  1. Hey everyone, I decided to try out a full on LTC run after considering a Blitzkreig run for the longest time. Echoes is by far my favorite 3ds title, and I decided I want it to be my first game to LTC. I know its going to be more difficult than most other games for an LTC Run due to high enemy bulk and terrain advantages, but theres also so much fun things to be had like some pretty crazy warp strats. Ive played through the first act to get a feel for it and just getting to Silque to 7 in time took a bit of planning but it was so fun to just Warp people over the wall. I decided to restart the run though because I had some very poor optimization since I viewed it as a test run, but now Im recording it and uploading it to youtube for anyone who would like to keep up. I read through Espinosa's post about attempting the same thing, and I think I will take his handling of coin farming. Silver marks are a-ok to farm but can not be converted to Gold Marks. The prologue itself was easy enough, just throw Mycen at Slayde until he kills him on turn 1 then kill the remaining Cav. Shoutout to the seed where Mycen orkod Slayde then missed the Cavalier who proceeded to run and Claim Slaydes Grave.
  2. Arthur is useful as an earlygame cleaner unit, a bronze axe fixes all accuracy issues he has early on, the hand axe is good for chipping, and his PU bonuses are just great. He's pretty much a free unit to use unless you manage to find room for Mozu to get the first seal, and you can very easily raise him to level 10 before you turn him into a pair up bot in/after chapter 10. I also take into account child units/paralogues if they are actually noteworthy and Arthur has the best kid, and gives you a lot of gold. As for his use as a pair up bot, he's Charlotte, but for girls without giving as much speed (2 less than charlotte). He's so far away from Charlotte because her boosts are just better, the units that really need them are all in the top 10, and she comes with no required training. He also gets the option to go Cavalier and rock the shelterdancing strats, and while I don't like this as I believe he serves better as a PU bot, it still counts towards him as a point above some of the units below him.
  3. Correct me if Im wrong but isnt the earliest available B Stave really chapter 7 (if on Lunatic mode at least) because of the shrine maiden right outside of Haitaka's room? Edit, Im dumb, you were right chapter 9 is ther one with Haitaka. Its been a while since I was at the start of Conquest.
  4. If you wanna be like me and download a save for hard mode than just dont use Roy ever. Think of him as an earlygame archer, shit stats, but now imagine him being 1 range locked, and he also doesnt promote until way late in the game. After he promotes and gets his personal weapon he can do tons of damage to lategame enemies even at 1/1 so its not a big loss at all. EDIT: Didnt see the date on this, sorry guys lol
  5. Jakob is one of the best units in the game, and imo is one of the top 5 units in Conquest. Early on he has amazing offense because base stats as a Paladin and the skills you get from the cav line, shelter allows for really cool strats with Azura dancing, and by partner sealing Wyvern Corrin, Elsie, Beruka, or Camilla he can go Malig Knight for trample and more damage stacking, and flying shelter. If you partner him with Azura you can make him a falco knight, get staff utility back, pick up rally speed, and I prefer to take him to Kinshi after all of that for Darting Blow + Elbow room for his personal offense stacking, rally speed, shelter, and amateratsu for utility. He never really falls off because of how easy it is to abuse the reclassing system with him and getting skills much earlier and allowing huge stacks before you could even imagine doing them without Jakob.
  6. Thats a good point, but she still requires double the investment of other PU bots. 4K for a heart seal and master seal vs 2k for a Master Seal.
  7. Ophy likes a little bit of speed early on if you want to give the Horse Spirit to Leo which I think is the best so you can have two magic tanks (Leo Horse Spirit tanking Ophy Vantage Nos). I couldve ranked the later joining staffbots higher, but I just prefer to capture max staff ranked units with Niles (Especially Shurikenbreaker Onmyojis)
  8. I did a fates character sorter and picked my units based on who I thought was the best in terms of unit wise and the results seem fairly interesting. The top 10 seems fairly standard, Felicia > Elise because good PU bonuses and first servant snowballing. Beruka, Keaton and Sev are at a good position, not quite as good as the units above them but are still all standout from the rest of the cast. Gunter is an amazing utility unit as a WL, and Charlotte is the best PU bot in the game. Owain (Odin) is a good nostank for the earlygame and when you get his kid/leo he can transition into samurai to help them get into doubling ranges and lets Ophy ORKO a lot more at base. Shura has bow and staff utility, arthur is also a good PU bot but nowhere near Charlotte since he cant support Xander/Jakob/Leo/Kaze/Silas. Mozu is low because she really cant get to the first 2 seals and will be underleveled by the time 13 comes around. Peri has very low bases, only 4 stats over Silas despite coming in much later. Benny and Inigo dont do anything that anyone else cant. Inigo is outclassed as a merc by Selena, as a footlock combat unit by Keaton, and just as a PU bot by Selena, Keaton, Charlotte, Arthur. Nyx is just horrible. Also heres the kids who I wont explain as much because its fairly standardsauce.
  9. Ok, Odin is so absolutely stupidly good in Conquest. His stats may not be the most impressive at a first glance, but they turn him into the perfect Nosfertank. He breaks the earlygame, Id say even harder than early Paladin Jakob. He has the bulk to use the Nosferatu effectively, and he can solo the entire side of a map. He solod the entire leftside of Chapter 10, and for me he solod the entire Percy paralogue because even Camilla gets overwhelmed by the sheer number of enemies. The only thing that gave Odin trouble on the map were the seal defense lancers because things got to the point where they outdamaged his healing on a few runs of the map. This isnt even taking into account that you can give him the first two heartseals and just marry Jakob off early and partner seal him. Vantage Nosferatu sounds almost unbeatable on a player unit.
  10. I wanna marry Jakob off to Azura but I can't decide on the better class to end up in. Should I go Falcon once he starts to fall off as a Paladin and become a flying support unit, or should I go Kinshi and have him try to be a good bird.
