yellow Enemies ALWAYS give a minimum of 20exp per kill no matter what. Also, if the Yellow Enemies are still too strong for you, give the Einherjars a weapon that doesn't kill the enemy if above 1HP (e.g. Niles' Bow) or a weapon that doesn't activate skills/crits/follow up attacks (e.g. Hand Axe) so they can weaken the yellows for your weak units to finish them off. Hope this helps!
  11. What I meant was, would it actually apply immediately? Or would you have to demolish/build the statue again?
  12. Say I have 5 +Str gold statues in My Castle. How does this affect newly recruited units? Example, the statues are set up and Ryoma joins next chapter. Will his Strength cap start at the default or will the +5 Cap already be applied?
  13. Thanks for that! Looks like I won't be resorting to Aptitude after all :)
  14. Wait so you CAN level up an unlimited amount of times?? After 99 you can still increase stats?
  15. This is exactly what I was thinking too, since i finished it on lunatic already legit.. it would be so much easier if i could just clone dragon herbs without resorting to buying a Powersave thing >_<
