  1. Went straight to the preorders! i generally despise mobile phone games.. But the Langrisser mobile game was actually very entertaining. IMO much more in depth than FE heroes
  2. Fellow Canadians, Amazon Canada started preorders
  3. isn't it odd that no Amiibo's were announced for Three houses? I'm not 100%.. but i think seem to remember Amiibo's announced once a release date for the actual game was confirmed (Echos, Fates and Awakening).
  4. A country ruled by a league of nobles, bound to no king or emperor. That sounds like a society I can relate to.
  5. Good point. The impression i got from the trailer is the religion of the continent is "silk road" of the three kingdoms. Responsible for the current peace between the kingdoms *the good and holy people* i guess... This might very well be a story of the three heirs to their respective kingdoms. Uncovering the deep and darker motives behind the religion.
  6. I wonder if Nintendo or IS is brave enough to go a controversial route about Kingdoms abandoning and rebelling against religion in general.
  7. Its near guarantee it'll be everything what Awakening + Fates + new story. Nintendo was about to pull the plug on Fire emblem franchise as a whole, even if the developers felt brave and trying new directions. It'll get shot down by Nintendo
  8. Is this JP only? I havnt been able to find anything on this coming to NA I've only came across Langrisser recently because of a youtuber who normally discusses Fire emblem.. im really impressed with this mobile title.. Sad the "beta" is now pulled, with no ETA when full release starts
  9. im was still half asleep.. so when it first revealed.. i thought i was watching Fire emblem Warriors 2.. Although i read "Three houses", i had Three kingdoms (Dynasty Warriors) in my head.. and especially when it showed a massive group of grunts supporting the characters..
  10. Great vid, really get the vibes going Just picked up my LE and amiibo without preordering. The day preorders went live, i was told be retailers in my area (Toronto) have already been oversold. As much as some vets here hate the new age players "started with awakening and fates", they are the only real reason why retailers are stocking up on these items. #fuckscalpers
  11. Went to a local Gamestop (called eb games here in Canada). Was the 9th one to put down money to preorder the game today.. but was told to expect the worst. Employees are doubting their own company ability to fulfill these orders.... sigh....
  12. A lot of us Canadians get screwed usually with unknown preorders dates. Amazon Canada just posted up, prime members save 20% making it 39.99cad
  13. It was definitely my neglect to realize how popular FE became after awakening. When Awakening launched, there was abundance of Fire emblem editions 3DS XL's sitting on eb games store shelves. I'd figured if i couldn't fight off the hardcore FE fans for preordering special editions for Fates, i'll take my chances with launch day. The mind set was If i spent 20 dollars on preordering the regular editions, but managed to find a special edition on launch day.. it'll be money wasted.
  14. Sigh.. Frustrating to say the least, I used my lunch from work to try to buy one.. Now I'm Fire emblem'less and I'm hungry... This is the first time I've seen out of stock 2 hours from store opening since tactics ogre for psp.
  15. Okay. My excitement turned into anger, not only couldn't I reserve the special edition the day of pre-orders went up at eb games. All regular editions of fates is sold out too? I went to 2 ebgames and 2 Walmarts. Almost all the employees had a nice giggle saying I was just a few mins late when the last copies got sold
  16. I have a great suggestion for you guys in Europe... buy Bravely Second and mock us in NA that we have to wait until April to play it!! If japanese reviews are any hints, its a amazing game and enough game time to keep you busy until Fates arrives over there
  17. We're a few days off from the release date, gaming presses seems to cover everything extensively except I haven't seen any coverage of English online multiplayer on Fates. I remember a poster on this forum posted a Japanese video of how it searched up players via internet and initiated a battle.. but no word on the English version? Just to clarify, i do not mean the "defend your castle" battles which i believe its done via spotpass (i could be really wrong about that). I know this may not be a priority for a lot of members here.. but for me i find a lot of post story value in a game like this. Anyone got any English vids of this feature?
  18. .... is that a knife necklace specifically designed to tear that shirt apart................................. the creativity!
  19. +1 It will be awsome if Serenes Forest can set up weekly tourneys. Mod's pairing up users based on their timezones/regions/class etc..
  20. ^^Much thanks. looks promising! I can see myself being extremely frustrated with this Multiplayer (chances are, a good 75% of the time im going to get my ass kicked). This is a good thing
  21. Anything at your convenience, will be greatly appreciated by me and i'm sure by other members here!
  22. +1 Im really surprised no footage of this! Perhaps not what the average FE fan is interested in? I've used my super advanced research skills (Goolgle and Youtube.. haha).. only thing that shows up is forums asking for multiplayer, or gaming websites that link directly back to OP's topic post! http://nintendoeverything.com/fire-emblem-fates-has-pretty-extensive-online-multiplayer/ http://gematsu.com/2015/06/fire-emblem-fates-online-multiplayer
  23. +1 Im in the exactly same boat. Im under the assumption the 5 units you choose for the battle is from the story you progressed. Since White and Black Kingdoms have different classes, i wonder if there will be balancing issues
  24. I can see customers who grew up in a ultra conservative community being offended.. But for me, not at all I think it's more of a cultural shock for customers in the west (perhaps even just North Americans.. my understanding is Europeans are quite open minded compared to us) that are complaining. I'm from Canada, never been in hotspings. If half of Europe and all of Asia loves it, its most likely we're the ones missing out. Face rubbing? umm sure. maybe its actually a more affectionate way to express your feelings, i'll still try it out on the game. I'm not sure what the complaint is with Fanservice (im assuming this refers to the panty/boob shots). Every commercial break in any sport in America is much worse and even more suggestive (milk commercials with girls in bikinis pouring all over their mouth and boobs, girls with nipple bras, literally stickers on their nipples, jumping up and down for something that relates to basket ball.... girls wearing g strings promoting a golf club.. yes.. even in GOLF). Europe.. then dont even care, the girls are topless. It's already ingrained in our culture/media. Japan/Asia can be considered much more conservative in this regard.
  25. Is this the Chinese Foo Dogs you usually see infront of historic buildings in China town(s)? I think some members called it a puppet master? Does anyone know Japanese to tell if the sides say a name or so to confirm? No physical weapons in hand.. perhaps magic.. Hoshido's version of dark knights?
