  1. FE3 Castor is really fun to use and Jeorge is pretty good too. Sedgar and Wolf are alright. But yeah, bows are pretty good in Mystery. Especially in Book 2 where you meet a lot of dracoknights and their sky high defense. Mages are the only ones who are good in 1-2 range.
  2. Castor does not promote in FE1 so his growths kinda carry him. I would say use Gordin or Jeorge for archers if you want to.
  3. Honestly, I need some boards from the GameCube games. Definitely the bias from growing up with them. Plus some more playable characters would be nice. Boo mains rise up!
  4. Funnily enough I thought about putting Abel instead of Cain for the green hair but I thought why not Cain? I'm so glad he turned super well. I thought the magic reclass male trio of Cord, Draug and Caesar was good but I'm starting to lean toward the magic reclass trio of Cain, Abel and Norne. The problem is in New Mystery, Cain joins way later so he's probably not gonna be AS good as he was here. But yeah, I'm glad to have been a part of this PMU! It was fun watching everyone struggle and then grow into absolute units. Also, I very much agree on Dolph. Him and Macellan are really fun to use as reclassed units. Reclassing in the Archanean games is hilariously broken and super fun to mess around with.
  5. Proud to see Cain have destroyed Reddit, knew it was a great idea to make him a mage this PMU
  6. Very glad Cain turned out so well. I hope he has been of great use to you in this playthrough
  7. The legend of SpeeDarros will forever live on in the hearts of many
  8. I wish Cain got a few more points into magic since as a Sage/Bishop, his magic growth drops to 25%. Also yeah, Caesar is gonna take a miracle to even become on par with your units. I forgot Dolph was in this playthrough too lmao.
  9. Oh yeah also in Ch 2, Finn receives a brave lance by talking to Quan once you capture Heirhein castle.
  10. I'm very glad Cain is growing well as mage. Always loved the idea of a physical unit becoming a magical unit and still kicking ass, bless reclassing.
  11. We're witnessing something legendary folks. Two of the worst units in Shadow Dragon becoming two of the best. Darros and Matthis fans are crying tears of joy rn
  12. The thought of Darros capping speed both terrifies and slightly amuses me
  13. Darros doubling enemies, never thought I'd see the day. Man's too fast, someone stop him!
  14. You can pair up people by having them stand together for several turns. Having people get married will come into play later on. There are optimal pairings but I leave that up to you if you wish to do research beforehand. Also, as Shadow Mir mentioned, the maps are huge so use the save function at the start of each turn. That way, you're not burning yourself out by trying to marathon this game. I would recommend treating each castle as a chapter honestly. There's a magic triangle along with the regular weapon triangle: Fire -----> Wind-----> Thunder. Dark magic beats them all but is weak to light magic. Good luck and have fun!
  15. It's still funny to me that the Christmas Cavs make very good mages. I know the magic reclass male trio is Cord, Caesar and Draug but damn mage Cain and Abel give them a run for their money.
  16. How about Roshea as a healer since you're not gonna have one for a long time with Caesar? He's not gonna grow well as a healer but it's better than nothing. If you allow me to choose someone else, I wanna say Cain as a mage. He has a shockingly high magic growth of 35% (same as his str growth) and he's fast with a 55% speed growth. Plus it looks like you could use some mages as well.
  17. Never thought I would see a boss hack for SNES Emblem and so quick too! I'm glad these are starting to crop up. This and the one for FE7 are paving the way for other boss hacks. Great job on this!
  18. Any playable axe user. Having an axe stuck in my skull doesn't sound very pleasant.
  19. Unfortunately, yes this hack did die. https://feuniverse.us/t/gfe1r-generic-fe1-remake/2134/60 Look for Kirb's comment on Februrary 3
  20. For this hack? Link it to me please
  21. Valbar's family including his parents are killed by Barth and his pirates.
  22. I disagree. Having the huge maps is one of the things that Genealogy unique. Instead, I suggest that they cut chapters down by castle. This way, all of your units can spawn together at the start of the next chapter.
  23. Everyone that's been mentioned in this thread plus a few more: I would want a Salem-esque character from Slither to join as well for all routes. Metodey should also be for CF only. Some of the bosses like Lonato and Gwendal, I would like to join but I'm not exactly sure where they would go.
  24. It's fun, but it trivializes the combat so easily. Slamming into other ghosts is kinda broken tbh. Though, I will say it's fun to slam the Boos. Super suck feels like an upgrade to the combat of 1. That's just my opinion.
  25. While I won't say I hated it, I did dislike Dark Moon. I found the mission structure to not really fit with Luigi's Mansion. To me, Luigi's Mansion is all about exploring the environment at your own pace with virtually no restrictions. That's what I loved about the first one. Luigi doing missions felt like they should have just kept going with the exploration. Having Luigi do a small task and then return to E. Gadd, and then go back felt like a chore. I also hated that all the boss ghosts were so similar in design, not the objects they inhibited though. I also liked the descriptions each ghost had in 1, it gave a boss ghost some backstory and personality. I'm a bit sad 3 doesn't have it. I'll admit I liked the super suck idea Dark Moon had over the slam. Scarescraper was also a fantastic idea to introduce since some fans might wanted to play with their friends.
