  1. Tiering Emblems feels weird because every emblem feels like it can have a purpose depending on which units you run and how they synergize with the kit. I feel like there a few absurdly good ones (Corrin, Byleth, Micaiah, Lyn) but most of the rest feel very similar in terms of viability because they all enable good builds/options. Marth makes effective weapons busted, gives bonus EXP which can help units get into Canter range pre-10, and enables things like long bow poisoning with covert archers on top of giving 3 str and 4 spd. Celica's echo & seraphim is a very nice combo. Warp Ragnarok early is obviously very strong as well. Warp Ragnarok falls off, but the bonus damage for magic and seraphim do not. Sigurd's movement speaks for itself. If you don't view Sigurd's offensive potential through momentum and override as good enough, you can just throw it on Seadall and suddenly Sigurd is amazing again. Leif enables vantage wrath which is enough to let him do great work, and his bonuses to HP/Def help with that. Alternatively, quadruple hit + momentum can give good chip damage if not outright kill. Roy giving 6 str is honestly all he needs. Hold Out is a nice bonus, too. Put him on a high speed low str unit and he will do well. Eirika seems like one of the most slept on emblems as a whole. Martial Master with Eirika for example turns 0x4 into something like 15x4 and can help your Martial Master of choice transition into a mixed damage/support once you get Hortensia. Any lower str units will start doing solid damage once you equip Eirika. Ike's kit just works so well on turning any unit into an omni-tank. Resolve, Wrath, 4 Str with the 7 HP and 5 Def bonus... It can work on most characters tbh. Also vantage wrath. Lucina enabling chain attacks from tons of different unit types and from a distance is so absurdly useful. Inheriting Dual Assist+ onto other backups (esp. heroes) kinda serves the same purpose, so I can definitely get underrating her because of that. However, she also has bonded shield. Lucina w/Seadall is very good for example because not only does it enable chain attacks, but it gives 100% bond shield procs if you're wanting to support a ep unit and don't need to dance.
  2. Hello! I can add some info from the Scarlet Blaze route later today if I can get the account setup info c:
  3. So I'm on chapter 21 of blue lions and I have a question about Dedue post-skip and about similar situations in the other routes.
  4. Not sure if it was stated yet, but the latest video showcasing the BL ending also showed the NG+ stuff.
  5. If anything this just lines up the final Mila's bounty with the Cipher DLC release. I don't think this will delay anything.
  6. Easily worth the 40 bucks. Amazing characters, great art and story, perfect sound track, gameplay is fun, and you can do so much with it. In regards to dlc, money dlc is super nice. If you want to max stats for post-game, you probably want both of the temples (you only need the last one technically but you'd have to level your units enough to where max stats may be harder to get without overclass. If you have both, you can solo the first one with a mercenary that can villager loop). Cipher DLC is 4 characters and it's the cheapest DLC so that's definitely worth it imo. Grinding DLC really isn't necessary since you can just grind in dungeons. Enemies attack you in dungeons (versus them not initiating in grinding DLC) so if you're wanting to solo grind one unit, it's much easier to dungeon grind. If you're grinding your whole team, the dlc map is kinda nice for quick autobattle-esque grinding but that's it.
  7. if it's too annoying to spend 3 minutes going back two spots on the map and then going to a village on your way back up, Atlas definitely isn't for you lol.
  8. he goes back to his village once, but then you can go back, get him, and he'll stay with you. Edit: Quoted the wrong post but the same person lool.
  9. It's a random drop in the Seaside Shrine in Celica's Route I think.
  10. Do we know what the DLC classes do aside from giving you another opportunity for level ups?
  11. Hard has a difficulty spike in act 4, but it's not too difficult. If you get stuck, it's also REALLY easy to grind in this game if you want to go down that route.
  12. There are some situations where you want to promote ASAP while other situations where it's kind of... eh? As an example: Gray is a Villager you get at Lv. 5. He will also be your main (potentially only) Mercenary promotion out of the starting villagers, as it's by far his best class. The base stats for Mercenary are as follows: 24 HP, 8 Str, 8 Skl, 10 Spd, 0 Lck, 4 Def, 1 Res Gray's base stats are as follows: 24 HP, 9 Str, 4 Skl, 4 Spd, 2 Lck, 4 Def, 2 Res That means that when you decide to promote him to his inevitable Mercenary, if you do it immediately, he will gain 4 skill and 6 speed. This is a situation where you don't want to waste time trying to get level ups, as instant promotion will help Gray become WAY more useful IMMEDIATELY. If you don't gain much from promoting, you can probably stay in the class a bit. Example exceptions would be things involving spell lists (ex. If you want Faye's Dancer spell ASAP) or if you want to go into a high movement class (ex. Villager -> Cavalier)
  13. MaligKnight!Elise :D edit: You have arthur twice btw from what it seems. Maligknight and Grandmaster.
  14. Yeah this is why if multiplayer is going to be a thing, you pretty much have to do it through private match making instead of the public match making lmao.
  15. People that have save hex edited have went online with multiple yatos if I recall correctly.
  16. I want to do a run through of all three paths with only Shigure's and Shiro's. As such, I need as many of these guys as possible via Castle Address. Preferably no levels gained and as low of a recruitment level as possible. If you want to give me a Shigure or Shiro, just state which one you're giving and who their parents are, leave your castle address, and make it an easy sieze. If you do all three, I'll definitely leave you an accessory/compliment your castle/what have you. Using a heart seal to put them in their third class (the class they get from the other parent) would be nice, but it's not required at all! Anyone wanna help me out?
  17. Do you mean growths or mods? As an example: Azura gives a super solid 50% str growth, but no mods to really go with it.
  18. The thing with gay fates is that it edits the support table in the hex coding pretty hard, so if you import a save file into the gay fates hack that wasn't originally a gay fates save file, your supports are going to get flopped around. It's highly recommend to start a new save when playing gay fates.
  19. I just braindump'd my copy of fates that I had installed on my 3DS via CIA (which I got through the uncart feature and converting it from 3DS to CIA). I'm assuming that if I can do this, since it's treated like an installed game, you should be able to as well, but I could be wrong on that?
  20. What firmware are you on? As long as you're not trying to downgrade your 3DS, there really aren't many ways you can actually screw up your 3DS through homebrew. It's honestly a pretty safe procedure. If you're on 10.5, installing hax through a specific mean like browser hax, OoThax, etc and then installing menuhax through homebrew is super safe and honestly doesn't require too much effort, either.
  21. So I'm wanting to make a hack where everyone has corrin-level supports (can support every opposite gender romantically, every same gender platonically, and can gay marry one candidate), but I'm completely failing to understand this hex stuff, so I hope I can ask a question here. Using Ryoma as an example... My understanding is that I can copy a 12 byte support line at the end of Ryoma's section in the hex, paste insert it, edit the first and third byte accordingly, make it romantic/platonic, repeat this process for every character missing, and then when I finish with Ryoma and he has every support available, change the pointer in the support table for the next character so it points to the start of their section in the hex (in this case, since Corrin male is next, I'd change Corrin's 4 bytes from what it currently is to whatever it is pushed down to in the hex file). Is there something I'm missing that I have to do to add these supports?
  22. Saizo!Shigure has worked wonders for me because he's so good as a ninja imo. Like, whenever I do ninja runs, I generally use him as one of them because he doesn't lack in strength, and generally his defense/resistance is fine as well (in ninja terms, at least). Shigure is in my top 3 fates characters and is my top 1 child unit, so what I said above may be sliiightly biased x:
