9/10 First playable dark magic user in the series, which isn't really great considering how bad dark magic usually is. But his staff rank more than makes up for his attack magic, since he becomes a great staff-bot.

Because of the Norse hero, I am pretty sure Sigurd will be translated as Sigurd (I am praying for no Zigludo...). Julia and Julius are real Latin names while Yuria and Yurius are just bad translations, so I have a feeling they will be Julia and Julius. Aless/Ares is more foggy, since both are actual names. However, Aless is usually short only for the female form of the name, Alessandra, so his name may actually become Alex once translated (with NoA anything is possible). I really don't know what NoE and NoA will do here...My vote is for Ares though. I think Serlis will be picked over Celice just because it was used by NoA before. Deke and Rutoga need to go back to being Dieck and Rutgar or get new names..

I feel a little conflicted on Alvis. Part of me cannot forgive him because of everything that happened at Bahara. But then part of me feels kind of sorry for him for being manipulated as he was. This pity is not enough to make me forget how much of a jerk he was in chapter 5 though, so I guess I lean towards disliking him. But I can see how people would like him due to the silver sword and chapter 10. And Trabant. I used to really hate him the first time I played the game. But after playing seisen again and then playing Thracia, I though a little more about him, and realized that at least he had a reason for doing what he did. At least he realizes that what he is doing is wrong, but he doesn't care as long as Thracia survives; he is thinking like a king for his people. I still don't love him, but I clearly don't hate him now.

8/10 Great mounted unit for outdoors chapters. High Pursuit level and pretty solid growths. However, he does come pretty under-leveled. But he also gets you the elite sword.

9.5/10 Because no one plays his game, the poor guy is so underrated. He was probably my most powerful unit in Gaiden, barring maybe the pegasi. However he has a bit of a weak start, but nothing compared to Leaf or Roy. I wish more people played his game...

Maybe a 5ish? I think some characters are bound to be good, while others will probably be terrible. I wonder if NoA will just take the English voice acting like they did in Xenoblade.

A charisma bot is always fun. She has her own sword which is also cool. Her main problem is that she is mounted so I don't really like using her indoors. Plus I just love the Leaf/Nanna pairing (probably my favorite in the series) so that is a bias. 8 + 1 bias = 9/10

I am actually one of the few lucky ones who everyone I like seems to have been picked (Aless, Cuan, Nanna, Elincia, Ethlin, Percival, Sety, Camus, Geof, Eddie, ect.). And even Elto maybe comming--I don't know what the details on that are, but he seems to at least be there as a villain, so there is a shot of him being playable (if he isn't, IS you have tricked me again and must really be trying to burst my happy bubble). My main concern is how someone like Arden got in when pretty much any other unit in G1 had more plot importance than that guy did. Also no Sara or Linoan for FE5 was kind of a shock, since I felt they were pretty important when I played Thracia (well at least Linoan was...Sara was more for Kia staff). I would have preferred Shannan over Lakche for G2 since we already have Ayra and Mareeta, but I don't really mind that they picked her over him since she has a pretty good fanbase, it seems. Also wish that Reinhardt and/or Aerone had been in that pic with Elto, Ishtar, and Trabant, but I guess we can't get everyone. I wonder who will be the FE7 people. IS has been keeping really mum about that.

She is good for the first few chapters but then disappears for a good 75% of the game and is a pain to get her back (I hate ch 24x if I don't have save states). Her only purpose is to quickly kill the bosses in the beginning, but you can do it without her, you just need a lot more patience and luck. 4/10
