like another anon said, the only thing preventing JP games from playing on NA consoles are the little tabs Also just in case. If there are Europeans wondering if the games work on an PAL SNES with a converter, I have FE4 and can confirm that it work just fine on my PAL SNES with my game converter.

Well, im not sure wether a NP cart would work on a converter, it seems to have some special chips if i look at the carts closely, I know the retail one does work mainly due to having no special chips, though it is also more expensive, it does look nicer in a FE collection tho.

I guess its time for an update Recently managed to get my hands on a copy of Seisen no Keifu complete with Box and Manual (Found it at an anime convention of all places) And I can confirm that it works really well on my converter. It's great to finally own a physical copy of this game

Thanks guys, maybe i'd be better of just buying a reproduction cart then, that way ill be sure itll run. Im not sure, maybe ill try importing one day, maybe I wont, I guess I need more time to think about it.

Maybe it doesnt happen for everyone, it's not that noticable anyway At first I tought it was my 3ds acting weird but it only happens with this game. Ah well, i'll keep my eye on it.

Anyone Else sometimes have really small (you can easily miss them) flickering lines on the screen while playing EU version of Fates? It sometimes happens to me, and only when playing EU Fates, it doesnt happen with other games or even JP fates for that matter. From what I have heard its apparently a common problem with the EU version of fates?

At the moment getting a American SNES or Super Famicom isnt an option for me, but seeing that they would work on the converter is nice, would at least be a temporarily solution and give me an excuse to add them to my FE collection. Also are you sure about Genealogy and Thracia also having no special chips? Since they came out pretty late in the Super Famicom's life.
