  1. AAndddddd.... Sain already predictably being the winner of this title bout!
  2. and when they're coming to real play, we could bet that at most of the games we play, Franz is already higher leveled than those two... (but still have to pray for RNG goddess)
  3. LTC + Complete recruitment, nuff said...
  4. While recruiting wallace is tricky in HHM LTC (it's far easier and really tempting to let him not promote and die ungloriously), it's more often as simple as sending Javelin-equipped Sain (and Kent if both has somewhat low level and or RNG screwed, or Kent Alone if your Kent is really good) to intercept wallace at his path of rampage, all while Marcus and Raven (or guy) taking the left path...
  5. Let us praise Sain! The one true cavalier with proper cavalier attitude! And who could blame me for acting so cavalier in a cavalier thread :P Alright, let's talk about doing LTC Lyn mode as well, so no Eagler and Lundgren abuse... who means that Eagler and Lundgren is very likely to get Steel (or Heavy) Lance stabbed to their face repeatedly by... Sain, all while Kent and Rath (and dorcas) chain rescued Erk or Lucius that work as softener or Serra that work with healing Sain... As well as using that knight crest on Wallace after he kill Eagler and some guys in Lundgren's stage (because come on, this is LTC and we will get him unless you deliberately use Eliwood and Hector instead of good ol' Marcus) Sain is very likely level 9-10 (as well as Kent), so he still potentially have level (and stat) lead over lowen when he rejoin in 16, more so if you play EHM and he join in chapter 15.
  6. I see lowen fanboyism is strong with this one... while we're at it, why not actually using Marcus and let Lowen function as Eliwood's riding boy? Marcus is everything that Lowen can't aspire to, unless we're talking about HP...
  7. If we disregard LHM, the best Cavalier that could actually hit shits and hit shits really well is Kent (because untrained Sain can't hit a lot of shits in HHM) If we disregard Sain and Kent's existence, the next best cavalier is Franz, great availability, and his recruit speech and support with Amelia (if you choose to train her) is cute esp "Ephraim take slave girls lol"
  8. Sain is the best, good strength, often not too shabby speed and skill (esp if RNG blessed and you can give him a secret book anyway), plus the most hillarious of those mostly straitlaced stick in the ass ideal chivalrous cavaliers... You can't dismiss the power of seducing every girl in da camp and getting slapped by almost any girls... Now now, this vote only get fair if Gartrie is included, but he's an Armor Knight
  9. Lv 10 Gonzales only if doing 0% Run lower level Gonzales if not, that's it
  10. you clearly underestimating the effect of human psychology on denialism, and overestimate the probability (in Ephraim and Eirika's minds that's it) about the invasion is actually masterminded by Demon King instead of Vingrade getting itchy at conquering something (which actually not quite far from what happened in Ancient-to-pre-Victorian Period anyway : War of Conquest is a big thing, only condemned and made Illegal after 1918 by LON)
  11. I always took the "Lyn give Caelin to Ostia" as either Lyn married Hector (so Caelin naturally become his own due to marriage), or Lyn married Rath (Since he's an outsider and, to be fair, not everyone in Lycian council is open minded enough to accept another Sacaean), so she basically return the land back to council and the council naturally picked Ostia, the largest and strongest ducal state that could afford to keep garrison at Caelin and maintain control there (esp in the light of both Kent and Sain and Wallace leaving). This is because in every good Lyn x Eliwood fanfics (rare thing), Caelin always joined with Pherae instead...
  12. The point is why male mercenaries seemed to struggle more compared to female myrmidons. While the original concepts should be good because the likely users should be dismounted pegasi and such disadvantaged female units who desperately needs more power (dismounted features) and the other users are promoted girls anyway, with myrmidon class + reclass it means that female myrmidons are practically more viable once you got lady sword, especially in early parts (other than that it will be simply more durable silver sword) Alright, lady sword is fine, but in my opinion, we should also get AXE OF MANLINESS, who deal silver axe damage, it also deal heavy "go to kitchen and make me sammich" damage when used against female units. But one catch for this, this weapon should be primarily enemy weapon and you could only get them as limited item drop. So much enemy axe users used that so your lady-sword myrmidon get a disadvantage when carelessly trot to enemy axe users.
