  1. Mugging Blitz Round 1

    Sorry but I get an error when I try to view the bmps, can you reup them? This one is also the wrong size - it's missing some space from the top. Once these are fixed I'll release the package - currently we're at 87 mugs total not including ones that need fixing. I'll continue to accept submissions up until the package is released so feel free to keep posting!

    There are only 3 things that really matter. Most projects don't have them and they end up failing. 3. Mapper: no maps = no game 2. Eventer: nothing on the maps = no game 1. Project Manager: no progress = no game There's an argument to be made for needing a Writer but you seem to be fine on that front. Show that you have, or are willing to learn, these 3 things and the playtesters/spriters/whatever else will follow. Sprites/music/animations/skills/whatever are only useful once you actually have a game to put them into.

    Time: December 1 until December 8 Goal: Make as many free-to-use mugs as possible All right guys you know the drill - same as the Chapter Creation Blitz and the Mapping Blitz, our goal is to make as many mugs as possible in the space of a week. At the end of the week all of the submissions will be released as a package free for anyone to use in their projects. Guidelines: All skill levels welcome - DON'T WORRY if you've never made a mug this is the perfect chance to start! Images should be GBA insertable format (including eye/mouth frames and minimug) Splices are allowed, existing characters are allowed keeping in mind your submitted mugs will be free to use and edit by anyone Please no TLP style minimugs (lazy face cutouts) Submit by posting in this thread, the corresponding FEU thread, or directly sending it to me Useful Resources for Beginners:

    Sign up HERE Overview This is an event much like the highly successful Chapter Creation Blitz - you have 1 week from Monday 4 Sep until Monday 11 Sep to create and submit a map. At the end of the event, all maps will be released as a package, free for anyone to use in their projects. Guidelines: Submit maps in .tmx (Tiled) format. If there are any tile changes, please have those set up correctly. Include a .png version of the map Filenames should be (your name)_(FE6/7/8)_(hex code of the tileset)_(optional map name).tmx If you use a custom palette or tileset, include those with your submission Your map will be free to use and edit by anyone, provided credit is given
