  1. Bit of an unusual name, but it isn't the first time localizers have given us nearly unpronounceable names (looking at you Yllise from Awakening). I'm not quite sure who Llewellyn is. Zero, Benoit and Ignis make perfect sense given D.C's voice, but Foleo makes sense it terms of meaning. Who knows. Excited to hear D.C. as Gunter, he's perfect for the big guy.
  2. I do agree that the whole 'stored in a pocket universe' thing makes no sense, but it is a lot better than the time travel gimmick in Awakening. Plus potentially courting a 2nd gen character is a lot less awkward without time travel shenanigans.
  3. I feel really bad for Kozaki. Everyone likes to point the finger at him when it's the art director who's making the decisions in the end. I bet you anything if he had freedom over the designs we'd see armor similar to older games. The sketches he did of the Norhs makes me wonder if their culture is a fusion of Celtic and Roman. The edge patterns on Leon, Camilla and Charlotte's clothes look vaguely Roman, but Belka's sweater and Benoit, Harold and Elfie's clothes imply European roots. Whose idea was it to combine those two cultures!?
  4. Wonder when the Suiseiseki jokes will start. Desu
  5. Gen Urobutchi. That said, are you sure you want the writer behind Madoka Magica writing Fire Emblem?
  6. Can we start making Elder Scrolls jokes with Azura now?

  7. M!KamuiXAzura is literally all I have planned out right now. Everything else will happen depending on nice supports.
  8. I mostly pair units I think have good chemistry. Which is how Ricken!Severa and Kellam!Noire became a thing. However, I'm not above taking advantage of skill inheritances. Which is why anyone who can get galeforce probably does. This is also why Lissa in my M!Playthrough always ends up a FalconKnight. Since I don't think children will be as important in Fates, I'm doing the same exact thing. But in following playthroughs I might mess around with pairings for hair colors and skills.
  9. Please let me S-Rank you, this is wonderful. Anyway, lemme introduce: Tori, or as he's known in Nohr, Asher. I'm doing a Hoshido run with him. Kinda bummed out FEIF doesn't have better blond options, but I can give him my birthmark so there's that.
  10. December 31st is just the placeholder until they get the official dates.
  11. Hmm, looks like I'll have to sit here and ponder until the western release. or until I crack.
  12. My jaw literally dropped during the Hoshido dance. The contrast between the dances was beautiful as well. Azura's Hoshidan dance seems so elegant and serene, and the song matches it perfectly. Whereas the Norhian dance seems confident, almost aggressive. Azura's singing a completely different song and almost sounds entirely like a different person. Wonder what that means for Garon. Both dances seemed to have an adverse effect on him, but with Nohr's dance he seemed ready to keel over right then and there. Did the songs have anything to do with it?
  13. Anyone else remember the very first trailer for Fates? A scene that stuck with me was the segment where a barren canyon is replaced by a green field with islands floating in the sky. They don't seem to be a genuine feature to Hoshido or Nohr, making me think something happened to bring the islands there. Another scene in the introduction trailer involved Azura flying through floating debris into a bright light. Said debris looked a lot like the islands featured in the first trailer. With recent revelations concerning the Awakening expies, I'm wondering if these elements are connected. Maybe it's just me, but I'm wondering if Fate's final villain is capable of warping dimensions together. The floating chunks of land in the first trailer are actually from a different dimension entirely. Because they have no place being in Fates' dimension, they're not obeying the laws of physics. Obviously this is very bad. Here's where the Awakening children come into play. [spoiler=TK's BS Theory]What if the villain intends to warp Fates' and Awakening's dimensions together for whatever reason? Clearly, this is bad for both worlds. Owain, Severa and Inigo became aware of this villain and traveled to Fates' dimension to put a stop to them. This could also explain Fates' own second generation. The children are coming from a split dimension very similar to Fates' original dimension.
  14. I love all of them honestly. They all have really adorable and amazing designs. Especially fond of Shara since she's the lesbian option.
