  2. Best Character is Ballistician Orochi and we know it.
  3. Base Basilio has 35 strength as a Zerker. With a Strength tonic it goes up to 37. If you levelled him up to 15 it gets to 42. He gets 43 might with the Axe bonus. Forged Brave Axe gets him to 60 might. He deals 9x2 damage an attack to Grima. Yeah, you're right. Seems like Brave!Axe Basilio is better than Chrom. Plus he's easier to get dual attacks from since he has a Flavia support. And he doesn't require any drop.
  4. Recruiting Tiki is a pretty mess of rescue-spamming. The AI will never go for you unless tiki is dead, so as long as you use rescue well it's quite doable if you can keep one side clear. (though I know how hard that is) They also have okay-ish hitrates on Tiki so you can try rigging for that too. (around 70% iirc) You can't kill Grima without Chrom because nobody deals really enough damage. You also have to rely on wonky Dual Attack and Hit Rates, because Chrom's are awful, but that's your only hope. I definitely recommand Bow Knight Gregor. Yeah, that's the issue. You're off getting Flavia with a Chrom pair-up (with both boosted by Basilio) while reclassing her as an assassin so her base speed is enough with a speed tonic to double grima. (you need 38 speed to double Grima iirc, with Great Lord Chrom giving 4 speed and Flavia having 32 as an assassin) Then you go for 4 brave sword hits praying for Chrom to actually hit (try to get him to aether to make this easier), along Olivia dancing Flavia to get the final hits. Iirc this deals right the damage to kill Grima if you fed Chrom every strength statbooster. EDIT : Found the planning I had done long ago for the final map : (though it is reliant on getting MU to Rally Royal, that I don't think would be possible for you ; maybe you could get Morgan to lv15?) EDIT 2 : Say'ri can easily get the boosts from a pair-up too. If you don't have Rally Royal, Flavia deals 5 damage to Grima = 20. Chrom lowers to 13. 13x4 = 52. You deal overall 144 damage with a Dance from Olivia. This is still doable.
  5. Yeah. Haven't playtested Awakening's 0%, but from my no-duo games I know some chapters are hell with okay-ish good units. The Valm part is probably really really hard for you, especially since the only unit you get there is Say'ri. (who's a good unit, but Walhart is a pain) I think you'll have the most trouble on chapter 23. While 19, 20 and 21 can be somehow trivialized if you rescue chain and RNG-abuse to kill Walhart (I remember he attacks first on 19), chapter 23 is just hell. You're gonna have Say'ri to dodge tank as much as possible. Have you S-ranked MU yet to get the Naga's Tear? You'll need to give all the strength statboosts to Chrom so he can kill Grima.

  8. Don't forget about Hinoka hilariously seeming totally okay about everything minus being the new queen of hoshido being a little bit hard. She's super alright along Sakura to come seeing the murderers of her people, her mother -I don't think they actually know the Vallites are to blame for that, right?- and her brothers- and talking happily with them like nothing really happened. Thanks Corrin! To get into the subject of how gay marriage was handled in fates... As I'm not a gaymer myself, it might be hard for me to judge it perfectly. But let's give my two cents : - That was first of all a tough choice for IS, especially since... What's currently happening in EU. I just hope this won't prevent the game to sell (seems pretty good right now if you look at the speed for collector editions), since in some countries I have to remind Gay marriage isn't legal (Italy is currently voting for it). I totally respect their decision and think that's the right choice too. - Though the way it was handled is... Quite disturbing, but I guess it's okay since it's one of the first times that in a video game, a man/girl can marry someone of the same sex. I really think it could have been better, but it's okay. For example, you could also have had Soleil to be a pure Lesbian (would have been really fun instead of someone who simply likes women, but maybe that would have been waaaay too far), or I don't know, having instead of a buddy option for some characters some gaymance options. (like the famous SilasxKaze) - And yeah, Silas as the gay option could have sounded better (and Soleil as the lesbian one), but I guess that Niles was more popular or something like that. - I'm also quite sad that gay options mean no children. They could have made them to be adopted or something like that, since they got the BabyRealms on. Nina and Kanna would have been found victims of war or something like that that they raised as their children and put to safety into the babyrealm. I think that even for a MUxRhajat, not getting Kanna is pretty annoying since... well, you can't be homo and go for optimization. This is quite sad. - I'm not sure for Shiro... Anyone can be gay for sure, but they probably wanted the gay option to be evident as well. Niles and Rhajat sound pretty obvious regarding Corrin this way. At least that's what I think.