  13. Oh well, blame my curiousity that lands me on a really interesting game that was named FE3 After I played FE11 and FE12... Alright, so, rants about not being able to reclass Draug into hunter in FE3 and such, and after in separate event also tweaking with dslazy and nightmare to edit some stats for Shadow Dragon, and noticing the dismounted knight references. So, uh, sorry to start with this, but we all knew all arguments that reclass reduce an units uniqueness (esp in FE12 after you unlock all male class), but still, in some sense, I did personally think that gameplay wise, reclass could be used to simulate what real army do if facing a different enemy loads, while only have the same men who could take things (due to the rest not having enough experiences to catch up or other things like limited X-only run). So, how about actually limit the reclassing options for each characters? So everyone only get two or three (at most) classes, and they are custom tailored for each characters so they in fact giving more unique feels toward each characters rather than make them similar with each others. Like Cain, Abel, Hardin all starts as cavalier, but when needed, or when the player feels like it, they can reclass into different unit, but its somewhat different for each others. Cain fight on horse as cavalier, but when needed on foot, he prefer to shed his armor and fight with swords as agile myrmidon. (Reclass : Cavalier - Myrmidon / Paladin - Swordmaster) Abel and Hardin fight on horse as cavalier, but when needed on foot, he prefer the opposite of Cain, aka don even heavier armor and fight with lances as Armor Knight. (Reclass : Cavalier - Knight / Paladin - General) And while it could mean dismounting, it could also simulate different weapon preferences as well. Like Draug for example. He start out as knight in heavy armor, but when needed, he could fight without armor with bows as speedy hunter and later get his own horse as a horseman. (Reclass : Armor Knight - Hunter / General - Horseman). Or if you really want, it could give you a way to simulate that only few has magic talent but those who have could use them as well. Like Cord, he start as a fighter, but he has option to reclass as Dark Mage (instead of other physical class) and start casting tomes, while his bros Barst and Bord cannot, and instead Barst get reclass option to Pirate, and Bord to Mercenary. With some proper tweak in stat growths, you can also make even more differences between those with magic. Merric has (more) strength growths, and when his magical casting expertise isn't needed, he could use a sword and become a myrmidon (and later swordmaster, and with his still existent magical growth, he could use levin sword effectively). Wendell in the other hand, prefer to keep things far when he didn't use his magic so he reclass into Sniper. Linde, being the highest in magic growth and no strength / defense gains, prefer to stay in magic class and use staff instead (so she can be cleric and start growing resistence more). Lena actually has pegasus for ride and could ride it into battle (reclass to pegasus knight). And Wrys of all people, could be secretly an expert in swordsmanship (with tweak to physical stats growths), so he could reclass into a very effective myrmidon and later swordmaster, but mediocre to poor curate otherwise (but since reclass to healer is more limited, he will see this job often) And last but not least, considering Marth and the other usually non reclassable guys. Marth the Lord could "reclass" into Lord with horses. Thief could stay as thief, but has promoted thief class (maybe rogue), since they has the other job when thiefing is not needed, like Julian could reclass into Myrmidon, but Rickard the more fragile prefer distance fighting and reclass into archer instead. Bantu, instead of being helpless without Dragonstone, could equip an axe and fight as fighter, while Tiki... Oh well, she's a divine dragon so she could be mage as well. What did you think then?
  14. Reclass Ogma to fighter, and he can work better when he go to hero class (raising axe ranks + strength and health) if you want another magic user that isn't mage / curate, but Dark Mage / Sorcerer, you can reclass Cord to Dark Mage
  15. final bosses that turned as utterly anticlimax or total pussy... Like Fomortiis in FE8 Seriously? Seth could solo him? --/20 Seth for Sacred Stone final boss!