  11. btw I made a mistake in the calcs : Forgot to take into account Hinoka's passive for Reina. =( EDIT : And errrm Horace, Corn can't use the Dragon Spirit since his weapon rank as a Nohrian Noble is at B. I forgot that. If you want to change his 5th weapon in the PM you can, and you may change your attack.
  12. She was paired up with Belka. Maybe switching Camilla and Belka around? Make Belka the hammering one, while Camilla supports Nyx to increase her damage? I suppose you've already used tonics and the kitchen? Can't you use the blacksmith for Nyx's tome, or Camilla's Hammer?

  14. I'm in doubt. How does the weapon triangle work when you have WTD? Is it the agressor's weapon rank that affects you, or yours?

(or 30%, I don't remember what his exact mag growth is) By the way, since you asked for it, here are Merchant!Orochi's awesome's growths : - 45% HP - 25% Strength - Useless 65% Magic - 60% Skill - Amazing 20% Speed - 50% Luck - 35% Defense - 50% Res So... Merchant!Orochi is an unit that tinks everything until you manage to get her weapon ranks from E to C for her to use the Shining Bow/Shockstick, that gets doubled and probably ORKO'd by any character too. Have fun training that. =)

  20. To be honest... I think it would have hurt the company to sell it as "one game with branching paths". Since you have overall a lot of game content for a 3DS, it means the game would have been around 70€, that is way too much for players who only want to try one version. The reason it worked so well is because you could try one version, and then go to the other if you liked that. (and if you really liked that get into Revelations) Revelations has quite the flaws, but I guess some players -like me I think- always like to have the option to be either against everyone or with everyone. Revelations proposed that for players left with this desire. Sure, it's not handled really well, but at least it's the "happy ending" option. Maps being reused is obviously gonna happen. You fight in the same environments. While it is boring gameplay-wise, it's something that makes sense in the story. (while they somehow took different point of views, like Revelations' Chapter 8) As for Children... They're the reward for getting an S pairing. They should have been better handled for sure, that is a fact. I don't technically like Children being there since they're often broken units with no real reason (time travel was BS in awakening, and Deeprealms are even more), but if they do it like FE4, why not. (though it's impossible because if people cry at a normal tragic death like Ryoma, they're bound to be devastated if you learn everyone flipping dies) I think the inclusion of children is pretty hard there. Though since they got some people into the games, I'm okay as long as it doesn't make other leave. I can just ignore them.
  21. My notes right now : - Effie is the strongest Nohrian unit. She has pretty much the best class set an unit could ask for (Wary Fighter/Tomebreaker/Pavise/Luna/Inspiration), and she's bulky. The only thing that could get her are Magic Weapons (who can't proc skills) or Bows (who have a lot of chances to tink her). - Ryoma is the strongest Hoshidian unit. This is pretty easy. He gets the awesome skills from Samurai and Pegasus Knight. - Bows are undervalued. Bows are pretty great in this game. The 1-2 weapons (unless spells) can't proc skills, so most of the characters -unless your name is Ryoma or Xander- start with a 1 weapon. This allows any of your unit to start a small snipe. Though I think I might have overvalued Setsuna : While her speed is nice (allows her to double quite the units), she can't really be effective on the battlefield aside Poison Strike utility. I think Takumi might be a better bow user simply because he gets access to Spear Fighter and the Seals. Takumi's only issue is that he has not a lot of speed, meaning he can get doubled by Ryoma pretty easily. -and he has WTD against Swords unless he equips the Dual Yumi- - Hidden Weapons, on the other hand, might be overvalued. Most units using Hidden Weapons get very low strength. Therefore they can't be really effective. Meanwhile, you have the Spear Fighters with the useful seals and Draconic Hex!MU who can debuff the good stats. I think one Hoshidian unit in particular is pretty much undervalued, but I won't say who he is before I face someone. (prolly Quint for his revenge) Charlotte seems also to be a great unit, as she's probably the best Effie counter due to her passive + Hammer access. Oboro with gold bar skills also seem to have a lot of potential, since she gets Quixotic to help her proc the passive. Add to that the fact she can get into a Bow Class (Merchant or Mechanist, who while not being the best can be useful) to help her get safe procs on the first turns along use of her seals. Though, if you wanna get two seals, you'll have to pass on Rend Heaven, which is a pretty hard thing to do.
